Haven't yet recieved my order, after several weeks. I've sent several emails to your customer service email address which weren't even acknowledged. Tried calling several times and when I did eventually manage to speak to someone they seemed very confused, put me on hold for some time then told me unconvincingly that it would arrive tommorrow. It didn't. Please just get me my order so I can put this incident behind me. I'll use a bigger, more professional retailer next time.

I paid express delivery at the checkout but it was delivered 5 days later. A few Bulbs were faulty and wasn't working at all also this bulbs aren't working the amount hours promised

I sent the following email to you on 9 February; I have not had a response Dear sir I ordered some replacement LED lights for use in my kitchen I was advised that the light requested was no longer available, but an equivalent alternative could be provided. I fitted one of the replacement lights yesterday. It is much more yellow than the current lights in my kitchen, despite the box indicating it to be cool white. Naturally I am rather disappointed at the yellowness of the light. I have spent some time comparing the information on the box for the lamps that you sent, with the box for the lamps currently in the kitchen. Both are GU10 with similar lumens; however the current lights in the kitchen are marked 6500k, whereas those which you supplied are 4000k. Is this perhaps the reason why the replacement lights are more yellow? Grateful for your advice on availability of less ‘yellow’ LED lights, please. I was happy that the items were as described and I was happy to buy from a UK company, but I had three areas of dissatisfaction. Communication: I placed my order on 29th June. Then all was absolute silence until the 6th and 7th July, when I got an absolute flurry of messages about when it was going to be delivered and a very specific time-slot. By that point I'd already made plans to be out and my parcel was delivered to a neighbour. If I'd had any idea in advance what day the delivery would be, I could have made my plans diferently. More spaced-out updates are way more helpful than a sudden last-minute flurry that doesn't give me time to do anything as a result. Packaging: the two light-shades were in a cardboard box 34cm x 38cm x 7.5cm with a ton of plastic "air cushion" packaging. Was this really necessary, given that they were already packed flat in two plastic sleeves? I appreciate that the plastic is biodegradeable but it seemed unnecessary. Actual product: the first light-shade was OK, the second hangs a bit wonky. But it wasn't worth sending it back for the price.

The three lighting units arrived in a rather large and badly packed box. A few random bits of polystyrene were supposed to stop the units moving about, but did not. The Optonica units had absolutely no fitting instructions inside the box (despite the advice on the outside 'Please read carefully the manual before use!'.) - not Efficient Light's fault! I have not yet fitted the lights, so cannot comment on their performance.

Order placed 7th April, heard nothing, chased on 23rd April, response saying some items on website were no longer available, revised order placed 25th April, processed 5th May, delivery over a month after first order. Very slow! Plus website out of date

The web site is poor and without all the information / technical spec or decent filters to narrow the search. When emailing to find more information or get advice they had to be constantly chased and the lead times given were misleading. I wanted to support a local company, however I would not use them again.

No sign of order and so rang to chase up. Promised a ring back which didn't happen. Rang again and again promised a ring back and didn't happen. Rang again and given a delivery date, didn't happen. Rang again and given a delivery and threatened to cancel order and this time it was delivered. Why would I go back?

Took nearly a month to get our wall lights. Made various calls and sent an email with no reply. Eventually found out that one light had been broken in transit from the supplier, would have been a much better experience if I had been kept informed

Several things went wrong. The light was not as described. It looked nothing like the photo or text description and instead of taking comments on board, Efficient Light blamed it on the manufacturer instead of saying that they'd update the description to prevent future customers being disappointed. Also the bulb we ordered did not arrive and we had to chase for this. Moreover the communication with the company was terrible. No updates on delayed delivery. No response to my emails until chased on phone call, and no response to a very clear complaint on email. The customer service is poor. I wouldn't shop here again.

Good product but bad experience, ordered but no communication email to confirm and I had to phone to chase order which did not arrive. Told product was out of stock and would take over 2 weeks to arrive.

I ordered three products - fisherman lamp, bankers lamp and birdcage lamp along with the cored to her bulbs. Fishermans lamp and banker lamp had no issues. The birdcage lamp was missing a bird- basically very damaged. They sent all the wrong light bulbs. The mistake wasn't really the issue - it's the lack of rectification that has annoyed me. After two phone calls during which I was promised a call back and three emails on which supplied photos still no one bothered getting back to me. Incredibly poor service.

It took over 10 days for the products to arrive and I had to chase twice to confirm delivery dates. If the items aren't in stock when the order is placed there should be an email to advise of the expected wait time and another confirming when the product has been despatched

Light fitting I purchased did not work. I am not an electrician but know enough about electricity to be able to change a light fitting. When I made complaint I was just told to send it back to you. It is a £10.00 fitting and the carrier to send it back is £9.00 including VAT, so I cut my losses.

We received our lights and on opening them found that both glasses were smashed we reported this to yourselves and as of yet have no recompense

Did not get the bulbs ordered Gu10 50W 2900K 35 Degree lucky the ones sent Gu10 50W 2700K 36 Degree fitted, perhaps replacements for the ones ordered but no communication with regard to the replacements, some of the boxes old stock and was relabelled not impressed. Glad that there is a new website the old one was not easy to navigate adding and subtracting items and number of items on the order was cumbersome. Not likely to use your company again!

The 3 LED spotlights supplied all failed within a period of only 8 months, well within the 2 year guarantee period. I had to pay the return postage on the first failure and received a replacement. The remaining 2 lights failed very soon and I advised the sales department. After several e-mails I eventually received a total replacement of my original order without any further cost. Only time will tell if it was poor quality control on the first batch that caused the failure.

They were very slow in fulfilling my order. I had to chase it so many times, and I got different messages/excuses for the delay depending on who I spoke to. Eventually I spoke to someone who seemed to know what was going on (there was a query over the brightness of the bulb being supplied apparently). I was promised two bulbs - one bright, one warm, to compensate for being messed about, but in the end only one bulb was delivered. I have no idea if it is the one i asked for as the fitting isn't wired up yet. Disappointing.
