I was involved in a no fault RTA in Feb 2019 - still no further forward with the claim. Have been passed from pillar to post, with the matter having had more claims handlers than I have had hot dinners. I have had to do all the chasing and work to get as far as I have. Information and photos have been lost - despite having been sent numerous times. Been promised lots of call backs that dont happen. I also asked in April for the case to be transferred back to a handler based in the UK - still waiting........ If you challenge what you have been told, the staff start to get shirty and virtually call you a liar. I would never pick this company and certainly would not recommend them.

Appalling, incompetent company. Serious lack of communication or acknowledgement of any kind of contact. Have to continually be chased up and their emails are riddled with spelling and grammatical errors. This suggests either a severe lack of professionalism or care on their part or that they are just hiring anybody. Tanya Griffiths had little to no understanding of certain terminologies and sided with the opposition despite unbiased proffesional opinion I was in the right. Numerous excuses for the opponent's actions were made as presumably them persuing the case in my favour or putting in the work does not benefit their company financially. I felt as if they were working against me, not for me. After months of not getting anywhere with them I have decided to employ an independent solicitor. Id strongly advise you to not use their services.

It saddens me to put this review on line, but despite repeated attempts to contact DLG regarding my case which is now in its third year, being past through different case handlers, auto response to the many emails I have sent stating they would reply within 5 days, still no one reply to me. I am at my wits end with worry. This was not a difficult case as liability was admitted at the very beginning of this case. The mistakes and delays have been caused by DLG employees and the medical advisor they sent me to. If DLG read this please respond to this.

Incompetent, after an accident (not my fault) was put in contact with this useless subsidiary of direct line insurance. Send them all the requested documents, pictures, doctors reports etc and then they keep requesting them time and time again! Call centre is in South Africa and some staff have such an accent which I couldn't understand properly. After about 12 months of being fobbed off I requested someone else to process the claim, BIG MISTAKE had to start the whole process off again. Eventually I said I was contacting the insurance Ombudsman to get things sorted, and after almost 3 years of to and fro got paid out. As they haven't cleared it up at their end after the case end I'm still paying the price of extortionate car insurance. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE CRETINS!!

Still waiting 2.5hrs with claim to be resolved extremely bad correspondence and emails ignored documents unable to be read case handlers keep changing my mental health has suffered. I am only using as my insurance company have them as their legal team and will definitely bring it up with them

Almost 2 years later since our car accident , liability admitted by other driver ! 3 claims handlers later .... and still no further forward! Very little communication and I would never recommend this company to anyone

To say DLG are absolutely useless would be an overestimation of their worth. Following a crash from an unknown driver in 2019 I embarked on a fiasco of form filling, reiterating and refilling, receiving badly spelt and grammatically incorrect letters stating facts wrongly, facts which I had already sent and verified. This was from DLG representatives, based in South Africa (who weren't even qualified solicitors) requesting the same documents over again asking me to rewrite details I had already provided, send pictures, already sent. The person dealing with my case was a Tebogo - who had more than one surname and was not legally qualified. Although the letters (headings) were from several Leeds addresses, when I called the number given I ended up speaking to a DLG representative IN SOUTH AFRICA which only increased the sense of inaccessibility and lack of UK legal representation. It was a frustrating, never ending, cyclical farce. I would definitely NOT RECOMEND DLG TO ANYONE.

DLG Legal Services are truly a terrible company to deal with. I have been involved with them for a home insurance case for well over two years now. DLG Legal Services are prepared to lie and deceive to further their own ends. They will not take responsibility for their own mistakes. They have not, in my case, gone about their business in an ethical manner. I do NOT and cannot recommend. My case managers have been Julian Bertrand, Alexander Marks and Tanya Griffiths.

Worst company!!! They do not seem to understand english. The only time they seem to do anything is when i email them. But even that is no longer working so i have to call them every other day. This company is a joke. Avoid at all cost.

Had Rta other party admitted liability kwas told to use by company insurance been on going since last year and I am having to there job they never ring me after I have spoken to different people every time and left messages for claims handler to call me and still don’t ring absolute joke in every way do not use have changed my legal case to local company as 10 months of incompetence and lack of communication stress and ignorance is enough I have had 3 different case handlers going from useless to even worse don’t seem interested in my welfare the fact been off work and awaiting operation and am at great financial loss I seem to be doing there job chasing up my own doctors records and so on

As per many other people, we have been passed through many claim handlers and been dictated to all the way through the claim, this is now been ongoing over 2 and a half years and information provided by the handlers has at all stages been incorrect. I have had to rectify everything constantly. They have also sent me to different consultants until they get the answer they want. I do NOT believe they are working on our behalf and feel the company should be looked into. I am trying to see if I can raise a case against the company for many reasons. DO NOT USE this company.

Hopeless, Bromley via South Africa trying to sort out my Personal injury claim has been total confusion, I’m moving my claim to a uk based company and wish I’d done it ages ago . Stay well clear of this company .

My Insurer passed me to this "Legal Service" after my non fault claim. Today I receive a call from DLG asking me to accept a ridiculous offer for my injuries... I, like many people have placed faith in this company to act in my best interests. I now feel that DLG are acting in their own commercial interests as far as my claim is concerned or as some sort of mediation service. Shocking in every way

I thought it was me who was on the receiving end of the poor poor service I have received. Almost 2 years since my car accident , liability admitted by other driver, the driver's insurers requesting the quantum report, 3 claims handlers later and still no further forward! AVOID THIS CHARLATAN COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

Just straight up poor customer service and organisation. Began with having to ask for a case handler within the U.K. Then being passed Pillar to post, no one answering emails, case handlers giving up cases and not passing the case on, so you essentially become lost. I am now waiting for the payout, but upon emailing for an update, I get told my agreement of the compensation wasn’t even passed onto the third party insurers (despite it being 3 weeks since I agreed to the payout amount!). Although this was a fairly straightforward case, and the other party admiring liability - it’s taken over 2 years now to get a resolution, which still hasn’t even happened. Don’t let them blame covid on these issues, as the issues were apparent long before that. Use any other legal services but DLG.

With Twane Humphreys as my case handler, I did not have a positive experience with DLG. I received infrequent communications and updates. I spent months meticulously completing a pain/impact diary because she asked me to do so, then once I'd sent it to her, said she would not be adding it to my case. She asked me to return forms she had not sent to me. She sent me forms she did not need completing. She asked me to complete the same forms more than once. I asked her to not telephone me due to my hearing impairment yet she continued to do so. I asked multiple times for her line manager's contact details so I could request an alternative case handler but she ignored every request. The case took 20 months despite being extremely straightforward because of Twane's poor administration skills and lack of attention to detail. The incompetent handling of my case has caused me more stress and anxiety than the RTA itself.

DLG Legal gave me very poor and superficial advice and caused me a considerable loss. They then refused to take any responsibility.

Terrible company from start to finish. It took 6 years for a personal injury claim to get to court. On the day the barrister told us he was missing vital evidence and would struggle to make our case with what he had. Documents we had sent DLG had not been submitted to the court and basic evidence had not been collated by them. We have had to do all the chasing and they never return calls. Original court date had been adjourned 3 days before when DLG realised they had not prepared properly. 6 months later and they still hadn’t prepared.
