“Decided to change electric company because my current provider kept calling me at work 10 months before my plan expired and was asking me to sign a 3 year deal at a high rate. Checked their plans the other day and the cheapest one that matched my energy usage was 12 months at 17 cents per KWH. Called and talked to them about it and they said they did not offer that plan in my area and once again told me the best deal they had for me was 3 years at 20 cents per KWH. Checked three of four websites and didn’t see any offers that looked that great. Then the last site I looked at before I went to bed was EnergyBot and they pulled my energy usage details from my provider and matched me up with companies that had good deals for my power usage which is fairly low. A few months a year I use around 600 KWH and my average is 340 KWH per month. Wasn’t really familiar with most of the companies on their site. The next day I called and spoke to one of their customer service people about a couple of them and got some advice on a few things. Also that day the prices had moved up a couple of cents and most of the terms that were good for me moved from 36 months to 12 months. Checked again later that night and found that plan I had looked at previously that was 36 months at 14 cents per KWH and for my usage the average would be 14.8 cents per KWH and that’s the plan I signed up for. Long story short I liked the fact EnergyBot matched my usage to providers that had good deals for it. Thanks David”
