“13 years no claims with 3 cars at one point. 52 years old £470 last year renewal this year £933 rang up and this is the best we can do. A quote off of go compare £647 and more covered on this policy too, keys, rental car, car breakdown to name a few. Absolutely ridiculous that it was basically double. Loyalty means nothing these days”
“Been with them for two years. Been paying by monthly D.D. I sold the car and attempted to cancel the policy. Live chat kept cutting off. So go through the whole process again with another operator. Only to be cut off again. Finally stayed on long enough to be told the policy will be cancelled that day. But as usual, before we could exchange thank you and goodbye, live chat went down again. Admin fee to pay. No problem,I expected that. Would hear within 8 to 10 days. After a week I cancelled my D.D just in case they tried to take it out again. Two weeks later I receive a letter DEMANDING payment. Unless I paid the policy would be cancelled. You couldn't make it up.
So I have no idea if the policy has now been cancelled. I have no idea just how much I owe them? I have no idea if they are still attempting to charge me for a policy on a car I haven't owned for two months?
For this reason I cannot recommend esure Ans I certainly wouldn't use them again. Imagine trying to deal with a claim?”

“Took out my policy in April with esure paid each month by direct debit card and then last month they said I had missed a payment so paid 2 months only to receive a email on Friday saying that they had cancelled my policy for not paying payment I phoned them up and the woman said that I had missed April payment as it is paid in arrears they never told me that as if they had I would have paid it I have never been so ill treated I'm absolutely disappointed that esure are aloud to treat people like this I will never go with them again the worst thing is I'm in I'll health and to just have an email sent well they are aloud of scammers”

“Esure sent me an e-mail advising that my insurance would autorenew and I didn't need to do anything - imagine my surprise when the direct debit hadn't been collected from my account a few days later only to find that my insurance had not been renewed and my car was not insured for nearly a week. “My vehicle was hit while parked on MY drive. No one in attendance of my vehicle either. ESure state the car was a right off but did not pay any money at all. Then they claimed it was a category N. Not having seen the vehicle or studied its condition how do they arrive at such assumptions. They are without a doubt a bunch of fools, still very wet behind the ears. Avoid if you want to save your sanity - something they do not have unfortunately. Buying cheap does not mean excellent service or cover, means you will suffer when you require assistance and help. “Absolutely terrible - please, for the sake of your sanity - do not sign up with this company. We are out thousands of pounds because they couldn't cover what they claim they could - and we just want nothing more to do with them. Twice now we have had instances where we needed to make claims for emergency home issues - and both times they told us they could, and didn't do anything and in the end said that it wasn't covered. All this with a small child, and nothing to do to help.”

“One of their customers hit my van in August 2023. They accepted fault, I gave them everything they asked for and they stopped responding by the end of September. They completely cut contact since, not answering emails or phones. I honestly do not understand how these criminals are allowed to operate in the UK. It's been 3 months since I wrote to their complaints department with no answer. Will claim with the financial ombudsman today, fingers crossed.”
