“This flat was excellent for our stay in Edinburgh in December, even though the snow was bad we only had a short walk to the town centre and got around easily. Very clean and warm with easy access only on the first floor so not too many stairs to go up.”

“I have never stayed in such a beautiful, well thought out cosy apartment. Evelyn gave us such a warm welcome. Met us outside - showed me around, chocolates on the bed - wine in the fridge - milk tea coffe biscuits etc. Just fantastic. Taking the food and drink to oneside :o) I could not have changed 1 single thing. I really wanted to live there. Just beautiful. We stayed for the Hogmany. Could NOT get a better situated apartment!!!! you only walked for 5 minutes and you were there. Just off Princes Street. Parking out on the street.
When I return to Edinburgh for my stay.... without question I will be going back. Really looking forward to staying there again. Home form Home.

“Really enjoyed staying at Abbey Lane. The Flats were well positioned being near to a shopping arcade so easy to get any supplies needed. The flat was clean, spacious and well maintained and the owners of the flat were very welcoming and helpful. “We stayed here for five nights over Christmas and it couldn't have been better. Lee phoned us up on Christmas Eve, the day of our journey, to warn us about supermarket early closing times and as our train was delayed even came to meet us at the station. Couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming. We were very impressed with flat; it was spacious yet cosy, even though it was freezing outside, and had everything we needed and more. It's right in the middle of the Old Town so we could easily walk everywhere, and we were spoilt for choice when it came to eating out. Fantastic location for somebody interested in Scottish history like me.
I can thorougly recommend this flat and would love to stay there again.”

“When my in-laws came for a visit from Canada, my husband and I wanted to take them to Edinburgh for a couple of days to play tourist. The Grassmarket flat was perfect for our group of 5 adults. My in-laws loved the flat, especially all of its period features and charm. The flat was very clean and well stocked with all the essentials (linens, towels, kitchen items). The location was perfect for exploring the city and had lovely views of the Grassmarket area and castle. The only difficulty one might find is that the spiral staircase leading up to the flat could be difficult for people with mobility issues or young children. However, I was 7 months pregnant at the time and managed just fine! Finally, the price was extremely affordable for the location and quality of the flat, especially when compared to having to book 3 hotel rooms! Would be very happy to book here again in the future.”

“After staying 2 nights in the comfort of this excellent flat, I find myself struggling to find a bad word to say about it. Its excellent central location on Grassmarket means it is within easy reach of all of Edinburghs finest attractions. In addition to this, it boasts wonderful views of the castle and Grassmarket as well as being very spacious and catering to our every need. I would definitely recommend this flat to any small family or couple looking to explore Edinburgh and look forward to staying again in the future.”
“Just returned from a brilliant weekend in Edinburgh. The apartment was lovely and spacious, there were 4 of us staying and it was more than comfortable for us. Excellent location for pubs, restuarants and sight seeing. One of the tour buses stops only a couple of minues walk from the apartment so really easy access.
Loved everything about it (didnt want to leave) and will ceratinly be returning to it!”
“Spent a 2 night stay at this lovely centrally located apartment. All amenities on your doorstep. The description was very accurate. We felt really at home as soon as we walked it. It was well heated for our arrival and the owner was very flexible with arrival and departure times. Great value for money. Far superior to a hotel room. Plenty of fluffy towels, hot water even toiletries and a welcome breakfast basket. Cannot fault this apartment in any way. We will be keeping the details of this property on file for future breaks.”
“This flat is perfect for a stay in Edinburgh as it is centrally located and takes on 10 minutes or so to get to the Royal Mile when walking. The area of Stockbridge is quiet at night and lively during the day which was perfect for us.
Edinburgh is a lovely city and staying somewhere so conveniantly situated meant we could get the most out of our stay, we will definitely come back!”
