We ordered some lights for our house which was being renovated in early Dec 2018 - 2 of the 3 line items were "in stock", the remaining one needed to be ordered and was to arrive in the UK on the 10th Jan to be delivered to us shortly thereafter. Payment was required upfront for this reason, so we did so. No goods by the 10th Jan 2019, nor any communication to advise on progress - subsequent chasing produced no results. No email updates as promised; changes of delivery dates made when questioned; had to collect the 2 items that had become available (despite delivery being promised) - another promise on the outstanding item, which never materialised. Finally, having let our electricians down several times, we cancelled the order and requested a refund. No acknowledgement, no refund. Evasive conversations or refusal to deal with over the phone, on one occasion leaving us "on hold" for 40 minutes. It is now 15 Feb and we are still waiting for our refund which has been requested by us and promised by them several times. We will have to consider other action. We wish we had checked these review sites and searched Companies House to look at the accounts before we had proceeded. So we suggest that you consider VERY carefully whether or not you should deal with this company as we would not wish others to share our experiences of dealing with this outfit. I wouldn't leave the shop without the goods in your hands.

Ordered a Matilda Art Deco Table lamp as a Christmas present, and it was never received in time Payment was taken immediately, hence I 'assumed' the lamp was in stock. Email received to show payment processed, but never received any email acknowledging the order itself I emailed on 3 separate occasions requesting a cancellation of the order, every email ignored to date 10 days after Christmas I received an email from DPD showing a dispatch being finally made Thanks for nothing, but it's too late now! I've already raised this through Paypal - where's my refund? By the way, the lamp is still awaiting collection at the collection point - I have no intention of collecting it in the circumstances REF: INVOICE 000002262 (no order ref - never provided to me)

Poor quality items, do not pay for next day delivery, next day delivery is a month plus wait time and then you will need to wait an additional month to get refund. Staff are rude and do not help when tracking your items

I ordered lights from this website one month ago, it came with missing item- emailed to request to fix this situation- no reply then called them - customer service said they'll call me by end of morning and reply to my email still not heard anything from them now its been 1 month, call them and no one seems to answer the phone anymore. Not happy with their service at all.

The item I ordered was on the website however nobody stocks anything these days so the order was then placed with the manufacturing Germany After a while I rang to find out what was going on, I had already tried to order through another company only to be told that it was a discontinued line, sure enough it was a same story. Fortunately there was a reasonably similar replacement that will just about do. So I agreed to order this instead. Unfortunately, they then forgot to order it so the process took about a month. Just in time anyone? Why are lighting companies particularly rubbish?

I would NEVER use this company again. Nowhere does it say on the website that the product I ordered - a Mother & Child Light - comes without bulbs, which you would have thought were rather essential to make the light function! They did not respond to my (2) emails and when I rang, the man who answered was brusque to the point of rudeness. So much for being a small family run business which depends on its reputation.

We placed the order in August and apart from 1 phone call received no communication or updates regarding our order. Eventually in November I emailed to cancel the order and request a refund. Even then I didn't receive any reply, not even an apology for the delay or any communication to explain the reasons why. I just got an email to tell me when the items were being delivered. Appalling service and I will never use this company again.

Terrible. Firstly, I had to wait almost 50days for my lights. Then when the lights came they were way to big. I sent them back and asked to exchange for the next size down. They informed me that I would have to wait 7-10 days as stock wasn't expected of the small ones until then. Almost 2 weeks later, when really I should have had the new lights, someone finally returned my calls. When they did they then told me I would have to wait a further 3 weeks as stock was now not expected until then. Even though I had returned the lights well before as mentioned. I then asked for a refund because this has been over 3 months back and forth. I was told I would be charged a 25% restocking fee. Restocking? They never stocked the item in the first place otherwise I wouldn't have spend so long waiting. How can they charge me 25%? Whatever issues they have with the supplier in terms of returns should be at their end. They are just middle men. I wouldn't bother with them, I would rather pay a bit more elsewhere and be safe in the knowledge that things are being dealt with appropriately.

Do not use this company. Waited 2 weeks for order only to find when we chased it up they hadn't even ordered it when we were promised the product would arrive within 7 days. Very unhelpful on the phone and struggled to get a refund,

I bought out doors lights from this company and my items didn't arrive when they said tok 20 days instead seven days I call customer service tha said is nothing we can do I ask for manager he was very rude I think this company it's bad to care about there's costumes and poor service

After visiting this shop for kitchen spotlights, we were talked into buying something completely different. This was not compatible with the switches we had already bought so we returned the lights to the shop to be told a refund would be issued. We are still waiting for that refund 3 weeks later. I have made several phone calls to be told the refund will be processed or Giles will ring me back. Nothing. Sent emails. No reply. This company obviously thinks its acceptable to steal your money and then completely ignore you!! Registered letter now sent to the company informing of legal action and reporting to Trading Standards. Beware in dealing with this company.

In - Efficient Lighting completely messed my order up, Awful communication, Said they had refunded my money. 10 days later I am still waiting. I can feel a CCJ application coming on. Disgusting

I waited 10 days for delivery and when it arrived the light had a potentially dangerous manufacturing fault. I ask for a refund and return paid label and had no response after another prompt I was asked to supply photos, which were sent, no response, eventually I was asked to return the light no return label was issued so 10 days after receiving the item I paid for the return carriage. A week later after the intervention of Google Certified Shops, I received a refund for the light but not the return carriage. The delivery time, product, response to emails and customer care were very poor.

I ordered two light fittings 8 days ago, had no email or advice since. I rang to enquire as to the position as items needed now urgently to complete project. I was informed the lights are still with the supplier in Germany ! with no idea when I might receive them No apology, 'Danny' hung up on me Very poor service. I suppose you get what you pay for after being attracted by competitive pricing

This order has been diabolical from start to finish! I wouldn't even rate it 1 but there is no 0!Would never use this company again and when my husband sent an email we received no apology, just a picture as though we're too stupid to fit a lightshade! Service from start to finish has been unbelievably bad and product completely useless!

I am sure it didnt mention in the description that the lights used a transformer the size of a small car.

We ordered two bathroom lights which took about two weeks to be delivered despite paying for express shipping. We are also really disappointed with the quality of the lights and I'm currently looking into whether they're even real or cheap copies of what should be a good quality product based on the price. I searched a number of different suppliers for these particular lights and went with efficient because they offered the best price - I'm now wondering whether they're only able to offer such a good discount because just selling rubbish from china.
