“I was really pleased to purchase the Berkenfield water filter system by Royal Daulton . Apart from looking so good in my kitchen after the initial filling up and clearing the filters which did seem to take quite a few hours initially, I’ve got used to it and it runs perfectly. I just tend to fill it up with a few litres of water every day and it just tastes fantastic when it comes out of that gorgeous tap that I purchased separately.. I’m really impressed with it ,the quality of the water after being filtered and have recommended it to friends already. Thank you so much for producing such a great product that actually really works!”

“I filled this and drank from it a total of four times. Then it fell out of my bag in a hotel room and the plastic lid shattered. So I put it in the bin. I wouldn't want another. Heavy, filter takes a lot of space, and the advice when I got it was to only use it for filtering potable treated tap water. I had looked for and not found details on the website for what it filters and assumed it was the same standard as their gravity filter. It's not. BTW the plastic lid is poor design. I am buying a gravity filter system from a competitor which comes with a metal spigot, as doulton's default is also a plastic one in their gravity filters. Not that impressed, marketing and price exceeds quality”

“Although the system is not very cheap, Doulton British Berkefeld has fast shipping and great service. The products feel very solid (both the Stainless Steel Gravity System and the Ultra Sterasyl Ceramic Filters). I have only had the system for a short time, but it feels like a very high quality product.”

“I purchased the gravity-fed drinking water and shower head filters as I have been increadingly concerned with the quality of water flowing out of our tap. I am also not convinced that systems incapsulated in plastic bodies [rovide ideal solution with plastics leaching into filtered water. Hence I was happy to discover stanless steel/ceramic filters with very limited plastic parts. The systems seems to work well. The smell which clearly is present in the upper chamber disappears in the lower chamber (past filters). My wife and 4yo daughter both say the water tastes better and my daughter indeed has taken to drinking more in the past few days - one happy dad here. I also contacted cuctomer services and am pleased that they responded in a prompt, professional and polite manner. Three areas for improvement perhaps: 1. replacing a plastic tap with stainless steel as standard would be welcome, 2. adding a way to check the water levels in both chambers without lifting them would be of benefit. 3. figuring out the way for water not to stay stagnant in the last one inch at the bottom of the upper chamber (it doesn't filter through). Time will show how the filters work long-term, but so far I am pleased with my purchases.”
