When you buy an item for store pick up you don’t get an estimate time of arrival until you get a supervisor involved due to “security reasons “ made me laughing at first Better get it shipped to your house and be prepared

I ordered a pair of shoes for my wedding. To my surprise, when the delivery finally came the shoes were two completely different sizes and very evident they were not new and had been worn. Calling customer service was 30+ minutes on hold just for them to tell me I have the pleasure of driving 45 minutes to my local UPS store to return these garage sale shoes. I do not recommend this retailer. Used goods sold as new, they clearly don't even check product to ensure shoe sizes match AND you will be in for a treat trying to connect with customer service giving up at least an hour of your life to get things corrected.

Wait times are ridiculous. My experience is in regards to a wallet that i'd purchase thru afterpay. i ended up returning the wallet, bc my daughter, did not like the color of it. I called Dillards to let them know, that the wallet had been return to them, and that afterpay needed to be made aware; so that i could be refunded from AFTERPAY. The dillards Rep first said that i had ask her about a sales tax; i told her, No, i am calling abt refund. The Rep went off; loud talking, telling me, i did mention sales tax on item, then slam the phone up on me; keep in mind how long it takes them to answer, when u call. i call back, a guy answer; when ask for a Supervisor; was told hold on; phone hung up. I call back; finally, i speak with Charra-Supervisor. I did let her know that i would be doing a review. I mean; Dillards has gone to the doggs. I ended up reaching out to Dillards for atleast 50 mins, before, actually speaking with a Supervisor. Bad Business. i live chat, Telephone, and email dillards.

I bought boots and they issued an incorrect tracking number. I still to this day don’t know where they are!!

I recently placed two orders online with Dillards. Funds were deposited from my account, then I received an email that I needed to contact them regarding my order. Wait times were absolutely ridiculous! So I emailed them that I reviewed my orders and saw nothing wrong with the order, the shipping address was correct, the billing address was correct and my items were in stock. So I emailed them, again due to the wait time to speak to an associate regarding their intention to cancel my order if I did not contact them. I confirmed that the money was infact withdrawn from my account, and then two days later the order was cancelled. I called Dillards and waited a total of 43 minutes for someone to answer the phone - yes, while at work. I questioned them about the issue with my order, and the steps I attempted to take. She said since they were not able to reach me to confirm my order, they did in fact cancel the order. I informed her that I was very upset by this, and the fact that my money was taken! I was told I would have to wait a total of 3-5 days for my money to be refunded to me. I am an online shopper, as going into the stores makes me very anxious - Not COVID related, just in general trying to find what I want in the size needed, etc... I'm very saddened by this ordeal and the fact that I am out the money until it is refunded to me so that I can go elsewhere to shop. This was no small order either!! Less than 1 star is deserved. Never again will I shop at Dillards.

I bought the wrong size bra online and went to return it in store. I asked if they did a bra fitting because I thought that is what size I needed. The lady said yes and walked around to pick out a few bra's for me to try on. She had me go to a dressing room to try them on. Never once measured me. I was feeling frustrated, tried a bunch of bra's on none of which was the ones I returned. I told her I wanted the ones I returned just bigger. She asked me which ones I liked and I told her which ones I actually found to like. Then she asked which ones I wanted to buy. I told her I wanted to wait and think about it. I just wanted to leave because it wasn't working. She LITERALLY scoffed at me and turned around, left the dressing room, and disappeared. I am still in shock about it... I had the best fitting here a few years ago and wanted to come back but with that kind of customer service I would never care to go again. Layton, Utah. 9/2/21

I purchased 4 tops on 3 August and it stated they would reach me no later than 10 August. I had them shipped to PA for ny reunion. 2 of the shirts didn't make it until the afternoon of the 12th. I assumed by calling they would help me forward the package or provide me a return shipping label- nope $9.99 at my cost and argued with me about how many business days they had (5-- yet I didn't receive until 6th). I spent 20 minutes wasted speaking with Marisa and the manager Elsa. The Customer is NOT always right at Dillard's and they could care less that this was my first online experience with them, and now my last in store and online over yes, $9.99 because I now had to pay $9 to print a label to my parents printer to send to me so I can return to a VA store with the rest of my order bc although I liked 2 of them, there's no way I am supporting this business. You can take your chances and shop at Dillard's online but why would you in 2021 with such a horrible return policy and attitude towards customers? You can literally shop anywhere and they'll provide you a free prepaid return label now if you don't like it: Macy's (their competitor), Amazon...again, it's not 1999. They lost me as a customer for life.

I received a dress in the mail 2 days ago that I haven't even worn and saw that the dress had been reduced again on the website. I called to see if I could get the reduced rate which they refused and told me I could return the dress and reorder it. A really stupid policy. I will no longer be shopping at Dillards. There are many other stores that don't even charge shipping both ways. I will be sticking with those stores and their policies and customer service are so much better. Try Nordstrom or Revolve are great stores.

I purchased a vintage Louis Vuitton from Dillards in Palmdale, CA on 7/27/21. I was indecisive about the handbag, but bought it anyway. The next day I decide it wouldn’t work for me and tried to return it to the store. I saw the posted sign that read “All sales are final.” (I know what that means.) I paid for the purchase anyway, and when I got home I look at the receipt and did not see anything on it, nor anything stamped on it that said NO RETURNS. I looked at the pink label on the tag that said, “PROOF OF PURCHASE (on the top,) and (on the bottom) it said, REQUIRED FOR RETURN. I thought I had a three day time limit. In the past when I had three days to return items it was printed on the receipt in BIG letters, and the return/proof of purchase label was always PINK too. I was confused, and I feel like I was misled. The store should have printed such information on the receipt, use a label that says, Absolutely No Returns! You cannot expect customers to assume what you mean. This unfortunate experience has caused me to CLOSE my Dillards account today, and I will not shop in your store, nor will my family & friends. I have been a loyal customer for decades. I have to keep the purse which the straps won’t stay up on my shoulders. LESSON LEARNED! My rating=zero stars.

The handbags d part ment with Dillards in Fairview Texas is the worst. The employees have limited to no product knowledge about the bags and their customer service is beyond the worst. I call to asked if a particular bag was in stocks, the employee told me the bag was there. When I got to the stop, I spoke to the employee who informed me the bag was there, to my surprise, Dillards didn’t carry her he bag at all. Okay drive over 20 miles to pickup the bag. I’ll will never shop there. Stay away from on Christy. She has a personality of a rock and horrible customer service. Save yourself the headache at shop either online or at rhe Stonebriar location which is were I purchased a Brahmin bag. I will never shop at the handbag department at Dillards in Fairview Texas again.

The store manager of countryside clearwater mall dillard store Christina refuse to make a refund or even exchange for a defective dress ( with bad billet and ineffective zipper) and when I told her this not unacceptable practice she ask the security gard to kick me out of the store. Unbelievable malpractice!!

DO NOT BUY any items online from Dillard's. They will just pick it up from the shelves dirty and broken and just ship it to your house as such. They are so disrespectful, no respect at for customers. Calling customer service is a waste of time. Please save yourself sometimes and buy somewhere else. They're not ready for online business. That's what they do to me.

I have purchased Làncome for a very long time; It is a reputable line that I used to be happy with. Due to the poor salesmanship with Dillards pre-sales and their disregard of the follow up sales, and their tampering with each of my last 4 purchases, I have dreaded going into the store for fear of the bullying and harassment I have dealt with. The management was very kind though.

Bought a dress at dillards for a work event last week out of town and didn't have a ability to return it until today. First of the lady condescendingly was like "was this worn because there is a little bit of deoderent on it here". When I told her to start I didn't end up need to wear it because I had found something else. Then she informed me because it was purchased over 3 day ago I would only be able to recieve a gift card credit rather then getting my money back. 3 Days??? What in the world is that? Who has the time to return something within that time frame especially when I bought the item for work out of town that night before leaving. Easy to say I was not pleased with their was of handling the situation and this BS policy. This is just their crappy way of keeping the money in their store. You shop anywhere else and the return period is within 30 days which is much more reasonable. Easy to say I won't be back.

DO NOT BUY, DO NOT BUY. I ordered a christmas gift on 12/9/20. The tracking to today 12/17/20 says USPS is still waiting for the item. I called on 12/14/20 to find out what the story was. The rep reordered and sent another item FedEx next day. On 12/17/20 I checked the order status and someone cancelled that order. I called again to find out what was going on and no one knows why that order was cancelled. I talked to a useless "supervisor" name Stephanie in the Texas call center and she was no help. I was told by her that items aren't being scanned to speed up shipping. So I'm supposed to trust her and hope a christmas gift for my wife arrives on time? The whole experience is like dealing with a call center in India or Pakastan, not the US. SO PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE. BECAUSE THIS COMPANY FOR LACK OF A BETTER TERM "SUCKS"

Ordered shoes online. I already had one pair in a different color so knew what my size was, but the pair I got were much larger by at least a size. I called and was told no refunds since they were on sale. They wouldn't even exchange them! No more dillards.com for me.

I placed 2 Black Friday sales orders. The first order was cancelled after 5 days. Now I will not receive the order and Black Friday sales are over at the other department stores. I chose Dillard's over other department stores, I will not make that mistake again. Dillard's should not be able to sell items that are not available for shipment. The second order had to be shipped from 2 different stores and they charged my credit card extra fees without my permission. I gave my consent for one total and they charged another amount. I will be contacting my credit card company about the over charge. I do not recommend shopping online with Dillard's.
