“A more appropriate name would be Nightmare Travel. We have given them one star as we needed to to leave a review. We have had the worst possible customer service imaginable after our flights were cancelled in December 2021. Finally after countless emails and phone calls we contacted our credit card company who have arranged a refund for us seven months later. We believe they would not have refunded the money without us taking this step. Steer clear of Dreamworld Travel!”
“The company has ceased to trade and is going into liquidation. You can check this by going to the CAA ATOL website and looking under 'recent ATOL failures'
There will be no tickets issued and no refunds either. You must contact the card issuer that you used to pay for your flights without delay. If all else fails and you have an ATOL Certificate you may be able to claim against the CAA ATOL scheme, how to do that is on the front page of your Certificate but go to the card company first”

Dream World Travel is NOT a travel agency, they are a bunch of scammers. We booked our ticket to India in February (nearly 5 months ahead of our planned journey). Few days ago it had become increasingly clear (from our email transactions) that they didn’t book your ticket but rather blocked it tentatively only to send you an email (which is fairly standard as far as I gather from other reviews as well) that they were unsuccessful in securing your ticket with the airlines and will issue a refund – please bear in mind that this will take years to come through, and in majority of cases they won’t give you full refund. So simply put, they have an operating model; list tickets that are competitively priced so as to lure customers into booking with them. They then send you a confirmation for booking, however this is not the e-ticket. When you get closer to your travel date, you will panic and start to chase them for ticket, and they will send you standard/ templatised emails until couple of weeks before your travel promising that they will book your ticket. And later, they will apologise to say that your ticket hasn’t been booked and that you will receive a refund. They DO NOT have any intentions of booking your travel ticket, and even in instances where they have booked tickets it has never been straight forward to say the least. We are determined to take legal action against these scammers, and as a first step we are taking the matter to the small claims court.”

“The flights i booked to see my sons after a year and a half, were booked and paid for on the 10th February 2022 for flights leaving London to South Africa on the 17th July 2022 and returning 28th August 2022.
Dream World Travel never made the bookings with the airlines concerned. Upon phoning the airlines on the 17th July 2022 for seat bookings we were advised that the booking was never paid for or confirmed by Dream World Travel – even though attached confirmation emails and tax invoices were received – see attachments.

Stay away from Dream World Travel. I booked my tickets with DWT last Sunday, they send me the reservation code done with LATAM and everything seemed fine. 3 days later LATAM messaged me saying the payment has not been done by DWT and my tickets have been cancelled.
DWT does not answer phone calls nor WhatsApp. Agents via DWT chat says I'll get my tickets 10 days prior to the flight which is completely "BS". I've booked tickets with other agencies and tickets are issued a few minutes after your purchase.
They only respond via Chat and when I raised this issue they say customer centre will contact me and nothing happens. Now I am struggling to get a refund. My bank is trying to raise a dispute and I hope I get my money back.
To sum up, do not be stupid like me. Read the reviews first before purchasing tickets via agencies.”
“They are a nightmare once you purchase the ticket the relationship is over, i lost a loved one despite efforts to contact them in a bid to bring the travelling dates closer to no avail, greedy and selfish travelling agency and their business is not straightforward and unable to get hold of despite numerous telephone calls, once you pay they disappear. They are the worst and added to my grief, i called, emailed, tried their wattsup etc. the worst experience ever, go directly to the airline, never again and they don’t care, no customer services at all, nice when taking your money but thats it. “Bought flexible tickets and tried to call on numerous occasions for date change but no one picking up the phone, left a lot of voice messages, no call back. I sent several emails, no response, completed a Date change request form online, again no response. It is now more then 3 weeks, dealing with such kind of a company you will be doing it at your own peril. Very uncaring and can’t believe operate in hospitality industry and are a member of Atol and other organisation. This company is a colossal joke”
“Avoid at all costs. Flights cancelled due to Covid and Refund requested. I received an email to say that they had been in touch with the airline regarding the cancellation request but after contacting the airline they confirmed that DWT had not contacted them and that my ticket was still Open/Active.
When chasing I have had a number of Customer Care Officer's refer me to the information in the T&C's > Section 10 which says "in some extra-ordinary circumstances up to six months". It has now been nearly 2 years.
DWT can't be trusted.”
