At the begining I had credit balance 112$. Before The price stayed the same after I used the credit.

When I arrived, there was no car available. This was the day before my wedding, leaving me no option but to book elsewhere at roughly three times the cost. It has now been four months and I still have not received a refund, nor any meaningful response despite repeated attempts to contact them. Being left stranded is bad enough, but ignoring a customer for months afterwards is unacceptable. If reliability or customer service matters to you, I would strongly suggest booking elsewhere.

Well for Starters you cancelled my booking sent me an Email and I need the car, I wouldn't have booked it otherwise. and now I dont have the car that I needed, So I book another which is cheaper and you Charge me another $294 when the E-Wallet had enough Cash. You should have sent me an SMS because calling from some random Number I will probably Ignore due to Scammers and fraudulent calls you could have sent me an SMS saying please contact us, Also what Company do I get the car from Some one Please call me immediately so I can find out the rental company and also credit me back or discuss payments currently paid around $2800 for a car that I should be paying $1500 for

Terrible service, the pick up location was far from my landing airport, when we reached the rental company they refused to release the vehicle even though we agreed to upgrade the insurance to fully comprehensive. That was all fine now that we're asking for a refund for service promised but not rendered, we're asked a million questions and no sign of a refund and it's almost a month now since we informed them the services we not rendered even the rental company confirmed in their service that they did not render the service. Pathetic service. it looks like the company is using us to give them interest free finds. I'm still waiting to get my refund.

I booked a car and added full coverage through Economy Bookings. When I arrived at rental company they wanted an additional insurance amount (2 times my car rental plus full coverage) before I could take the car. I did not take the car as my contract specified I had paid for FULL COVERAGE. I have requested a refund from Economy Bookings but they have declined (I have written and spoken to 5 individuals) It is all in the hidden print within the contract. e.g. Full Coverage is really not insurance it is just a fee that says Economy Bookings will pay for damages if the rental company insurance doesnt pay so guess what you are paying twice for same thing but receiving "zip". Not a very honest company.

I booked a car through Economybookings for my stay in Malta, with a guaranteed “Toyota Aygo or similar”. Upon arrival, no car was available at all — not the booked model, not a similar one, nothing. The rental office even had me sign an official form confirming that they had no cars left, meaning the service I paid for was simply not delivered. Despite this clear proof, I’ve been trying for over a month to get my money back. Their so-called “investigation” ignores all facts, and their responses are generic and completely disconnected from reality. There was no car, no contract, no services, and absolutely no justification for keeping my payment. It is shocking that a company chooses to avoid responsibility even with official evidence. My advice: do not book here if you expect reliability or fair treatment when something goes wrong.

Because of a small booking error which cost Booking Group nothing, they chose to keep my full payment without any cost to your company other than a small booking fee. I paid for a car for 6 days and was one day late, so was denied 5 days paid booking for no other reason than greed. Don't use this service, they are unethical

Said full refund if cancelled more than 48 hours before pick up. I cancelled and they gave me a credit and took $35 off the refund. Major scam.

placed an order for a car that was available, made payment 2 hours later i get an email to say my order is cancelled as the car is not available! very poor service in my opinion!

Has to be the worst company to work with. I booked a car for my stay in Colombia. When I got to the car rental place, they had no cars available for me. I had to go to another rental company and waste 2 hours waiting for a car. After my trip I tried working with Booking Group on a refund and they took forever to get back to me just to deny my claim. Just sent me some templated excuse. They didn't even look into the matter. Will never use them again.

You could not adjust a pending hire so you had to cancel it and then could not give me the same price as I had before 3 hours on and off phone with no satisfaction. see my original price attached my new booking is not the same cost.

I had a reservation. I realised that I only had 1 hour to pick the car - I think it is very little time . Since there may be flights delays I got worried and I asked by email if they could move my pick up time 1.5 hour later. They told me I had to cancel my booking and book again (modifying my reservation would have been much easier). That I would get an electronic refund that I could apply to my new booking. I went through all of the procedure. In the original reservation they had only charged me a part of the total amount (the rest to be paid at pick up). In the new reservation they required me to pay the full cost. Supposedly minus the 69 euros they had charged in the original reserve. Leading to a total of 105 euros. I attach a screenshot. However, the confirmation from my bank asked for the total amount of 175. I have accepted it. It is late at night and I have lost 1 hour in all of this bureaucracy. Let's see what happens tomorrow else I will have to complain with my bank.

Warning! No support if problems show up. In fall of 2024, I booked two rental cars with Economy Bookings in the USA and Canada. The first booking went smoothly, but the second time in the USA, the rental company didn't have the booked vehicle type available (even though it had been confirmed by Economy Bookings just three days prior). I therefore had to book with another rental company at short notice. Regarding the refund of the entire booking cost, which they had previously promised over the phone, the rental company (Budget) referred me to Economy Bookings, as the payment had been processed through them. All attempts to obtain a refund from Economy Bookings were repeatedly met with a three-stage automated stalling process (Did you have any problems? - We're sorry, what was the problem? - Please send the following documents - Silence). Even direct emails were ignored. Conclusion: A total loss for me, and I will never use Economy Bookings again; I will only book directly with the rental companies.
