A Good charger , but connection problems have always been an issue with the unit since installation 2021. Had a type 1 tethered cable. In hindsight, it should’ve been is a type two socket. As ev upgrade to type 2 car mean replacement charger now required and company is slow in providing a replacement cost.

We had charger installed and it worked fine for 12 months (was happy with it ). But it started failing in the very cold weather in dec 2022 (three flashing red lights). When it warmed up it would started working again. But recently it has been going into fault condition more often and I fear will be unusable soon. Sent inquiry to customer support back in dec but no response and continuing to try and get through to them. From other posts it seems like a known/common problem. If this issue was fixed then unit is otherwise ok. UPDATE: Since posting above issue have been in contact with support/Escalations. The unit was removed by installer, I sent back to EO, they fixed whatever component needed replacing, sent back to me and yesterday replaced. All working now (and I hope/trust next winter when it gets cold all will be OK). So I am happy with this outcome (fixed at no expense for me) and have increased rating to 4 (only not 5 because it took until now to get sorted) Am happy with this unit - compact, looks good and now works fully.

EV home who installed were absolutely brilliant, however your app is not good and your customer service starting with the frequency of puerile emails and apparent disinterest of your sales staff almost beggars belief as does your IVR. Communicated both by email and phone.

Yet to get the wireless app connected but we're delighted just to have the charger, so will make a rating on that. The one we purchased was small and minimalist and fits great in the outside space on a brick pillar and looks great. Easy to use, no problems with installation and we liked the installer, all good!

Problem-free installation by a friendly and helpful technician. Only problem is that he had not been advised about the non-existent wi-fi at the installation point, even though it had been mentioned in the initial questionnaire. So unable to complete the linking up with the app. But he did give helpful instructions as to what to do to fix the problem.

Further to my earlier review, Gary from tech support got in touch and was very supportive in getting the charger hooked up. Turns out there was no issue with wifi or connectivity my end, they just had to delete my account at EO and start again. Fired up first time.

Small and compact. Easy to use and the app is ok. Onlt question is the longevity of the plastic case.

The whole process has been good from start to finish, Nick (the installer) was very communicative throughout and the work was completed to an excellent standard and in a timely manner. My best experience with any work done on our house.

Very organised and operationally efficient process. Been waiting 8 months since I bought my ev. Eon professionally dealt with my order. Have a date and met it. I now have a home charger for my ev at last!

Third time lucky The installer did a good job on the third visit due to no fault on his part. First time the charger unit was not delivered so the engineer completed the wiring only and no charger. Second visit wrong charger sent. On the third visit the engineer completed the job with the correct charger. The charger is working fine but not configured with a mobile phone for Remote access. Still waiting for a call back from the Tech team for the last six days.

After an initial communication issue with the provision of the quote the installation went through very smoothly. The installer was professional and efficient, the charger is great and will get lots of use

Getting the charger installed and fitted was straightforward and efficient when the time came. It did take a bit of time from initial enquiry to fitting date agreement but I guess this was due to a number of parties being involved. The charging unit is very neat - all I need now is the EV car which has been delayed by at least two months!

After a false start with the local installer, who just before the end of March 2022 Government Grant deadline advised that they couldn't install it, Ashley from EV Domestic squeezed us in and did a great job. I haven't used it yet but it looks good ! Phil

Really great service. Great, speedy comms. Really appreciated the approved installer requirement, who were also really good. Device is just what I wanted, small and understated. Only delay, on the part of NPN, was due to the storm, which was minimal and totally understandable. Great experience all round. Now just need the car to arrive! :-)
