“The views from this flat aren't just great, they are stunning! I enjoyed sunrise over the Firth each morning and the twinkling of Leith in the evenings. Free Leith parking is such a bonus...we've lived in Edinburgh and now we visit regularly. No hassle with parking meters is well worth it. Location was perfect and bus links are amazing. I won't be tempted to stay anywhere else in the future.”
“We (2 adults 2 kids)had a very enjoyable stay at this flat. It was ideally located for sight seeing in the city - very managable to walk to castle, royal mile, princes street etc. Nice atmosphere in the immediate locality including the university and park; also handy to have local store and cafe. Great view from the lounge, comfortable living space and bedrooms. All the facilities in the flat were in good order. Overall we we had a very satisfactory stay.”
“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Iona Street. It was an easy walk from the flat to Holyrood, Princess Street and all attractions. The flat was clean and simply furnished with everything needed for a city break. If you were planning to 'eat in' a lot, then you might find eating off the coffee table rather uncomfortable. A welcome pack is provided.”
“We enjoyed our stay at the wonderfully situates flat.
Rose street is very busy but there was no outside noise because of the double glasing. However there were some disturbances from the flat upstairs.
We were short of wine glasses but after contacting central office, they were delivered quickly.
We would recommend the apartment.”
“This is the second time we have stayed here, the location is perfect – minutes walk to a large number of pubs and restaurants, with princess street an easy stroll away. The accommodation is warm and comfortable – we slept better here than at home!
We will defiantly be back to use the flat again.”
“My family and i booked this apartment for a wedding which was happening in Edinburgh, i didn't know much about the area but i was very luckey, this apartment was comfortable in an incredible location and had a view of the castle!!! I will definitely be returning!!”
“The Hunter Apartment was just what we were looking for - we were travelling with our toddler so ideally wanted a separate room for her - more difficult and costly to organise in a hotel. The apartment is well equipped, nicely furnished and in a great location. The parking was an excellent bonus and we appreciated the welcome pack from the owner. We have already recommended it to friends and would look to revisit next time we are in Edinburgh.”
“Hey! A group of us recently stayed in this 3 bed apartment on Rose St & it was a very comfortable. The place had everything we needed & was in a perfect location with castle views!!
The only drawback was that the shower in the main bathroom had 2 temperatures - boiling & freezing & this couldn't be controlled. Apart from that, we all enjoyed our stay, the washing machine, ipod dock & iconic creaking timber floor boards.
Would surely stay again!
Thanks”
“Comfortable flat in a pleasant area.We were made welcome by the owner. Had everything we needed(except a microwave),and was clean and well kept.
Although it is a few miles from the city centre this did not cause us any issues as there is a good bus service just up the road. Local shops were, however, a bit of a walk away.”
“We enjoyed our stay very much. The flat is nicely furnished and well positioned for restaurants, shops, buses and the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Parking is no problem. There are two repairs mentioned by previous occupants that do need fixing: the main oven overheats immediately and is unusable, it will incinerate anything very quickly and set off the smoke alarm. The faulty light fitting in the dining/siting room tripped the whole lighting circuit on one occasion - trip switch in cupboard but not easily found in the dark!”
“Me and my sister stayed on this flat for 6 nights. It is very central, private and a really good price. Has everything you need !! Also i had very good reception on my arrival. The stairs even bother me... was a good exercise. Thanks .”
“This is a nice flat that was good for getting to the Royal Mile, Holyrood and Arthurs Seat. The flat is a good size, well maintained and very clean. It has a great shower in the ensuite and a nice open plan living/kitchen area.
The down side is that it is very difficult to sit at the breakfast bar and eat a meal. We also had noisy neighbours which may not be a problem if you are staying in Edinburgh for the night life but we were with our toddler daughter and we were woken at 4am up due to the noise from above.”
“A nice flat, quiet, clean and well furbished. It is in minutes walking distance from the city centre and at the same allowing excellent acces to Stockbridge area.
I recomend this flat and If in Edinburgh It would be among my first choices for accomodation.”
“Perfect apartment and lovely owners- everything we needed as well as being full of character. Great location- just a short walk from the city centre. Very clean and well presented all round. Only downsides were not being able to run both showers at the same time, and the fact that the wireless internet signal in the building did not reach our apartment. Also we could hear almost every footstep and more from upstairs which stopped us from sleeping a couple of nights. This didn't spoil our stay overall however and would recommend this apartment and may even use again!”
“very central, cosy, everything´s in there you need, very practical.... new supermarket around the corner. very nice landlady cares about every problem quickly! only sometimes a bit loud in the morning with deliveries. but we loved it!!”
“Really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable and warm flat, great location for seeing Edinburgh. Also appreciated being welcomed by the owner and his helpful advice.”
“A very central location beneath the castle. Good access to all attractions including pubs and cafes at night within walking distance. The flat itself has everything you need though the cooker could do with a good clean and some TLC.
Parking in the day time is an issue though for a few days it can be overcome. We parked out at Murrayfield and walked in and out.
All in all Edinburgh is a great city and your flat allowed us to enjoy our experience.
Thanks very much.”
“What a fantastic little flat! Cute, warm and cosy. It's small but perfect for 2 people and a great price The only thing it lacked was a dining table for self caterers. We really enjoyed our stay at the flat and it's location in the Old Town was perfect! Would highly recommend to couples visiting Edinburgh.”
“Young people everywhere - just great! Coffee shop downstairs, Sainsburys on our doorstep and the National Museum of Scotland only a stone's throw away. Flat is clean and has everything you need. Our kids loved it.”
