“This apartment is in an excellent location. Close walk to all sites, restaurants, shopping, train station. The apartment itself is modern and has everything you need for a self catering flat. Thanks for a great stay.”
“We had an excellent stay. The apartment was great and had everything we needed. After travelling for 9 hrs on the coach and having arrived early at 7.30am the owner kindly let us check in early at 8.30am instead of 3pm.
During our stay we were very pleased with how close by we were to the castle, shops and restaurants only 5 to 10 mins. Princess street was 5 mins away and had almost every high st shop.”
“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this clean, spacious, modern and comfortable flat, during the festival.Derek, the owner, very kindly picked us up from the bus station,a service I believe he provides. We then found it quite easy to walk into the city centre, although there is a convenient bus stop just across the road, Shops, pubs and resturants were all close by.All in all, a good place to stay.We miss the view!”
“We all had a wonderful time in the beautiful city that is Edinburgh. Although we live in Scotland I'm still amazed at how much there is to see & do (rec. visiting Royal Yacht Britannia, Camera Obscura Castle & Dynamic Earth/Scottish Parliament) As for the flat, well it had everything we needed & more inc. a lot of steps but well, it is good excercise. The beds were very clean & comfortable, a fantastic powershower although seemed only enough got water for 1. Overall I was delighted & would certainly reccomend this flat as very nice & good value.”
“This flat is in a great location, making a stay in Edinburgh eminently walkable. The flat's amenieties are perfectly fine: clean and functional. It presents great value for money and is an excellent base to explore the city. And the views to the Castle are fantastic!”
“We really have enjoyed our stay in the cosy as well as quiet flat, which can be recommended without hesitation. Everything in the flat was real as described.”
“We couldn't fault this flat in any way. Stunning views, located in a lovely, smart and convenient part of the city.
The apartment is very well equipped, clean and tidy and in very good repair. Brian was on hand and very helpful. It was as pleasant to stay here as in an hotel for comfort and how special it felt.
The whole building is beautifully decorated; we even took photos of the stairwells with it's stylish lamps and mirrors.
We had a very comfortable stay to say the least and would definitely recommend this to friends and family.”
“Great apartment, very modern, very large, returning by cheap people.
Well placed, 15 minutes from downtown. This stay will remain a wonderful memory, Edinburgh is a magical city.
Gill, the owner of the apartment is a very very very nice person.”
“We highly recommend this cosy, quiet and attractive flat in an interesting street close to Princes Street and within 15 minutes walk of Waverley railway station. One of the best equipped kitchens we have seen, pity we only had a week-end to enjoy it but hope to return.
Great fish restaurant opposite.”
“Modern flat with high class standard of accommodation. Handy for access to city centre and tourist attractions with Sanisbury's around the corner. Would be helpful to have information about the flat eg no details where rubbish was to be put and also limited equipment eg no can opener, bottle opener or kettle (latter provided when asked). Would recommend flat to anyone else however.”
“We really enjoyed staying in this flat. After going out for the day it was a pleasure to come back to it. Very well furnished - absolutely everything provided - even books to read, videos and DVDs. A great plus was free parking right outside the door, and a bus stop only a few yards away for buses into town. The beds were very comfy with mattress toppers etc. Could have slept 4 comfortably, with no-one having to share a bed. Would definitely select this on another occasion.”
“We stayed here for a weekend, and the apartment suited us very well. Bedrooms are a good size and very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and it's an attractive place to stay. Nice location on the park too, with some good cafes and pubs within a minute's walk.”
“This is the second time we stayed in this area and once again found it great lovely local shops, cafe and restraurants all within a 5/10min walk. Great bus service into town served by a number of buses. The flat is very comfortable lots of room a bit sparce on the delph and cutlery and maybe leaving some basics like enough toilet paper and some wasing up liquid would be handy otherwise great. delighted to have the use of a hair dryer too. All in all great weekend, thank you and as our son lives in the area we will be back later in the year.”
“A nice little house on a fairly quiet side street, very close to the pubs and restaurants of Leith. There is a newsagent and a small Sainsbury's about one minute's walk from the flat. A bit of a way into the centre of Edingburgh but it is walkable and there are lots of busses.
The flat is very nice (we were only the second people to stay so everything was new) and the owners (who live next door) are very helpful.”
“Would book again. Good location not too far from the center. Two comfortable bathes and a nice living room. The windows don't keep the noisy street outside the bedrooms though.
Very nice owners!”
“Really really impressed by this apartment. In fact it completely exceeded our expectations.
Wonderfully decorated and finished with a large spacious front room, brand new kitchen and whirlpool bath in the bathroom, as well a four poster bed in the bedroom. What more could you want from a weekend away?
I could not recommend this apartment enough.”
“Perfect garden flat for a short or long break in Edinburgh (we stayed there 2 weeks...). Well situated close to the city centre, and on several bus routes.
Well equipped kitchen where you can prepare proper meals (not just reheat stuff). A proper table to seat around and have dinner (very important for French tourists ;) ).
Good range of pubs, bars & restaurant at walking distance (ie less than 5 minutes). Small shops, supermarket and one of the best butcher (famous for his sausages & haggis) also at walking distance.
Will be back!”
