Booked an engineer for next day by 6pm...no show by 4pm...online chat said still finding an engineer. I then get a call to say an engineer was booked, but couldn’t come. Terrible customer service. Avoid.

BEWARE OF ERG CHEATING COMPANY This is no professional company run by call centers cheating people during the first visit and not even diagnosing the problem. Dont regret your decision after calling them. Stay away from them. They will come and they sound in 2 mins that they have sorted the problem. But in reality the issue will still be there and you might have to call them again and again. Thats the way they do things. Pls be beware of them.

Had terrible service from this company. Was 2 days without any source of heating or hot water and kept stressing I had a young child. My appointment was delayed by 18 hours, when eventually someone turned up he disappeared a with a few minutes to “get parts” at 1.30pm and didn’t return! No phone call or any notification as to where the engineer went. I contacted the company at least on 6 occasions and no one could get hold of the engineer or resolve my issue. One advisor said he may not have been able to find the parts and then may have moved onto the next job! Requested two call backs from managers didn’t receive any call. Worst service ever and such unhelpful staff. This company suck you with quick timescales which they are far from able to work towards. Wait a little while and find another company. 2 days later I still have no gas and no call to explain the terrible service! Do not use this company.

Very rarely do I have experiences with companies as bad as this. Was told it would be £150 to replace a pressure release valve. Turned out to just be the call out fee and charged us another £150 to replace it. After next going to the property the pressure release valve had been replaced but we had no hot water at all and had made the problem worse. ERG said it would be fixed on their 'snag' policy. Only to find that an unauthorised charge of £147.50 had been charged to our card and they are refusing to refund. We had no phone call, no email and no invoice - they just dipped their hand in and took the money. I rang up to ask for a refund of this charge but refused to speak to me (phone calls only reserved for new customers) and directed me towards the 'live' chat. The live chat turns out to not be very live at all. With each message from ERG taking around 5+ minutes to come through. After 90 minutes on live chat and not getting very far at all, they have still not fixed the problem and refused to issue the refund. In the end we got a local boiler engineer in who fixed the entire problem including the part of £120 (and no call out fees). Will now be taking ERG to the small claims court to retrieve the money.

Uodate to my earlier review: If you're unhappy with this company, go after them through your bank. I received my money bank through Visa, who agreed with me that this job should not have been carried out..... assuming they did it at all. Who knows?

Very unhappy with my experience. I asked for a boiler service at the home of a vulnerable tenant, I was explicit in asking for the engineer to call me when he attended the address, this did not happen. The boiler was playing up and not providing hot water on all occasions, the display clearly said SERVICE, and I requested the engineer to attend, carry out a full service along with a general assesment of the heating system. The engineer arrived 2 hours late and was on site around 20mins, the boiler was simply reset and NO service was carried out. No paperwork was left on site, and I was subsequently debited £150 for around 20min visit to the house. I contacted ERG Facilties with my complaint, despite giving them opportunty to put this right, they have been very dismissive of both the service NOT being done, as well as not providing an explanation why the engineer did not calling me when on site. The complaint team has commented that a 'full investigation' of my query has been carried out and they have refused to even consider a partial refund of the £150 charge. I am now takng this up with the ombudsman. AVOID !!

DO NOT ISE THIS COMPANY. THE ENGINEER CAME AND LOOKED AROUND LEFT IS WITH NO HEATING AND THEN FORGOT TO COME BACK. DID RETURN THE NEXT DAY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM. STILL WAITING A MONTH FOR A NEW PART TO BE FITTED. We are front line workers living with nee heat due to this company

Erg facilities ltd send me a engineer to service my boiler and check it £150 normally £70 £90to service a boiler find a fault £174 he was there less than an hour couldn’t fix it not the engineer fault a ripoff beware

Power failure in a one bed flat of my deaf uncle, engineer stayed 2 hrs at the cost of exactly £300 to tell us he need flat rewiring and would contact us the next morning, following day i rang them 4 times and still nothing, they kept saying they were waiting for the engineers report, this started 4 days ago, they left him with NO lighting, hes 72 years old and deaf since birth. Called an independent electrician who is working on the job right now and has just informed me the flat definitely does not need rewiring and that a few light fittings need changing and one socket needs replacing.....Avoid this expensive, lying rip off company, £125 an hour plus vat to stare at a fuse box and unplug a few wall sockets!

Stay away from these jokers, came round to do two jobs, at the door said they have told the office that one of them was not possible but was then charged £160 for it, for nothing... Then said they needed a part for so something else and that I would hear from them the next... Spent a week being directed to Web chat to email to phone and back round... It was only when I googled their complaints that I saw the rougue traders videos... Paid £310 for nothing and now have to go somewhere else..... STAY AWAY

Absolutely shocking. Didn't get my email address right and I was not informed via email nor verbally that if their engineer set foot on my premises that I would be charged almost £200 . Engineer was not wearing a face mask and was on my premises for 5 minutes and I asked him to leave and was still charged £198.00. Only received the email with the terms and conditions 2 days after the engineer was here. Completely shocked at the daylight robbery

Shockingly unprofessional company. Didn't attend job and ignored my request for call back as to why. Cancelled job and asked my card details deleted. Instead, they turned up at the empty property two days after job was booked for and did it anyway. Avoid at all costs, you won't regret it.

Do not use this company please google ERG and checkout rouge traders 2018 you will be scammed if you use them.
