Terrific combination of dinosaurs and birds. Guides extremely knowledgeable on both. Very personable. Itinerary flowed well. Terrific views of the birds, obtained most targets! Paying for our dinners separately a pain, include in one price.

The Netherlands & Belgium: Birds, Art & Architecture May 2017 was a very enjoyable tour. Our Guide was professional, very knowledgeable, patient and fun. Our small group allowed a degree of flexibility during the days which was nice. The itinerary was outstanding. We saw so much of Holland which you wouldn't normally see going on your own. The birding was excellent. It would have been nice to have the Art and Architecture aspect a bit better incorporated as we were left mostly to discover that on our own while in cities, towns or museums/galleries. Having said that, I really enjoyed being able to see what we did during the tour. It was a really nice combination. The hotels we stayed in were very good and well located near towns/cities. The breakfasts were very good that each hotel provided. Our lunch stops were in towns during the day and it was nice to go to something a little different each time. Dinner was mainly in the hotel dining rooms which were very good. We had a couple of dinners out. A couple of comments - 1) although tricky, the guide should be firm about seat rotation in the van. If a client is booking a road tour they should clearly understand that they will have to move around to be fair to all the participants. 2) the guide shouldn't have to manage a food budget in front of the clients. The tour should be priced to include the costs. Most tours don't include lunch so perhaps this could be eliminated so the food budget won't be exceeded. No one on our tour would have objected. Overall a very enjoyable time and a great way to see this part of the world and the birds. Thank you Eagle Eye.

The tour was well organized with excellent food and accommodations with first rate guides and a comfortable bus with an excellent driver. We covered every altitude from Crocodile infested mangroves through middle altitudes of rainforest to dryer rain shadows and up to the highest forests in central Costa rica.Covering all Costa Rican ecosystems gave us exposure to the maximum amount of birds. We counted well over 300 species, our guide was remarkable at finding and Identifying birds as well as the fauna and plants.I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone seriously interested in birding.

I went on the 2016 "Into the NorthWest Passage" trip. All pre-trip organising by Eagle-Eye Tours was smooth and efficient, with the friendliest of staff. As Eagle Eye Tours is a small family-run company, I felt like I was part of them when we were on the Ocean Adventure ship. Eagle-Eye owners, with their children, were in the zodiac with me when we were surrounded by 50 belugas! A once in a lifetime experience!

My wife and I have been birding with Eagle-Eye for almost ten years, visiting several countries in Central and South America, and southern India and Sri Lanka, and will be returning to Costa Rica this February. We have come to know several of their guides, and they are all professional and helpful. I have problems with my vision, and they are invariably patient with me while I try toI locate the bird. They know the birds well, and usually employ local guides as well as their own. We will continue to travel with them as long as we can.

I enjoyed every minute of my trip to Baffin Island floe edge with Eagle-Eye Tours. I think back about my trip with awe and disbelief.

I've been to Hawaii, Trinidad/Tobago, Cuba, Point Pele, and many other places with Eagle-Eye Tours, and they are always good. The organization of the tour is tight, the guides know their stuff, everything works. It's aimed at mid-range birders, not twitchers and not newbies, although these always show up and they are accommodated, very well. The guides offer more than most people want (or have the stamina for), such as pre-dawn bird walks, full days, and owling/night walks. Obviously you do what you want. The only downside, as of all tours, is occasionally another guest can be a problem. I've only had that once, and it got dealt with appropriately.

Birds of Costa Rica with two incredible guides. Great birds, great accommodation, great transportation and a trip diary at the end with daily highlights and sightings. Can't imagine anything better.

Kudos to everyone involved for making the organization and completion of the tour completely painless. Consumer satisfaction seemed to be a high priority with everyone involved.

I joined this tour last minute, and Sheryl at Adventure Canada went out of her way to get me on the trip - the last airline sea had just been given back to Air North :( But it worked, my additional day in Pond Inlet turned out to be an additional night in Iqaluit, but we all arrived in Pond Inlet on the same day so that went well. People were great, the itinerary was great, and the trip greatly exceeded my expectations. So glad we saw Narwhals for a brief time one day, but Bowheads abounded each day and they were magificent, along with some excellent views of polar bears. My only concern about this trip is that it will be more popular each year, and disposal of human waste is a major concern. Can't keep dumping it in the sea! Also permits to kill 65 polar bears each season, but I know that's out of your hands. Thanks to Cam for letting me know about the Narwhal hunting ahead of time too. I have recommended this trip to several of my friends ..... hope you get to meet them!

In exotic locations, the combination of Eagle-Eye's professional guides and local, in-country expertise pays off in immensely successful and enjoyable tours.

We've gone on two birding tours with Eagle-eye, one to Florida and the other a combined tour of gardens and birds, in the southern part of England. Both were a lot of fun (particularly the latter, which I hadn't expected), run by friendly and knowledgeable people. Accommodations were generally good to excellent (4 or 5 star), although one night I would say was only 3 out of 5 star. Quality service from both the guides and the office staff.

I have travelled with Eagle-Eye 4 or 5 times. Their leaders have been excellent. I like the fact that they are not too hard core but are intent on finding the rarities. I have never had a bad experience or witnessed any disturbing situations when traveling with them.

This tour was excellent. We had snowy weather to deal with but it all went smoothly. The pace was relaxed, individual requests were accommodated. A short and sweet birding trip.

Two major holidays offered by Eagle-Eye in coordination with Adventure Canada (2014 Out of the Northwest Passage; 2015 Ecuador-Birding the Andes / Galapagos Islands / Peru: Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu), certainly broadened my horizons. The companies provide advance information on assessing one's own physical capabilities to handle the demands of the tours. Experienced tour leaders are supported by an impressive group of articulate, personable experts in a wide variety of fields: historians, geologists, culturalists, marine biologists, naturalists, ornithologists, archaeologists, artists, photographers, authors. These give classes and are available for further conversations at table, on deck, on shore trips. Any walking tours ashore, led by two+ (local) guides, allow walkers to self-divide into "slow", "fast", and sometimes even "medium" walkers ... particularly important when climbing steep uneven terrain at high altitude (Machu Picchu), manoeuvering cobble-stoned streets at 11,000+ feet (Cusco), or heading off across tundra at 30 feet alt. (Jenny Lind Island). Beyond wonderful memories, the tours have created a lasting interest in and concern for the well-being of the places, the creatures, and the people of these lands.

For our England tour an erupting Icelandic volcano made for following plans very tricky. But even under these trying circumstances every effort was made to give us a fine experience. Only my wife and I managed to make the tour. One guide dispatched from Shetland managed to get to London albeit a late in the first day and the other two guides from Alberta about a week later. Two of us and three guides - it was great! Lots of birds, exeptional gardens, excellent guides, generally good accommodation and food. We have been on several other Eagle Eye tours and are booked for Cuba February 2017. Obviously we regard the company highly.

I really enjoyed our trip leaders: great communicators, made sure everyone got to see the birds and created great camaraderie within our group.
