I still haven't received my order, it's been more than a month already and I paid for quick delivery! Customer service is horrible, no one ever contacted me, I had to call several times and found out that the items were discontinued . After reordering I found out again in a company weeks that the new items are also not available! I was promised a refund for quick delivery, but haven't received it as well as the order itself!

Although delivered on time and without a problem the product itself was extremely flimsy and made of poor quality materials and consequently did not work when fitted.

Hello Allan I am so sorry you had that problem, we have sold a lot of these and I have installed them in my own home with no problem. We would of course replace a faulty unit if returned. Many Thanks

The replacement cupboard LED units all failed within a few days of use. I was forced to purchase new complete lamp units from another supplier which now operate satisfactorily.

I ordered 50 watt external lighting as I had 50 watt bulbs. However despite clearly stating 50 watt on the website and invoice the lights were only 35 watt max on the box. So I now need to purchase 8 bulbs. Also one of the lights had 5 imperfections. I rang 3 times to report and the call went unanswered.I then left a message and it has now been 1 week since and still no resolve to my issues.

Wrong goods sent. After at least 3 emails over a number of weeks i still have had no acknowledgement from them

Two weeks to deliver something that was in stock, only delivered after I chased, patronising on the phone.

Product received was fine but the order didnt turn up on date promised 4 times. Each time I had to call to find out what had happened only to be promised a new date a few days later. They simply didnt have the product but weren't honest with me. Very bad experience.

Not Good. Had a phone call from them saying that they didn't have the light bulb but had another one that would fit well it didn't waste of time and money!

Over the past few years Efficient Lighting has been my online supplier for spare tubes for my Green Brook under cupboard lights. I recently ordered 2X20 watt tubes which, on arrival, were the incorrect size. Having then looked on other websites I concluded that my particular fittings had been discontinued & presumably the alternative was a different size. At that point in time I had the misfortune to have a telephone conversation with Mr Giles Boardman who I believe is the MD. He seemed incapable of grasping the situation & was extremely rude & arrogant. I will certainly not be recommending his company. Judging from other websites I'm not the only person who has fallen foul of Mr Boardman.

A good summary of what can be so upsetting about running a company in the UK.... The item ordered was an LL10t4 - which fits the Leyton range perfectly. As opposed to the MLLt10....which fits the Greenbrook range perfectly! The problem is that pointing this out was "rude" having listened for over 30minutes to how we'd made a mistake. I agree I found it hard to "grasp the situation" and I'm sorry that pointing out the wrong product had been ordered was "rude". I even offered to send out the correct product as we had the last remaining (correct Mllt20) tubes in the country at that point. Lighting is a huge and complicated topic, we offer 21 000 products for example - please feel free to ask for advice to avoid ordering a Leyton product for your Greenbrook light!

I am very sorry to have to leave a very negative review for this company. I bought from them a very simple item which I have not even received yet and then they want me to leave feedback. Naturally I am disappointed with the very poor service that I have received from this company and would in no way endorse their efficiency.

Amazon use a service called Euorpean Fulfillment Network, every time they change anything on our account they helpfully turn on our EFN, they have done it several times as it earns Amazon more money....! The unfortunate repurcussion of this boring bit of information is exactly what happened here - we couldn't fulfill this order for Germany due to Amazons mistake and hence had to offer alternative products. Sorry this is 'not very Amazon'. As in this case the alternative product was not wanted we had to refund the transaction in full and apologise profusely. We rarely go into the Amazon EFN situation with a client as no one likes a company who doesn't take responsibility for their mistakes and the long and the short of it is this was our mistake. But was this really "fraud"......? Paying no tax on 2billion of sales would be fraud, surely this was just a mistake that we put right immediately it was identified to us and apologised for the clear distress it caused......

I have had very poor service from efficient light. I ordered a clip for a kitchen light for which they charged me £3-4 postage. I waited around 4 weeks but it never arrived so I wrote them an email explaining that it hadn't arrived however I never heard back from them.

You must be joking. You must at least have forgotten our correspondence. You found an item for me which cost £1.80, for which you asked for £18 carriage. As I had a used sample of the small strip light, I wrapped it well in bubble-wrap and paper, and through the post it would have cost me £1.97 second class, £3. 15 first (these are as far as I can remember now). Furthermore, had it been sent in a truck it would most likely have got lost as it is so small. Why on earth do you not use Royal Mail for small items? They charge the same for everywhere and do not punish "remote" areas. What I would like to do about firms like yours would be to spread the word that you may be efficient but are really unreasonable about your carriage policy

I'm sorry I really don't understand primarily because we do have a commercial royal mail account and a returns label service and we most certainly don't penalise anyone for living in a rural area. We do huge amounts of business in Scotland for example. But fundamentally I just don't understand the comments about us sourcing you a fitting and you sending us back a used sample....? sorry if I'm missing something obvious....
