I’ve bought a few items from Dotmaison and most of the items were great. I returned one item because the colour didn’t match the online picture however I’m still awaiting the refund despite also paying for retort postage-hence 3 stars otherwise it would be 5 stars

i WANT TO BUY A LAMPSHADE OR FABRIC TO MAKE A LAMPSHADE AND ALL MY ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT YOU HAVE FAILED. YOU SEEM TO REQUIRE AN ORDER NO. BEFORE A QUERY WILL SEND. A FRUSTRATING AND IRRITATING EXPERIENCE. I'M NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER.

It's a beautiful bowl but too small for the purpose we bought it for. Your return policy was not clear and we would expect full refund. We would not expect to pay cost of postage to return it and get a refund.

Ordered Orla Kiely cushions. After I paid Dotmaison said it was going to take about 4 weeks for delivery. It was a shame they didn't say that under the item information. I decided however to wait and they kept me informed. I am a little disappointed as the cushions are quite flat and not very plump.

Item really lovely however paid for wrapping and what a waste of money! Cheap rubbish paper With something the should have resembled a bow! Don’t pay for gift wrapping

Ordered an item w gift wrap and speedy next day delivery but bc of Bank holidays I waited for longer although it was next day delivery when it took two working days to deliver. Also I wrote an email to you about where my order was and the customer services told me about it being a few holidays but that it would take two days to get to me after paying extra for next day delivery. The customer service person wasn’t rude but wrote in a rather cold and unfriendly manner imo.

I was so impressed with the speed of the delivery, how my products were packaged and delivered and the quality of the products received and I was certain I would order from dotmaison again. Until it came to returning an item. Not only did I have to pay for a return courier but I was then charged for the initial delivery because returning an item meant I no longer met the £50 spend threshold. So returning an item priced at £24.00 has cost me almost £10.00 to return. It's left a bad taste and completely changed my mind about reordering from you again.

The item was faulty. I contacted your customer and they were really helpful and asked me to send the item back for a refund. The only thing that I would improve is ypur return system since it charges £5,95 and I should be able to select faulty item with return for free. I was assured by your adviser I won’t get charged but I am still not 100% sure this is the case. I will find out once a return has been processed.

The product was great and the delivery times. The issue was with the actual delivery. The driver did not even help to put the box in the house so it was very difficult for me to unbox. If it wasn't for this...5 star.

Fast delivery however their returns policy of not opening the curtain packaging makes it very difficult to check them for any faults until I can actually put them up. As I'm still decorating that hasn't happened yet. A catch 22 situation! I'll have to update the review once they're up. So, the curtains are up. Whilst I like the design I am somewhat disappointed with the quality. I have had to add an extra layer of lining material as they let in so much light! - not something you'd expect from 'velvet' curtains.

I was unhappy with the returns process. I had ti pay £7.99 for each iten i was returning via DPD. And then the fountain centrepiece was so big no DPD shop would take it. You should really offer free returns ir at least an collection option for larger items. Buying from dotmaison was not worth the hassel.

Hi Andrea Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I can see that you placed two orders, and also proceeded to return items from both orders. As one item is relatively large & heavy, we would always advise opting for our DPD return label. The cost of this is £7.50, which is an exact reflection of what we ourselves are charged by the courier. In regards to your other order, a Royal Mail label would have been more than suitable for this. The cost of this is £3.90, and again, this is an exact reflection of what we ourselves are charged by the courier. We are able to organise a DPD collection on your behalf, but the cost of doing so is £10.00. Just to be clear, we do not profit from any of our shipping or return charges. Free returns are something that we would absolutely love to offer, but unfortunately, it simply isn't feasible for us to do so. We have taken your feedback on board and can only apologise if you are unhappy with our current returns process, we hope to continuously improve as we grow & move forward. I ordered a placemat for my new dining table, however, I wasn't expecting sooo much packaging! It was a bit O.T.T. for one item, and not very environmentally friendly. The service from Dotmaison was great, but I can only give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️ because of the excessive packaging.

Pleased with delivery have a good range of products Only giving 3 stars because of their returns policy. I placed an order or a bin 45 pounds had to return it as it wasnt going with furniture (Bin itself was good) they deduct good £9 pounds for I dont know delivery charges and some other charge if you return stuff less than £50. Iv never come across this. It was mentioned though in their policy I didnt read it beforehand. Just make sure what you need you will keep it. Other than that quality stuff

It looks like £3.50 was deducted from your refund as a Royal Mail return label was provided as per your request, a further £3.90 was then deducted as once the return had been processed, the total value of your order fell below the £50 threshold for free standard delivery.
