“Bought my coat in the sale at a very good price. Have not worn it yet but when I tried it on it looked nice quality and very smart. I shall wear it as soon as weather improves. This was my first purchase from Elvi and speed of delivery was excellent.”

“Hi, The dress is lovely and was delivered in good time. However the sizing is ridiculously small. I wear a size 22 Uk. But knowing that online sizing can be so unpredictable and because this was a shift dress shape and therefore could be worn lose , I purchased a size 26.Uk. For a very special occasion. The preview of my very first Solo exhibition. The dress is way too small. More like a 18 or 20Uk. I had to rush out and buy another dress. Yes a size 22 from Sainsburys. Please review your sizing. It was so disappointing and very frustrating.”

“Was charged a different price than advertised on line for a skirt. Tried to call to no avail so sent message. 3 standard e mails sent in return cancelling my order for item when I had specifically asked for a refund of the difference only. So I rang Spoke to a customer agent who explained the item was out of stock although they had taken the full amount for my order. So did not receive the item! When the rest of the parcel arrived. On top of the first error in the same order you had sent me a wrong item for a sweater I had ordered. Was sent a dress made out of same fabric!! Label on dress was number for sweater although label inside the garment was a completely different number. Also in the same order I ordered a pair of trousers which when I opened had a large tear down one side. And finally a pair of jeans I ordered were shown with front pockets and arrived without, making them look more like leggings. All in all totally unacceptable. Again I spent ten minutes trying to call the customer service line with no reply. Once again I messaged through the online page and still more than 48 hours later I have had no response to my complaint. The whole experience has been extremely poor and I have been the one spending more of my valuable time trying to sort this out. I have been left feeling extremely upset stressed and more to the point out of pocket without even the courteousness of a response and an apology and a way forward to rectify this situation. I am now left with a number of items not sold as seen or fit for purpose and now have to travel to a click and collect pay for parking to return this parcel whilst this company have not even had the decency to offer an explanation. As a valid customer it is well below what I would expect from a company such as yours. I still await a call as requested in my online complaint. Order No. #56159”

“I bought a top before Christmas and when it arrived and I tried it on it fitted me as it did the model. It was lovely and I was very pleased. When I saw the great sale you had on I decided to buy items I had admired before Christmas but couldn’t stretch to financially. My parcel arrived quickly and I couldn’t wait to try on my new clothes. I checked and rechecked the size labels on all 4 items as absolutely none of them fit me. One item was huge and the other three were way too small. One of the dresses was modelled by the lady who modelled my “Christmas” top. The dress was meant to be very loose fitting and looked like a body con dress on me. I am giving 2 stars because of the great design, manufacture and quality of the ELVI clothes but I am very disappointed and annoyed at the absolute disparity in the same sized clothes from the one clothing house. I had no confidence in trying to exchange the clothes for different sizes as I wouldn’t have a clue what other sizes to even opt for. Finally, it cost £10 to have the clothes shipped to me and has cost the equivalent in euros to send them back. I sent them back the day after receipt. As you can see I’m really annoyed and disappointed. I was so excited at the prospect of getting some beautiful new pieces and couldn’t keep even one of them. Please do something about these sizing issues. Kind regards. Ann Marie”

“I ordered a grey "boyfriend" coat in the sale. Nothing wrong with the ordering or delivery process, they were fine. But I was shocked by the poor and shoddy quality of the jacket. Horrible fabric, hang like a sack, and was totally unlined. I don't know what has happened to Elvi as years ago when I bought lots of items, the quality was excellent, but this was a disgrace.”

“I love the style and quality of the garments. Quality exceeds price without exception. Garments are well constructed and materials are luxe. Orders placed on Friday in UK are received in US by Tuesday. OUTSTANDING! One cannot ask for better. Elvi has a US customer for life!”
