Booked ERG Facilities to fix a dipping tap. On arrival subcontracted plumber simply took photos and said these taps can’t be repaired we only replace. Had ERG Facilities been honest at the time of booking I would not have proceeded and not then been charged £150 for 10 minutes of no work/repair. Do not use this company. They also advertise as Faversham Plumbers and no doubt over names.

Very disappointed with your service £150.00 rip-off, called British gas, came out seen f16 fault straight away replaced PCB , and replaced dial button that your engineer broke, as a priority vulnerable person it was fixed within 10 minutes, so why didn't your engineer do the same ? I will be leaving this as a review dissatisfied customer . Good Morning Thanks for your email below and really sorry you feel unsatisfied with the outcome of your bill query. ERG as a business does not charge a call out fee which is engineer’s travelling time. What we charge is diagnostic or actual labour after engineer has attended. We guarantee our work for a month so if you have any issues we can re attend for free provided it relates to the first issue. Any secondary issues will be chargeable. With regards to the charge for engineer’s first visit really sorry this will stand as engineer has attended and carried out diagnostic labour with the agreed rate of £125.00 + vat= £150.00 applied. My name is..........if you care to read my signature, I was told there was no call-out charge if failed to find a fault, as it was as soon as the engineer left the property the fault had reappeared, also after I noticed that the turn dial had been snapped of its place and put back to appear ok it is now rendered useless in adjustment for the temperature this needs to be rectify as I need to change settings regularly because my mother has advanced dementia and wouldn't realise if it scolded her . I await your response.

Engineer didnt do a full check, and said could not repair boiler because parts were not working, which was incorrect. Still charged full price for nothing. Rip off merchants, only interested in screwing as much money out of people as they can. Trading standards should be aware.

They are greedy and dodgy and they say by law it's confidential so they can take you to court for being dodgy they threaten the vulnerable people to overcharge people in time of need, they come to look for the problem and do nothing and charge you by the hour £100 and above

E.R.G Facilities also advertise as Faversham Plumbers on Yell.com. I booked a visit for a dripping kitchen tap. I described the type of tap (Flexible hose) and the problem which I said was probably a washer needing changing. They quoted £125+VAT per hour. Expensive, but they could come next day. On arrival the plumber simply took photos and filled out a form. When I questioned this he said Hose taps don't have washers and have to be replaced. He spent only 10 mins in my house for which I will no doubt be charged £125+VAT. If I had been informed at the time of booking that I would have to pay this for 10 mins and then wait for a replacement tap to be ordered plus additional £125+VAT per hour to fit I would not have booked them.

Charged £174 for a non-existent service After no-showing on two occasions, finally got a engineer in to my house. He spent a total of 5 minutes in my property, didn't even find the fault at my boiler , and been charged £ 174 . Avoid

Took my money, did not arrive to do job as they stated. Not heard from them since. Refused to repay me even though they have not carried out any work. Do not use them!!

I waited for more than 4 hours, when the person came he just looked without touching anything and I was charged £150. He said he was going to talk to the office so that they can send someone. After an hour they rang me and quote me again another £195 when I asked about the £150 I paid, I was told it was for the person who came. So had to cancel after reading reviews.

I telephoned this company in the morning and was told in writing the electrician would be with me before 1500 that afternoon Tuesday September 14 2021. 1500 came and went, 1600 came and went with no sign of the electrician. Taking into account I had paid upfront in the morning this was very poor service. At 1630 an electrician arrived, there was no courteous good afternoon, I'm sorry to be so late. Instead I was faced with an angry young man who clearly did not want to be at my house doing a repair. He was very rough with my thermostat boxes at one point bashing the box closed with his fist on the floor, all it needed was to be closed gently. His attitude to me was so appalling I asked him if someone treated his mother in this way would he think it was acceptable. That was met with further glowering looks but no verbal response. At this point I felt very intimidated and fearful in my own home particularly as I am incapacitated at this time. When he said the work was complete I asked him to hand the boxes he had worked on to me to check they were done properly and showing the correct readings. As I was the customer paying a very expensive amount of money it was totally acceptable to check the boxes before he left the premises. I had the feeling this job may have been given to this person at the last minute and he was not pleased. There was no hesitation in letting me know he was not pleased to be undertaking this repair. I would never use this company again and would not be able to recommend them to other people. I wish I had read the reviews before making the appointment.

What a company do not deal with them, you have to give your card details to them before they will send someone out to you. The electrician was supposed attend before 5pm no one turned up. I rang to cancel as electrician didn’t arrive they put me on hold for 27 minutes and rang again put me on hold for a further 17 minutes so I hung up, just having dinner when engineer arrived told him too late as should of been with us before 5pm although they state no call out charge they still charged £150. All they are is a contact centre supplying workmen DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Absolute shambles! Do NOT use this company! Waste of time. Had an emergency with no heating and hot water due to boiler breaking down at 3:30pm, called ERG based on the reviews and services offered, was given a 4 hour window in which they would attend. Minutes before the 4 hours was up they called to say they couldn't come out that night. They then gave me a GUARANTEE that they would be here the following day between 9-4 and this would be confirmed by email. No email ever arrived. They also put the wrong town in the address which I had to call them to correct. Waited in all day, no engineer turned up. Phoned ERG at 4:05 and they informed me they would call back but they didn't. Phoned again at 4:45 to be told that the engineer wouldn't turn up that day, couldn't offer any assurance that they would be there the next day either. Apparently they couldn't get hold of the engineer to even find out what had happened to him, which I find somewhat unbelievable given todays means of communication. At no point was I contacted by ERG to be updated about the situation, they were vague and disorganised and they wanted to charge £125 an hour + VAT for the privilege of doing absolutely nothing! Appalling service, avoid like the plague. If I could give 0 stars then I would.

Thought my toilet was blocked, phoned for someone to come out and he walked in and said it’s a faulty valve and I was charged £150!!! No work done and not even here 10 minutes. Awful service

Ask for some to come and change gas cooker pie and a radiator move out of my kitchen. He spend 20min removing 1 meter radiator then not even attempt to remove gas pie. Ask for paper sign as he is going to his car to get pie (fittings) remember he is cutting and blocking off gas pie , yet he need pip fittings to do so. After signing his sheet as he insisted he done radiator and this is the second job he will do now. He went in his car and drove away without saying goodbye my work finished. Only couple second later ERG debit my account of £150 pound . Still trying to ask when the rest of jib is completing but no one can give me an answer. They sent me to auto pilot we chat with no hell at all . My kitchen is all shell no unit to move or disconnected cooker just to cut and block the pie and give me a safety certificate that the work has been carried out safety

The staff were very friendly on booking. But be very very careful before undertaking any transactions with this company. The instant the engineer steps over your threshold, you will be charged 1 whole hour @ a massive £125 + VAT. So wish I had read reviews beforehand. Engineer turned up well over one hour later than his given eta. Apparently his 'job' was to confirm the reason I had made the booking in the first place. Not really prepared to do the job needed. Money hungry company. Worst business it has been my misfortune to deal with in my life.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. My shower broke and I got someone out to look at it. I was told over the phone that if the engineer couldn’t fix it they would supply and fit a new one on the same day. The engineer came , told me the shower was broken and left after 10 minutes. I was charged £150 for nothing. I feel completely ripped off.

Don't touch with a barge pole!!! Problems from start to finish, 2 plumbers turned up, 1st admitted to drinking half bottle of beer so hoped I couldn't smell it! While out getting a part 2nd plumber turned up as head office thought 1st had cancelled. After alot if telephone calls 1st plumber did job but there was a slight leak so was going to return. After he left 2nd plumber returned with flowers for me as so much fuss and he fixed leak. I paid bill but told them problem not solved, man on phone said would look into it. Nothing, now they are saying they won't do anything as over 30days which I wasn't told about. Only used them as it was a weekend call and phone got put through to them but would never use them again and would advise anyone else not to either

Rogues. Said 125.00 plus vat and charged 260.00. Just to replace a lock. 2 pensioners have just been robbed. Don't even consider them. Soo angry at the minute. Still waiting on the email to confirm. Job was fine but not for 260.00 and 45 mins

AVOID. Their electrician (if the word can apply) charged £295 to replace a plug socket and fused an entire tenement of 22 flats. According to the network supplier he tampered with the central fuse box which clearly had an 'Authorised Persons Only' sign and even a security wire tie over it. Whilst it is not strictly ILLEGAL, it is certainly not advisable and normally only the Network Distrubuter should attempt.

I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Terrible service and expensive. £190 just to install a cooker, no certificate, and broke a knob. I have been chasing for a broken part for over 2 months
