I had problems with my unit that were finally resolved. I think they're a good company that needs to work on their customer communication. Credit to Jack the engineer for resolving the problem. A thoroughly good guy who is a credit to eo. I love the look of the unit, it's good looking and unobtrusive.

It's not pretty. I have to park the car soooo close to the house to plug it in. Next time to make my life much easier I'm having my charger on the garage wall.

Very good service. The installers came when they said they would, installed the charger and cleaned up afterwards, and stayed on site to make sure my Wi-fi connected with it securely and effectively.

The style of the charge is nice, easy to use, installation was straightforward BUT registration and linking the charger to the house WIFI was tricky and took ages. The installer had to phone someone! Delivery took ages…longer the the electric car!

So far so good, I have only used the charger once and obviously it has worked. Organisation was good, I was kept informed about when the install would be happening. On the day, unfortunately the installer was more than a couple of ours later than was organised, though I was contacted and informed of this(hazards of the job if he had had a difficult install before mine). The install was pretty straight forward, as I had pre prepared for the charge point and the installer was very helpful and polite. 4 stars only as it made me late for an appointment.

Have only used this once so far, but all worked perfectly. Installation by the engineer extremely neatly done with advice on the best location for using it. BUT - the app has been totally useless and makes the charger redundant as a piece of smart equipment. The installation engineer did not assist with the app as I read later he should have done but I suspect that is because he knows how bad the app is. Read other reviews of the app to get a good feel for it. I would have used the smart side of the quipment had it functioned. The reviews I've read don't encourage me to waste any more time trying to get it to work. I'm content that I have a good way of charging the car simply by plugging it in and I believe that software in the car itself may substitute for some of what the app would have done. To EO.... SORT OUT THE APP! People keep telling you. And when you have - do let me know. I'll try again, then.

Overall happy with the charge point. Requesting the quote and booking the install was a very easy process. The charge point is one of the smaller discrete wall points that I was looking for. Install was straight forward and the local installer was very helpful. App is basic but easy to use.

Charger a neat unit and works well. Some initial teething problems resolved very speedily by Jack in the customer response team. He was especially helpful.

EO approved my application efficiently and answered my queries. The installation date was arranged after my new EV arrived to ensure correct positioning of charger. However, the installation team on arrival were critical of various aspects of the house electrics which turned out to be nothing to do with the charger installation. After that the charger installation went very well and is very neat, they ensured the work area was clean and tidy. I would have given 5 stars if the installation had gone smoother.

I am happy with my new EO Mini Pro charging point, It works well, my only concern is the longevity of the clip that retains the tethered lead when not charging, once the plastic hardens with the elements I wonder how long it will last. I am reasonably happy with the installation, although not completely. The cable doesn't follow the route I had planned, this was due to the installer not having the correct cable to go through a duct underneath a paving stone, this was not the installers fault but the estimator. Installation was carried out efficiently and tidily by Energise Energy and Scott

UPDATE: 5th May - Jack was very receptive to my initial feedback and got on to resolve quickly to deliver a non-branded unit and a date to reinstall. Impressive effort and am genuinely impressed! Really challenging time to get some of the answers I needed, but the staff (Charlie) were really attentive and tried their best to answer all the questions I had quickly. Most of the score is definitely the fact I'm disappointed in seeing the final unit branded with Octopus and non-removable...obviously given the cost it's not something I am happy about. Confident that they'll sort it and more than happy to adjust my score in due course!

The actual quality of the device looks good but sadly the box that sits internally next to the meter was faulty on arrival but the engineer was able to resolve the problem by having the necessary spare in his van. I had a problem which was frustrating on the engineers arrival because as instructed when originally ordering the device I took lots of pictures as instructed some two months before the installation and stated that I didn't have an earth on the main water pipe but nothing was advised to correct this so when the installer arrived on the day of installation he said I would have to get an electrician in to fit an earth. The box itself has to be positioned between set height restrictions (I am presuming that these heights are set by a govt body and not EO themselves) and because i went for the Tethered option (with the cable already attached to the charging unit) the cable just sat on the floor so EO very kindly organised to have a hook fitted above the device to allow me to wrap the cable round and keep it off the floor. This shouldn't be a problem for most users because I believe that most customers are going for just the box and therefore benefit from the really small footprint of the charger so it can be rather discreet unlike some of the other larger units available on the market. So far EO have responded brilliantly to any calls I have made so it appears that they have invested heavily in the quality of their staff. The app is also very good and easy to use

So an update on my earlier review. Whilst my comments on the installation process still stand, I am now 2 months in and Dan from EO couldn't have been more helpful. I ended up needing a charger firmware update and now i have a fully functioning charger. Happy with how EO responded. I still think that the app is very amateurish and looked like it was developed on a Commodore 64. Dan assures me though that an all singing and dancing app is just round the corner. Can't wait. Happy puppy now. Thanks EO
