“The flat was lovely, very well furnished and very comfortable. The location is very good for the city centre and access to Holyrood Park and the Dynamic Earth. The bottle of wine and shortbreads were a welcome sight on arrival too! Owners were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the apartment and hope to stay there again next time we visit.”
“the flat was in a good quiet location with essentials near by ie;co-op ,near Princes st.I would definately stay here again it was spacious, warm and had everything we needed.”
“A very homely, comfortable apartment with great facilities.
The location was great - it took us about 10 minutes to reach Holyrood Palace by foot, and from there we felt we were on the outskirts of the centre. It was probably another 10-15 minutes walk to the very middle of the city.
Just across the road from the flat is an entrance to the park, which makes for a very pretty alternative route. A large Sainsburys store is situated 10 minutes' walk around the corner which is great for stocking up on breakfast supplies and other basics!
Whilst we didn't make the most of all the features the flat had to offer (the jacuzzi bath looked great!) - they were really lovely touches. The impressive sound system with speakers in every room was lovely and made time spent recovering from trundling around the city all day all the more enjoyable!
Situated on the top floor of the block, the stairwell might make the access less suitable to elderly or physically impaired people, but this isn't something that caused our group of four any issue, despite a bit of panting and whining as we ascended the final flight of steps!
On the whole, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the apartment was a great find. We would certainly return without hesitation.”
“Stayed in the flat for a short weekend break. The flat is really nice and is in a great location, very central for the all attractions. If going to Edinburgh again, I would definitely stay here.”
“The flat was in excellent shape, and Marsha added lots of unexpected extras that were a welcome treat. The flat is in a brilliant location for both New and Old Town and the proximity to the station is an added bonus. Only downside was the builders out the back starting at 7am, but despite that, we'll definitely be back.”
“Excellent apartment - well equipped - walking distance to the centre of Edinburgh
Made my stay for my Graduation something special
would recommend to anyone”
“It was a very pleasant and clean flat, with all things wich you need to spend nice holydays. A short way to the busstation in a silent enviroment with friendly neighbours.
We will always have good remind for this time in this flat in Edinbourgh.”
“As a family of three we had a four day stay in this lovely apartment which is homely and spotlessly clean. The location of the apartment is excellent for sightseeing as it is on a main bus route into Edinburgh city centre and only takes 10 mins by bus. What myself and my husband particularly liked after choosing this apartment was that the owner was in regular contact with us by e-mail saying how much she was looking forward to welcoming us to Edinburgh. Upon arrival we were met at the apartment by the owners sister (unfortunately due to work commitments owner unable to meet us personally) who was very very welcoming and again gave us lots of information about Edinburgh. We had no problems during our stay but we felt that should there have been, we felt that both the owner and her sister would be more than willing to help. Would recommend the apartment to anyone.”
“This a fantastic location close to station department stores but also some amazing specialist shops, perfect for a stay in Edinburgh the owner has thought of everything and it is just beautiful”
“We spent four weeks in this apartment as part of our relocation from Hiroshima to Edinburgh. The apartment is very spacious with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Janet is extremely helpful and friendly and we really appreciate her kindness. This apartment gives you the chance to live in an impressive Victorian tenement building and it is well-situated just across from bus stops from where you can take buses into the city centre in 10-15 minutes. Thoroughly recommended!”
“Good location, close to the city centre, shops and to the green and quiet areas too. Good if you look for a quiet place to stay - not at the main road, but also not far to the bus stops.”
“This is a great, modern, roomy apartment. It is only a short walk (10 minutes) to Waverley station. It has all mod cons, including a big TV with the usual freeview channels, plus good broadband. The broadband in particular came in really useful for planning our days out, buying advance tickets for the attractions, and finding restaurant recommendations. The secure, free parking space was brilliant and sets this flat apart from a lot of the other accommodation in the city. Highly recommended.”
“This is a great flat, all mod cons, very well kept, just of princes street and great value for money. Some great places to eat and drink just a few mins walk from your front door. Next time I'm in edinburgh we're staying in the same place!”
“Apartment makes you feel as if you ate at home. Got everything in it, really comfy, quiet area, easy to find and easy to get to the city. Got everything around you asda and bus stop. Very nice apartment keep it up !!!!!”
“Good sized flat. We had the dining room converted to a third bedroom and this did not detract from flat as enough space in living room to relax and eat. Good location only 10 mins walk to the Haymarket end of Princes Street and 10 mins along the river to Stocksbridge.”
“I'd definitely try to book this apartment again the next time I'm in Edinburgh. The location is the definition of prime location, the living room overlooks Grassmarket and the view of brick buildings from the bedroom window was definitely quaint. The mattress was superb, the interior design - I couldn't fault. And the space!
The only negative is something that didn't affect me but could well affect others:
It's not accessible for everyone because you have to climb a very narrow, steep, circular staircase. I probably wouldn't book here if I'm with my 70-year-old parents.
But overall... yeah, this is the best apartment I've ever booked for a holiday.”
“We stayed at this accommodation for a week in November. The location is excellent as it is very central but also not noisy at night time. The apartment is tastefully furnished and extremely well equipped. There were many extras, including a lovely welcome pack, an adaptor for guests from overseas, information about the city and even umbrellas which we did not have to use. We wanted a place that would feel homely and comfortable so that we could relax and eat in some nights if we wanted to, and this accommodation met our expectations in every way. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to others and hopefully will have a chance to return some day. An excellent choice for a stay in Edinburgh.”
“We had a fantastic stay in the Hunter Apartment. It was very warm and comfortable, well equipped and nicely furnished. Brian was very informative and made us feel welcome and the delicious welcome pack was a nice addition and meant we didn't have to search out supplies. The apartment is very well located for central Edinburgh and the number 36 goes from right outside if you don't want to walk, Waitrose is just around the corner. We had a brilliant stay and the people of Edinburgh were warm and welcoming, we will definitely be back.”
