“It’s a decent product. For the price I expected more features. It does what it advertises and nothing more. There are cheaper options out there that will accomplish the same task. Build quality is good. They nickel and dime you for accessories which sucks, but I suppose so do a lot of other companies.”
“I love the decos outdoor light. I use it not only for grilling, but on crime scenes. It is very light weight, and sets up in seconds. It is great for any low light area.”
“The Devos Lightranger is fantastic product. I use it in the backyard as well as take it with me on monthly campouts with my son’s Scout troop. In fact, the troop likes it so much they’ve requested that I order a few for the troop as it is a game changer when Scouts need to set up their own tents after dark. I’m hesitant to do that though due to the design of the tripod base. At the last Campout a Scout barely stepped on one of the legs of my Lightranger and now it can no longer stand on its own (fractured bracket around the rivet). Otherwise this is a 5/5 product.”
“Overall much better than the standard nylon bags! Would have liked to have seen a better zipper, maybe a stash pocket on outside for the shoulder strap when not in use, not a fan of the plastic shoulder strap clips. Really wish it had some type of internal tie straps (mole strips) for the light poles to secure. I drive down a lot of dirt roads and will see how it holds up tied down to cargo rack.”
“Went camping two weeks ago and I was looking forward to using the light kits. They worked flawlessly. The first night I had them on the brightest setting and they gave me about 4 hours of light. The following night I put them on the lowest setting and it worked for over 6 hours. The lights are well designed and constructed. The solar panel is a nice feature but it does take a very long time to recharge the light., and yes, that's a very big bear that paid us a visit...”
“Let me just say, this company has it going on in the right direction…sales, customer service, product development are 100% spot on!
They follow up on sales to make sure the product is what they say it is, BRIGHT!
Do business with these folks, you won’t regret it!”
“Game Changer because i don't have to carry lantern fuel & lantern mantels. I'm now only utilizing my Devos light. The only reason i didn't give a 5 star is because i wished the battery lasted longer. The good news is that i can turn off 1/2 of the lights (the sides that face away from campsite) and that greatly helps.”
“Very happy with my purchase of 2 lights, I have already had a friend buy one just 1 week after owning mine. Brought them to a hockey tournament and we couldn’t have enjoyed the outdoors parties without them. I used them to blow my leaves after sunset. One leg on the base did break the first weekend but that could have been a kid unsupervised and the replacement was only $25 so not the end of the world.”
“We took our first camping trip and used one of our Devos lights. It worked great. We saw reviews that said the light was too "bright" or too "white", but we found it a perfect compliment to our camper lights. We bought two, but only used the one. My only complaint was that it shut off suddenly. We assumed that it just needed charged, and it did. Wished it gave some sort of warning, or dimmed s it got weaker.”
“Honestly, I love the Light Rangers so much that I'm almost upset they didnt come with larger batteries! I brought 2 units out last camping trip. I left one with two sides lit and one with four sides lit for the weekend. The 10w solar panels were sufficient to charge the device with 2 sides lit but not the device with 4 sides lit. Was bitter sweet but i think i can survive happily with both units running 2 sides each. My only other feedback is to integrate red leds. They use less power than white leds and would render additional lenses obsolete. Thanks devos!
