"The offer displayed was different when I went to the details. I got an offer for USD 89 with full coverage included but then when I went to the check out page, the coverage was added to the initial offer. \r\nIt has to be clear since the begenning to have a great user experience."

"I had reservation B72086378 made for car in Europe through Economy Booking (Booking Group) and purchased full coverage from Booking just in case. The actual rental company Wheego (which is another scam) tried to sell me additional auto insurance. I said I already purchased full coverage through Booking, they said it does not matter to them, it has to be purchased through them. I declined it. Upon vehicle return, 3am, they found 2 tiny paint chips and charged me $700 for repainting 2 doors. Next day I filed a claim with Booking (not an easy task with this place), having their full coverage, provided all required documentation, hoping for a refund of the charges. First they said it will take 30days, after 30 days they said it will take 60 days to review. After 60 days nobody will return emails, good luck trying to call them and talk to a person. DO NOT USE THEM. THIS IS A SCAM"

"Contrate el FULL COVERAGE, para una reserva de veh\u00edculo en el aeropuerto de Bariloche, y desde el 17 octubre que presente la documentaci\u00f3n para el reembolso de los da\u00f1os ocasionados en un aparcamiento al veh\u00edculo, pagados a la empresa de alquiler, sigo sin recibir dicho reembolso, ni tener informaci\u00f3n de como est\u00e1 el proceso. Con fecha 28.11, despues de varias reclamaciones, y Fullcoverage, me solicito nuevamente los extractos de la cuenta y de la tarjeta de cr\u00e9dito donde se reflejaran los pagos de la reserva y de la franquicia, que fueron nuevamente remitidos en esa fecha, sin tener ninguna otra noticia del reembolso."

"THEY SCAMMED ME FOR AUD 591.92 ON SEPTEMBER 26\r\n\r\nWe booked an SUV on the EconomyBookings website, where it was clearly stated that the car came with \u201cunlimited kilometers\u201d (I have screenshots to prove this). However, when we arrived at the airport to pick up the car, Europcar informed us that they had received different information, stating that the car was limited to 100 km per day according to their system\u2014completely different from what was agreed upon on the EconomyBookings reservation. So, we decided to cancel the reservation as it was only logical.\r\n\r\nAfter about 20 attempts, we finally reached EconomyBookings by phone to resolve the issue and request a refund. The representative told us she could NOT help and that we needed to submit a complaint via email, which I did the SAME DAY.\r\n\r\nWe received an email saying we would get a response within 10 business days. Two and a half weeks later, there was still no response, and their phone number was unreachable. OVER A MONTH LATER, STILL NO RESPONSE. I then set aside a morning to try calling them again. I finally reached someone who told me they STILL COULD NOT HELP, to which I insisted they escalate the matter to the responsible team, warning that if there was no response within a few days, I would file a complaint.\r\n\r\nFinally, I received an email on Monday, October 28\u2014what a message! A certain Kerry from EconomyBookings informed me that they would not issue a refund, claiming they were \u201cnot informed of my inability to pick up the vehicle\u201d?? This is probably the biggest joke I\u2019ve ever heard!\r\n\r\nKerry even sent this email in response to the very email I sent on September 26! How could they possibly say they weren\u2019t informed? I replied to this email, providing all phone records and screenshots showing I had emailed them on the SAME DAY AS THE RESERVATION.\r\n\r\nStill today, two weeks after Kerry\u2019s email, I have received NO RESPONSE.\r\n\r\nI have no choice but to alert the ACCC, file a complaint with Europcar, and consider filing a complaint with the police as well.\r\n\r\nDO NOT USE ECONOMYBOOKINGS.\r\n\r\nTheo W\r\nBooking Number: B98659374"

"Be very careful about their cancellation policy!\r\nThey advertise a free within 1hr of booking cancellation however I learned 2 ways they take your money anyway!\r\n\r\n1- they do not give your money back, they only give you an e wallet credit, which you need to register for!\r\n\r\n2- you cannot update the booking if your schedule changes. When I called to make changes I was told to cancel my booking via the app and rebook according to my need plans.\r\nI did this but this uses your \u201cfree 1hr cancellation\u201d you cannot cancel again or they make you pay twice!\r\n\r\n\r\nCompletely and whole heartedly disappointed that I ever got to know economy bookings. I will wait till I get to the airport to book my vehicle rental because that will always be cheaper then paying twice!"
