“My application was to put a 1" hole in a brick fire pit to support a gas key. Purchased the dry 1" core drill bit over the wet. I needed to drill through 5.5" of two brick types. I was disappointed in the center drill in that it did not cut well and even came out of the holder. Regardless though, the core came out perfectly. Note that I am a DIY.”
“Works like a charm!
For the novice like me do not use the drill without its stand. The drill must be secured by bolting it down, if you are drilling sideways, or you will have bruised hands at best or broken hand at worse.”
“One of the very best tool companies I ever worked with. even though you’re 3000 miles away in California I had tools the next day for jobs being done here in Florida.
excellent company and I will be doing more business with you.”
“These diamond polishing pads are sweet. Tried other, more readily purchasable options first and that was a mistake. Should have just got these as the delivery was prompt and the pads work amazing. Wet sanding concrete is the only way to go and these pads last. I got 5 of the 50 grit as I thought I would be chewing through them but am still on the first one! Will have make some more concrete tops now.”
“Project: 4 holes in block wall for 2" schedule 40 pipe. Tools were delivered on time, worked well, were in fine shape after task was complete. I highly recommend using ediamond tools as the source for masonry and tile needs”
“This is my first boring drill bit, used to drill in river rocks to make candle holders.
I've drilled into 8 rocks about .75 inches at this point and it still cuts reasonably fast but I've noticed the arbor bit is getting dull so I use a different bit for my pilot hole.”
“Water swivel adapter. I have used water cooled equipment before and the design of this adapter is quite poor. There is no seal at either the point of attachment to a grinder not is there any seal around the shaft to limit water egress to the tip and into the center of the core where it is intended to go. Since there is no seal, water actually flows through the bearings. Somehow I have doubts these bearings are made for water contact. Furthermore, the bearings are welded into place which likely distorts the raceways which will inevitably lead to early failure and, since they're welded into place there is no replacing them. Essentially this item is not a professional grade piece of equipment.”
“Used the 7" cup wheel S seg to remove texture around pool deck coping edge. Worked great!! better than any concrete cup wheel ive gotten from lowes or homedepot by far!! Still lots of life left on it. Great product.”
“Thank you for your quick shipping. Unfortunately because of the cold, I did not get to use them until recently but when I did they worked great. Very thick pads that beat anything I have had in the past. You will be the one on my wish list in the future.”
“The 2" core drill did the job, with considerable difficulty. The "body" (the red tube) had a great tendency to rub against the cored hole, as the core drill & drill gun were difficult to hold in exactly the perpendicular plains. This produced considerable chatter, making cutting progress more difficult, and greatly increasing the operator workload.
Solution-reduce the "tube" diameter slightly (.062?), thus reducing the tendency for the tube to drag in the cored bore.
EDiamond Tools did an excellent job with customer service with helpful, knowledgeable staff and very timely shipping. Ya done good! :)”
