This was the perfect flat for what we wanted. located in such a good area, close to the royal mile and Princes st and was walking distance from everything we wanted. Lovely little flat...

Great little house in a lovely position. Spotless clean and equipped with everything you would need. Margaret and Bill the owners live next door a lovely couple who have a wealth of knowledge about Edinburgh. There is a bus stop 2 min from the flat that takes you in to town, Will definetly be recommending this to my friends.

The accommodation was wonderfull, Phil and Karen could not have been more accomodating, and made my two weeks very pleasant and enjoyable. I got on very well with both of them my name is Phil too so it made for some funy situations! The accommodation was fitted with all the Mod cons, all you could ask for. The shared set up works very well, very socialable situation, whilst having your own space too. The accommodation is situated a pleasant 30-40mins walk into the center. For my needs it was 20 mins to R.B.G.E. Its also a rather quite area with a pakring facility although managed to walk to most place. The supermarket is a handy supermarket 5mins walk away. Over all 10 out 10.

We enjoyed our stay at the Rose Street flat. The location was ideal, an easy walk to many restaurants, shops and attractions. As well as being spacious, the flat was very clean and well equipped. Thanks Lenore for helping to make our stay in Edinburgh so pleasant.

The house is beautiful, a little disappointed in the amount of dust on floors and skirting boards and other surfaces. We loved the neighbours and our daughters wedding was fantastic. Would recommend the house, but suggest it could do with a full clean

We have returned to this flat in Leith several times now. Very well positioned overlooking the Water of Leith but with easy access to Edinburgh city centre by the excellent and frequent bus service. The apartment is beautifully appointed and very clean. Great pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk. We highly recommend this.

Our party consisted of 4 adults and 2 children. Space was good. Furnishings comfortable. Some new crockery and glasses are needed as many items are chipped - maybe I'm just fussy! Towels and linen were supplied and these were all OK. Just be aware there are quite a few stairs but we didn't find this a problem. The owner's daughter met us with the keys, a very pleasant girl.

A lovely flat with all you could need for a city holiday. Great location for a (level) walk to the West End. On-site parking worked very well. We always found a space in the car park and, had we not, there was ample free evening parking in the adjacent street and spaces in the car park in the morning once other apartment residents had gone to work. A special mention for Maggie who was there to meet us and to see us out at the end. She was really welcoming and the communications in the bookoing process were excellent. Finally, as others have said, its a bigger property than the pictures suggest but the pictures are otherwise a good indication of what's on offer.

stayed here for a wedding in April. We were two couples who had our own space and plenty of privacy, as well as a great living room/dining area to hang out. very cosy and homely, and a great wee terrace. Shower, kitchen stuff all worked and iPod is a bonus. Fiona (landlady) was very helpful and on hand for our arrival. have recommended to friends going to Edinburgh in the festival.

Excellent base for exploring Edinburgh. Comfortable and spacious even for a family of six, with well thought out extra touches. I can't recommend this property highly enough!

Great property view, location and amenities . Internet was fast. Travelled with our son and daughter In law. Loved just sitting and looking for bunnies on castle hill. Short walk to castle. Great restaurants right outside the door. Enjoyed the haggis n Guinness at the pubs. Fish n chips every day.

Commodiuous and well equiped flat with a great view across the meadows and Arthus's seat, the two bathrooms are comfortable, small supermarket and Cafe really nearby, only a short walk into the city handicap: the damaged window in the livingroom, so that we could not ventilate

The flat certainly manages to capture both elegance and homeliness at the same time. The elegance is immediately apparent from the outside, in that the flat is toward the centre of one of Edinburgh's famous crescents, facing a large private garden shared with neighbouring residents. Inside, the lounge is particulary impressive with its high ceiling and tasteful decor. In terms of homeliness, the flat is, quite simply, very comfortable: just about everything is there to make this a relaxing place to be. If you turn left out of the front door, leaving the quiet of the flat, and walk for a couple of minutes you'll be on Stockbridge's main road, with its variety of small shops, restaurants, pubs and a couple of useful smaller supermarkets (with a large Waitrose about 10 minutes walk away). The city centre can be reached either on foot or by bus. The Royal Botanic Garden is an easy and pleasant walk.

Me and my son stayed here and it was well presented and had everything we needed. Close enough to buses and by foot to central Edinburgh. The WIFI was brilliant.

First time I've been to Edinburgh, what a fantastic place to visit. I was with the wife and four children. I'm sure they will remember it for years to come. We spent 3 nights in the apartment, it was quiet and close to all the tourist attractions we wanted to visit, and there was free parking and wifi. If I was to visit again, I would probably want this apartment again as I would say it is excellent value for money.

A spacious apartment, the photos on the web really don't do justice to the size of the grand rooms. The location is perfect for exploring the city and parking is easy if you drive. The apartment was really clean and warm although a little tired. It could really do with a new bed, quite uncomfortable. Would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a city break.

Have just returned from a week's stay in this property with my family joined by French friends who travelled over from Lyon. We were all very impressed with the house and the space and resources supplied. We had quite a cold and damp stay but the cosy, warm and welcoming 'home' at the end of the day kept us very happy! Ron, the landlord, is an excellent host who was so helpful and thoughtful. If, and when, we return to Edinburgh we would definitely hope to make a return stay.
