“This company is nothing but a scam, and I wish I had seen reviews before depositing such a large sum of money-over two million dollars. After my deposit, I was unable to withdraw any funds, and they demanded additional money to unfreeze my account. It was clear I had fallen victim to a fraudulent scheme. Luckily, a coworker had a similar experience and recommended Mrs. Doris Ashley. I contacted her, and after a thorough investigation, she was able to recover $450,000 for me. I'm beyond grateful for her assistance, and I encourage anyone in need of help to reach out to her via.

“Sent my files to India I believe the case handler didn’t know what a P60 was & refused to accept 3 of them for proof of earnings for the last 3 years
Even when I explained a p60 was from HMRC they said it wasn’t a legal document
Repeat assessments
Repeat treatments
Repeat everything you claim for & fail to recognise any of them although they match perfectly to their assessment that they forced me to attend 3 months after my initial ones - don’t recognise bupa , don’t recognise NHS surgeons
Anything you pay for they will duplicate so they use their people & they get the £ & not you
Avoid like the plague”
“I have had a policy with Direct Line for 20 years, I finally made a claim and needed legal advice. DLG Legal didn’t respond, took over a year and still no outcome, requested our information back and have been ignored. The team leader said he would contact me after 3pm, I sent an email back to make it after 3.30pm due to a doctor appointment, but the team leader didn’t contact me anyway. I am so disappointed with this service words can’t describe how let down I am feeling right now. I was expecting a professional service but I definitely didn’t receive one. There is nothing for loyalty in this day and age, lesson learned. After one year they recon my case isn’t covered in my policy, as if it would take them a year to inform me of this information. Total disappointment”
“DLG can employ legal clerks no good solicitors would admit to being on the payroll
We had a claim over a period of over 18 months
During this time we submitted reams of paperwork and photos,
We went through several handlers all with limited ability to grasp the situation
We only had four phone calls the last call was trying to explain what our claim was about the alleged solicitor claimed not to have sufficient information and quoted unknown names dates and details it was like ground zero then a few weeks later we received a long letter saying after almost 18 months they had not enough got enough details to make a case
Even though we sent reams of documents and details
We always got the impression they were out of Thier depth and never grasped the situation and how serious it was
Would EVER recommend them to anyone
Regards”
“Avoid Avoid Avoid by all means!!! They are incompetent, unprofessional and not adequately qualified. They pass you on from one incompetent person to another. Complaints are a waste of time. They have caused me a lot of stress and anxiety.”
“1 star is too good for DLG
DLG solicitor judged my claim for 'minor injuries' following a collision when I was stopped at a busy roundabout and a car drove into the back of my stationary car.
'Case closed' based on -
1. Minor impact, 5 mph
2. No GP notes/paramedic naming rta as reason for visit.
3. At-fault driver stated she - 'was not going fast enough to cause me damage.'
I am shocked that a solicitor would base any conclusion on the comments of the at-fault driver. Self-interested, non-factual. Is this ethical?
The solicitor failed to obtain paramedic report from my GP which descibed the reason for the - rta after effects and based her 'case closed' on this. Is this illegal?
My car is plactic-bodied and bounced.
Apart from the immediate shock of wobbly legs, I sustained all-through pain the following day - from head to feet and down to my hands.
I shall ditch Churchill next month. You pay for what you get. I'll choose from 'best buys' which.”
“What a unprofessional company I think. I submitted a claim through my insurers. Sent all the information they asked for. After 9 months they decided they wouldn't be going further with my claim.
The communication was terrible. I felt The lady Jennifer didn't seem very knowledgeable and professional. I am dissapointed with the long wait to be told this. My opinion is I wasn't happy with the way they kept me hanging on. And the way they handled my case. Personally I would not recommend them.”
“Absolutely Appalling service!
Professional negligence, absolutely no duty of care.... avoid at all costs!
If you are lucky enough to get one of the few experts this company employ then I'm sure youll have a marvellous experience.
But for the rest of us, who are passed from pillar to post, with absolutely no communication for months on end, then DLG will only make your problems worse.
What went wrong?
It's easier to say what went right.... nothing went right...
no one responds...
no one cares!
Ombudsman,
Financial Conduct Authority and Solicitors Regulatory Authority now contacted.
My case unresolved!”
“Words fail me when it comes to DLG legal services. By far the most incompetent company I’ve ever had to deal with. 5 years and 3 months for a no fault road traffic accident. And it’s still ongoing! It’s not even a complicated one. I’ve had 6 or more case handlers and there’s no fluidity being handed from one to another. They’ve lost information I’ve sent related to the case more than once on more than one occasion. Things that I was under the impression would be claimed for have now been removed from my case, such as loss of earnings because I’m self employed. They fabricated traveling expanse that amounted to half of what I’m untitled too. They tried to get me to sign medical reports that are untrue. I could go on for an age but I’ve wasted so much time on this already. It’s affected my metal heath having to deal with these people. I’ve made two official complaints as they have been rude and nothing changed.
Just know this people, you can change from one solicitor to another even though when I asked Churchill to do so years ago I was told it wasn’t possible.
I’ve just contacted another solicitors with the prospect of them taking over the case as I only just worked out this is very possible.
Once the case has been handed over I’ll be contacting Churchill and letting them know how the experience with their chosen solicitors has gone. I’d never insure with them again!!!
One thing that is consistent at least is the bad reviews. Seems the same sh*t has been going on for years.”
“Excellent service from start to finish. Kept me updated regarding car repair and very happy with courtsey car, all staff gave a brilliant service, highly recommend DLG Basildon”
“Four years to resolve a no fault claim. The beneficiary died of COVID two years before it was settled, so never benefitted. Final award was significantly less than was due, but settled to achieve closure for deceased relative. The most shambolic/unprofessional company I have ever encountered.”
“1 star would be a compliment to them.
My claim was delayed by over 2 months due to the person handling my claim was off work. Nobody had bothered to cover or pick this up until I called multiple times chasing it up. My first 5 emails had no response at all but it was nice to hear that the team had seen all of my emails and chose to ignore them. I’ve had little to no updates whatsoever by the team. Very unprofessional and nothing has been done to improve my terrible experience.”
“Would give zero but alas.
You have detroyed my younger brothers confidence on the road because apparently when you are hit side on by someone that failed to stop at a misfunctioning light its best case 50/50. I'm sorry I didnt look at your reviews because you are a bunch of clowns that should be shut down. Only if you worked for you client than do sweet FA.
I hope you get investigating you bunch of...”
“This company were given to me by Darwin after a car accident that wasn't my fault. The police were called and liability admitted immediately, 19 months ago. DLG have been useless and want me to take a fraction of what I have lost. It was months before my case was even started and it's now supposed to be going to court. They say they will contact you but never do This whole thing has caused me financial hardship and my car insurance has doubled! Avoid at all costs and don't use any of the insurance companies they deal with”
“I didnt realise at the time but since complaining to the Solicitors Regulatory Authority they said that Direct line legal services were discriminatory towards me at the start of the claim for non fault RTA.
This firm is discriminatory and completely unethical. They wont help any one in any circumstance of any complaint as this would not be in their best interst. They have to be forced by a 3rd party. Any problem they cause you will be outcast and they will distance themselves and blame you.
Stay away. I wish i never tried to claim and regret the day i ever heard the name Karen Oliver who destroyed my case win, mental health and life in general completely changed.”
“Avoid this company at all costs they are truly awful, Communication is dreadful when you send a email it takes 4 to 6 weeks if you’re lucky to get any response they lose documentation and keep changing case handlers if I could I would score them -10”
