“From deciding to use Octopus Energy as our supplier, to the install of our compact tethered charger it has been a wonderful, uncomplicated procedure. We received regular communications detailing exactly what to expect. We opted for a tethered charger and load balancing functionality together with the solar matching capability to make effective use of our PV panels and battery. Nice compact charger, installed neatly inside our garage. Easy to control via the app. Just waiting for our Smart meter now so we can take advantage of low early morning tariffs to top up our electric vehicle. Very pleased with the service and at a competitive price too.”

“The actual quality of the device looks good but sadly the box that sits internally next to the meter was faulty on arrival but the engineer was able to resolve the problem by having the necessary spare in his van. I had a problem which was frustrating on the engineers arrival because as instructed when originally ordering the device I took lots of pictures as instructed some two months before the installation and stated that I didn't have an earth on the main water pipe but nothing was advised to correct this so when the installer arrived on the day of installation he said I would have to get an electrician in to fit an earth. The box itself has to be positioned between set height restrictions (I am presuming that these heights are set by a govt body and not EO themselves) and because i went for the Tethered option (with the cable already attached to the charging unit) the cable just sat on the floor so EO very kindly organised to have a hook fitted above the device to allow me to wrap the cable round and keep it off the floor. This shouldn't be a problem for most users because I believe that most customers are going for just the box and therefore benefit from the really small footprint of the charger so it can be rather discreet unlike some of the other larger units available on the market. So far EO have responded brilliantly to any calls I have made so it appears that they have invested heavily in the quality of their staff. The app is also very good and easy to use”

“So an update on my earlier review. Whilst my comments on the installation process still stand, I am now 2 months in and Dan from EO couldn't have been more helpful. I ended up needing a charger firmware update and now i have a fully functioning charger. Happy with how EO responded. I still think that the app is very amateurish and looked like it was developed on a Commodore 64. Dan assures me though that an all singing and dancing app is just round the corner. Can't wait. Happy puppy now. Thanks EO”

“Totally inconspicuous on the wall, really important as I needed it on the front of the house and my wife was adamant that she didn't want what looked like a hosepipe reel by the front door. The process was very easy, I have given it a 4 because it was a bit of a slow start, but once I chased it was really slick. I have been using it for around 4 weeks now and its great, the app is super easy to use the engineer that fitted it was excellent. My advice, don't look anywhere else.”

“EO Mini Pro2. It's the smallest, neatest, smartest solution. If you don't want a big white plastic thing with lights on...this is for you. Nice simple app. (Be patient when registering the app is the only advice I would have, some of the steps take a few seconds..took us a couple of goes, but only about 10 min in total.)”

“The whole experience was superb as regards the advice and the fitter who arrived when booked. The unit was installed within an hour without loosing the power to the house and WiFi (needed for home working). I am recommending the Eo mini pro units to work colleagues.”

“Coordination between EO and its installers disjointed at times leading to short notice intstall cancellation on first occasion. Actual installer (Chris) very good and efficient on the day. Only too pleased to work with me to get a good installation and answer all my set questions. App a bit basic with no provision to input tariff's and estimate cost of each charge”
