“It saddens me to put this review on line, but despite repeated attempts to contact DLG regarding my case which is now in its third year, being past through different case handlers, auto response to the many emails I have sent stating they would reply within 5 days, still no one reply to me. I am at my wits end with worry. This was not a difficult case as liability was admitted at the very beginning of this case. The mistakes and delays have been caused by DLG employees and the medical advisor they sent me to. If DLG read this please respond to this.”
“Four years to resolve a no fault claim. The beneficiary died of COVID two years before it was settled, so never benefitted. Final award was significantly less than was due, but settled to achieve closure for deceased relative. The most shambolic/unprofessional company I have ever encountered.”

My claim was delayed by over 2 months due to the person handling my claim was off work. Nobody had bothered to cover or pick this up until I called multiple times chasing it up. My first 5 emails had no response at all but it was nice to hear that the team had seen all of my emails and chose to ignore them. I’ve had little to no updates whatsoever by the team. Very unprofessional and nothing has been done to improve my terrible experience.”

“This company were given to me by Darwin after a car accident that wasn't my fault. The police were called and liability admitted immediately, 19 months ago. DLG have been useless and want me to take a fraction of what I have lost. It was months before my case was even started and it's now supposed to be going to court. They say they will contact you but never do This whole thing has caused me financial hardship and my car insurance has doubled! Avoid at all costs and don't use any of the insurance companies they deal with”
“I didnt realise at the time but since complaining to the Solicitors Regulatory Authority they said that Direct line legal services were discriminatory towards me at the start of the claim for non fault RTA.
This firm is discriminatory and completely unethical. They wont help any one in any circumstance of any complaint as this would not be in their best interst. They have to be forced by a 3rd party. Any problem they cause you will be outcast and they will distance themselves and blame you.
Stay away. I wish i never tried to claim and regret the day i ever heard the name Karen Oliver who destroyed my case win, mental health and life in general completely changed.”
“Avoid this company at all costs they are truly awful, Communication is dreadful when you send a email it takes 4 to 6 weeks if you’re lucky to get any response they lose documentation and keep changing case handlers if I could I would score them -10”
“Had an injury rtc in which l was a passenger, both vehicles involved written off (other party admitted liability) utilised dlg legal services to recoup financial losses. Found this firm combative in approach, basically lacking in any sound advice or help. I would suggest that if you are sent any forms asking for your signature / settlement that you seek legal advice from another firm first, as l feel this firm do not provide an adequate service.”
“Almost 2 years of constant phone call in order to move my case along after being hit by a car causing an inability to move for many weeks together with weeks of Physiotherapy and constant pain I have received very poor compensation which I have struggled to get paid into my bank account. I have phoned on so many occasions and every time fobbed off with promises of a speedy response which never happened. Would not recommend them”

“Terrible company from start to finish. It took 6 years for a personal injury claim to get to court. On the day the barrister told us he was missing vital evidence and would struggle to make our case with what he had. Documents we had sent DLG had not been submitted to the court and basic evidence had not been collated by them. We have had to do all the chasing and they never return calls. Original court date had been adjourned 3 days before when DLG realised they had not prepared properly. 6 months later and they still hadn’t prepared.”
