“I was excited to find ELVI as I believed it was a site made for my style specifically. I fell in love with the site looking over and over at items and finally decided to take the plunge to buy something; ordering internationally the site requires you to pay a ridiculous amount for shipping alone. I will admit, my package came quite quickly but after realizing I paid $20 for shipping it didn't surprise me much. The items I received, other than one all black item, were completely different in person than in images on the website. I reached out to customer service about this issue. It took FOUR days for them to get back to me. This was very frustrating as they only give international orders TWO weeks to return something. When I did receive a response I was shooed away and my questions were not answered. When I responded back telling them so, they finally answered my concern about their products not looking the same in person. They tried to state it was due to my computer screen's "quality and resolution". Now I studied film and television production and know how different monitor resolutions can be. The differences in these items were not due to any resolution issue, as much as they wanted to use that as an acceptable excuse. These issues were due to personal edits made to photos, in return implying a color, make, etc. much different than its realistic appearance. Of course, I wanted to send the items back. ADDITIONALLY, with everything else that went wrong, they insisted I paid even more to return the items back to them! I've shopped on many international sites which have included BOTH free shipping and returns when customers spend over a certain amount. I suggest ELVI invests in this type of customer service. With my experience at ELVI I felt deceived and poorly treated. I hate to say it, but I very much doubt I will ever order from them again. My time with ELVI was unsatisfactory.”

“The first pair of pants that I opened had a ripped belt loop so I was not impressed by that. I live in the U.S. so I am not going to go through the trouble of exchanging or returning anything. My excitement dwindled at this point. I still have 4 others to look through. I can't say whether I will or will not purchase from this site again.”

“I love the new direction Elvi has taken in recent years. Very chic, very modern. BUT it's so important to actually use plus size models. The models on your website are at best 12-14. I think you'll find less returns and more loyal customers if you actually reflect who we are.”

“Ordered a black jacket and grey skinny jeans which came quite quickly. The jeans were good quality and fit but sent them back as they didn't feel fit. The jacket looked nothing like it did in the website and to be honest felt a little over priced. Shame as I planned to wear it that night but wouldn't put me off trying again with them.”

“I like the unique cut and styling of the pants, but wish the material was a bit more substantial. The legs could have a more contemporary, slimmer cut and I wish the strap/belt along the waist was adjustable.”
