“A nice little house on a fairly quiet side street, very close to the pubs and restaurants of Leith. There is a newsagent and a small Sainsbury's about one minute's walk from the flat. A bit of a way into the centre of Edingburgh but it is walkable and there are lots of busses.
The flat is very nice (we were only the second people to stay so everything was new) and the owners (who live next door) are very helpful.”
“I loved this quirky little flat and its location, very quiet and beautifully appointed. So near to many wonderful places to eat. Loved Bibi's Bakehouse. The owners were delightful and had got me the Edinburgh property paper as they knew I was looking for a new home in the city which I purused while drinking the wine they left.”
“The location could not have been better as the flat is within easy walking distance and on a good bus route into Edinburgh. A bus stop near to go to see the Royal Yacht, well worth a visit. Also near to the Water of Leith wehad a beautiful walk to the Modern Art Gallery. We could not have asked for more. the flat was very clean,beautifully presented, has great views north over the city and we recived a very good welcoming basket. We really felt that the owner cared for the place.”

Gordon and Nikkie were very welcoming - as reflected in the great welcome pack! - and the flat itself has everything you need. Pictures don't do it justice as rooms much bigger than they look so plenty of space to relax once you've exhausted all that is (largely) on your doorstep.”
“This is a lovely flat. Plenty of room for 4 people, clean and well equipped. Really excellent views and in a prime location for sight-seeing. Brian (the owner) was very welcoming. The only down side is that, although not on the main road, there is traffic noise at night, which bothered me, but not my husband (take ear plugs!). Would stay again though as everything else is brilliant. Thanks!”
“Commodiuous and well equiped flat with a great view across the meadows and Arthus's seat, the two bathrooms are comfortable, small supermarket and Cafe really nearby, only a short walk into the city

“Was very impressed with the flat was central to everywhere wanted to go. Was not to noisy. it is in a nice part of edinburgh. would recommend to anyone to stay in the flat. only down part is the bathroom with the toliet but all in all worth it.”
“The house is beautiful, a little disappointed in the amount of dust on floors and skirting boards and other surfaces. We loved the neighbours and our daughters wedding was fantastic. Would recommend the house, but suggest it could do with a full clean”
“Our party consisted of 4 adults and 2 children. Space was good. Furnishings comfortable. Some new crockery and glasses are needed as many items are chipped - maybe I'm just fussy! Towels and linen were supplied and these were all OK. Just be aware there are quite a few stairs but we didn't find this a problem. The owner's daughter met us with the keys, a very pleasant girl.”

“The location of this flat cannot be sniffed at as it is right next to the castle so near most of the major tourist attractions and the mainline rail station. We were greeted very kindly and shown around the flat. The double bed was very comfortable and there was constant hot water which was great. The flat itself in some parts needs freshening-up as the decor is a bit tired, but apart from that it was all good. Lovely to stay in such a historic building.”
