Followed instructions and watched several videos on how to do it. Silver car and the paint just won't stick to the chips. Tried the brush, the pipette, the squeegee, the glove method. Left it for 2-5 minutes, then 10 minutes. Made sure the surface was cleaned with isopropyl alcohol first as one video suggested. Gently removed excess when removing. Nothing works. Might be good for certain vehicle but for mine this was just a big spend for no gain. Considering my experience I'd say the videos are misleading.

I placed my order and paid for the goods. Having being told my order would arrive Shortly. However this is were it all went wrong. Order did not arrive so I chased it up numerous times after am month without a single response. Being concerned at the non response from them. as I had paid via Paypal I logged a dispute case with Paypal who sent them a message but they also got no responses after a month so Paypal closed the case and refunded me the money. Beware of this seller and avoid them at all costs. I have seen other people having the same issues.

Toyota blizzard pearl color match wasn’t even close. Looks better with the chips than with the “matched” paint. Disappointed I spent the money when paint pen from dealer would have been better. Wildly disappointed.

Don't bother using this with Mazda Machine Grey Metallic (46G code). The colour match is dreadful. A real waste of money. Ive used the product before and it works okay with solid colours like white and red. Its pretty useless with metallic paint finishes.

Not as easy as it looks or sounds on the YouTube video. Would be cheaper and same results to buy the paint bottle from the dealer. Does not cover the chips at all. Did exactly how directions say and results are bad. Should have left the chip the way it was. Do not recommend the product. Too much money and doesn’t do the job

Selected correct paint code. Paint arrived and was massively different to my car. Contacted Dr Colourchip who tried to blame it on my paint fading, but ultimately agreed to send another mix. No further contact was received. Contacted again after a month and after the 2nd attempt was told a replacement would be dispatched tomorrow. Still not received. No refund received. Absolute waste of time and money. Don't bother. I'm sure it's great when it works but when it doesn't they completely ignore you.

Ordered touch-up paint for a client's vehicle, and it wasn't even close. Tried in a few inconspicuous areas to test, and it was at least 4-5 shades darker than manufacturer suggested paint. Far too expensive, too. Never again.

Completely ruined my paint. Now having to spend a lot of money to correct the problem. System does not do what it says.

Terrible customer service! This is the third kit I have used now but unfortunately the paint match was horrendous, not even close I'm afraid. For a start it was supposed to be metallic and was clearly not in supplied product. Emailed customer service and got a pretty vague response and a lot of contradictory waffle. To date I have still not received a satisfactory response to this problem, been ongoing for nearly three weeks now, so I have returned the product awaiting full refund. In summary; product works well if they get the colour right. Just read the instructions and be patient. Customer service is a joke. Buy another system.

Did not work well at all, the paint would never fully cure and the color was way off. Wouldn’t recommend anyone use this, it is a complete waste of money.

Just get a paint pen. You'll save money and get the same result. Especially if you have a pearl White finish. This stuff is a joke.

I’d say it was useless, but that’s probably giving it too much credit.

I have an (pearlescent) Oryx White, MK7 Golf R and ordered the 'squirt and squeegee' kit for my car. The paint code I entered was The correct code, however when I applied the paint it was darker and a slightly greyer, darker hue in colour when compared to the paint on my car. Also when i applied the paint to the chip on the front valance of my car it was too watery and did not apply to the affected area (even after shaking the bottle several times). So I was unable to cover the chipped paint area with the touch up paint. I also found the squeegee to be too rubbery and it did not drag smoothly over the surface of my car meaning it did not apply the paint as expected (next to useless). I did follow the instructions to the letter and I did all the preparation as instructed to ensure there was no wax etc, on the car prior to application. All in I am disappointed that I have wasted a lot of money on a paint system which is suppose to be the next best thing to smart repair/other touch up paint systems. I have used Chipex in the past on my previous Oryx White Golf and I going my experience with both systems i can confirm the Chipex system does match the correct colour for Oryx White, but it does also require you apply 3x coats instead of 1x coat as Dr Colour Chip. As a side note I have ordered another kit of Chipex for my car to touch up the area of paint my Dr Colour Chip Kit was unable to touch up.

This product is no better than applying waterbased paint to a chip . In this case the repair was a flat red and so I was expecting a reasonable result. I certainly didn't feel that I could charge my customer for the repair, not for even the crazy price of the paint. Never again!

I paid £69-99 for the SQUIRT ‘N SQUEEGEE KIT and what I received was the £59-99 ROAD RASH REPAIR KIT ie. "NO SQUEEGEE". So in effect I was over charged by £10.
