“I have used duty free crystal for several years and have always found the experience to be very good. the only slight drawback on my latest transaction was that the basket option wasn't working so I had to make 2 separate purchases.”

“Duty Free offer branded products at good prices and most people will be happy using them. However should something go wrong then they are a nightmare to deal with. Royal Mail failed to deliver my item, Duty Free's final response was "our obligation has been honoured. The grievance will now lay with Royal Mail, and not ourselves." But as Duty Free has the contract with the carrier only they can claim compensation, not the buyer. Also the Consumer Rights Act 2015 clearly states that the goods remain at the traders risk until they come into the physical possession of the consumer. However since Duty Free are based in Guernsey and they state in their T&C's that all sales are subject to Guernsey law I am unsure as to whether this law has been enacted there or what consumer protection is even offered. So if you wish to take the risk of dealing with Duty Free I would strongly advise using either a Credit Card (if over £100) so if something goes wrong you can get a refund from them instead or alternatively Paypal who reimburse you if your order does not arrive or match the description. Fortunately I had used Paypal and received a full refund. So buyer beware.”

“Duty Free Crystal cannot be faulted fortheir service, but for the very first time we ar very disappointed with a swarovski product. The memories watch we received is of a poor quality. The watch is not centralised on the strap, thereby causing the alcantara strap to show itself and the crystals not close to the watch on one edge. Also the advert for the watch does not tell you that the strap is non adjustable and has to be professionally cut and shortened, with no room for error. From a distance though the appearance of the watch is beautiful. Annette Steven”

“I purchased the 2016 Christmas bauble from Duty Free Crystal as a gift. The bauble was faulty and smashed. Customer service awful. No responce to my emails? Disgraceful!!”

On the contrary, all emails were responded in good time. It transpires the item arrived in perfect condition, and only when the customer took it from the box it smashed!!

“Could not have asked for better service. My grandson was born on the 22nd December, the item was out of stock on the website so I rang, I was advised it was in stock and the site would be adjusted.
