“Ordered meats for our Christmas dinner and only half the order turned up (on 23rd December). I phoned customer services and they confirmed they were missing items so sent half the order (but didn't give us any advance warning so that we could save the Christmas dinner). There are so many online high quality butchers - just use another one and avoid risking your special event :)”

“Christmas box with turkey was supposed to arrive today . FEDX stated it would be delivered between 10am and 12.30 pm . After this time we were given a new time , before 6 pm , then a last one which stated before the end of the day . It is now 9.40pm and no sign. It has meant we have had to stay in all day and still concerned that it might not turn up or if it does WHAT STATE ?? Never had this problem before but it was never before delivered by FEDX.”

“Appalling service. I was supposed to get 20% discount as a new customer; didn’t happen. I lost count at the amount of times I tried ringing and ringing and then getting cut off. They do not answer emails either. Can’t comment on the meat as it hasn’t arrived!!!”

“Brussels sprouts with bacon, absolutely disgusting. Cooked as per instructions, they were burned. Not happy, won’t buy again. Can’t add photo coz I binned them 🤮”

“Russell failure!! Ordered food back in November for delivery today, the 23rd, only to be informed they don't deliver on a Saturday!! Excuse was website shouldn't have accepted delivery for that date. What a joke, they have had over a month and half to sort/rearragne. Got family coming for Xmas dinner, so wife has to head out and try buy some food from the shops!! Will never use Donald Russell again, a 'sorry about that' is not good enough. Seen another similar review, let's hope there is not more disappointed families this Xmas.”

“Up until now, I have been a big fan of Donald Russell. Great quality meat and good service. Now I am wondering if there is something seriously wrong with the company. I have been trying to contact them for over a week: Phone lines go unanswered emails have an automated reply, but no follow up, their messaging service is unresponsive and their live chat is dead. WHAT IS GOING ON? They have the wrong delivery address and I am not sure where my order will end up.”
