We had a wonderful stay at this flat which had all of the conveniences that one could wish for when taking a break in Edinburgh. The closeness of Princess street & Arthurs seat meant that one could choose the kind of short break that one wanted; hitting the bar & restaurant filled high streets or enjoying the breathtaking view from the top of Arthurs seat. Angie was always available to answer any questions & sort out any problems. This flat was a perfect base for exploring the Edinburgh fringe as well as the surrounding areas. If I had one complaint (& it’s not even a complaint really) it would be that I couldn’t get the WiFi working, but this was not such a big deal.

Thank you for providing two bedroom house in Edinburgh. We enjoyed the great city and the festival. Short walk to the house from the bus stop for Airlink coach from the Airport. Close to the banks, shops, resturants and buses. Landlord are friendly and helpful

The flat is well equipped and we had everything we needed for a four night 'Fringe' stay (we were not in a great deal!) The central location was a big plus. There were six of us which was fine. We felt that it would be a bit cramped for eight. Glyn was very pleasant and helpful. All in all we had a great stay.

The keys of the flat was in a little box in the main door of the buliding so we could access at night the first day entering a code that the patron gave us by mail. We didn't pay any damages deposit. Everything were clean and the flat is very quiet.

The flat had huge high ceilinged rooms. It was on the ground floor so good for people of limited mobility. It was well furnished and spotlessly clean. The owner doesn't give a welcome pack so make sure you bring your own bread, milk, coffee etc. Morningside is a lovely quiet safe area and 15 minutes on the bus to the City Centre.

The flat was very well equipped with all mod-cons required for a comfortable stay. The welcome was very warm. There was plenty of room for all the family. There is a bus stop directly opposite the front door which takes you into the centre of Edinburgh in approx 5 mins. There is a selection of local shops, takeaways and pubs within easy reach. Murrayfield stadium is around the corner from the flat (although we did not go there ourselves). Landlord supplied excellent information regarding the flat, local area and events (we stayed during the fringe festival). The only minor problem was slight traffic noise as the property is on a main road. Really enjoyed our stay in Edinburgh and the flat was a welcome break at the end of very hectic days!

Good location - owner very polite and helpful when he met us with good contact before we went - everything we needed was in the apartment - now considering staying again next year.

This is a very nice 2 bedroom apartment situated a few minutes drive from the city centre. Retail park with supermarket, etc directly across the road was a bonus for getting supplies. The apartment itself was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. An ideal place to base yourself. The only issue that may affect visitors is the 5 flights of stairs leading to the apartment. Highly recommended and we will be back :-)

We enjoyed our stay in Leith and found the flat a very convenient base for getting into Edinburgh. The accommodation, though small, was pristine, comfortable and well-equipped. We particularly appreciated its outlook over the Waters of Leith.

I stayed here with some friends during the fringe festival. it's a quiet location about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the top end of princes st. the quietness was not a problem though as we were out around the city most of the time. the flat is excellent condition and was a good size. it offered superb value considering we were visiting for a weekend in the middle of August. would certainly recommend - and will keep the details for a future visit!

Great value flat, shortish walk from centre. The block of flats looked a bit scary at first but wonderful interior, very quiet at night. Very clean, with lots of little touches, such as bubble bath, milk, tea etc. Had a great stay. And has a parking place.

Good value for money, convenient for central sights, station & shops, but this also means can be noisy on weekend nights. Comfy furniture to relax in after climbing stairs!

Decided on a short break to Scotland, we hadn't been before so had no idea of the best location. The apartment couldn't have been any better for what we wanted, great location. Fourth floor but we discovered a back which took you stight out onto the royal mile. The apartment was cosy, clean and comfortable. Will return and if we can stay at "a room with a view"

Could not have been nearer to Edinburghs attractions buses all readily accessible. The only downside was the entrance to the apartment.Hall, stairs (three flights)all needed a good clean but once you were in the apartment the furnishings were clean and comfortable.

good location (just 3 bus stops from the burg) relatively quiet, walking distance to Leith walkway, botanic garden, national gallery, museum of modern art etc. technically quite modern equipped, bath is a bit narrow but ok, Computer access is great. Thanks. We liked it a lot!

The flat is in a very good location and very nice...we enjoyed it, but it would be useful to have 5 chairs if it is rented for 5 persons.

This flat was perfect for our stay (four girl friends) actually the flat made our stay more funny. I agree that a young family would have a problem with the three flights of stairs but for adult travellers it is perfect. On arrival it was clean and modern and the tea and pint of milk in the fridge was much appreciated. It was a good base. Reading the other reviews problems with neighbours seemed to be a problem but it was quiet and it looked like maybe the flat had changed hands. Great to be in sight of the castle and minutes away from the Royal Mile. The flat itself was great, if your above 6 foot be prepared to leave the toilet door open though. The neighbourhood was somewhat 'colourful' but what do you expect for a central location. Perfect for younger travellers. Thank you to Gill who was so welcoming.

We stayed here recently. The 3bedroom flat was a lot bigger than we were expecting with good sized rooms-although the top bunk bed stairs looko a bit hickety! The heating/tv and showers were all easy to work-and the flat itself was easily located and very central- so no extra costs on transports! Only negative from us- is that edinburgh flats took a while to reply to emails/phone calls leaving us all very out the loop! But we got there in the end- and had aa great stay- and will use the flat again.
