As ETX is the only trading platform I have used, it is impossible to compare with others but overall, I have found it efficient and responsive. Support team is helpful and tolerant with a beginners issues! The web page is informative and easy to use. Thank you.

Whilst I think your platform is good, your customer service is very poor. My first example of poor service is that I have been receiving costs for transactions that I have not entered into. Although the charges are small it has taken weeks to get a response from your customer services. This issue still remains unresolved. Secondly I wanted to install Autochartist onto my platform and could not see how to do this, so I emailed customer service and got an immediate response, but could not follow the instructions on the platform. I then emailed back for further help and to date I have again not received a response. It's okay now because I have gone to another site to refer to their Autochartist.

There are quite few things I couldn't find or they appear not to work on MT4 platform or I would prefer it working a different way, e.g. cannot amend order once placed (e.g. comments); don't want the platform to save automatically but rather to ask me before I close the window or change profile; cannot find segment line or make arrows longer/narrower; cannot setup order when the market is closed; didn't find out how to extend the chart vertically without moving it around; would prefer double click on currency pair to open its chart rather than order setup window; it appears I need to have ALL charts open in order for the application to remember my setups (trendlines, notes etc) for each pair but I would prefer just to double click the pair and it would open with all my lines - so far if I do it this way then it will use my current settings for all charts I open in the same window; it would be much better to have the volume (while setting up the order) in the currency I am using rather than in lots (?); stop and target to be in pips not only current price; I couldn't find out how to get the current price above/below the horizontal line without setting it up manually as a description etc. All mentioned works in eSignal which I am currently using along with MT4 platform.

Hi I think the Pip Calc is an excellent tool. It would be a good improvement to have it that once you have entered the entry and stop loss into the Pip Calc, then the New Order tab is automatically filled in too. This would save recapturing. Another improvement would be that your monthly profit/loss statement should all be stated in your account currency as well as the actual trade currencies. Thanks Peter Horn

Etx is a good platform with which I am a client. I have a few problems that are holding you guys back. - I have a Trader Pro Account but I do not do any chart analysis on you charting platform as it is basic at best. Looking at something like tradingview.com where not only get more history than your charts, but has more options, free, better performance, the same charts can be viewed on Ipads, Andriod tablets with all the drawings unlike your mobile versions. - Need to add some main crypto currency pairs like BTC/USD LTC/USD ect. - Need 0.1 or at least 0.5 amount on the dax like you have on the sp500 and gold - Andriod platform crashes a lot and you can't set default settings on the charts, it always goes to 1min chart which is not helpful.

There are very occasional problems with my monthly statements otherwise I would have given a five star rating. There spreads are reasonably tight and I have never had execution problems. I like being able to bet less than one pound per point on volatile commodities like gold.

Platform not always the easiest to work with when amending orders.

Charts could be better on an I pad, allowing lines etc to be used Commission and overnight charges are complicated as there is no standard rule that I have worked out easy to place trade orders and mobile apps are good to monitor live trades when running

The TraderPro platform is nearly very good, but unfortunately its lack of historic data is the primary cause of my dissatisfaction. What I need is more data, especially on the smaller timeframes. The 5 minute to 30 minute timeframe only offers 2 weeks of data, which is very poor. And the slightly larger timeframes 60M to 240M only offer 4 months. The forex futures is even worse: the daily and weekly only offer 5 months of data. This is simply too poor to consider using. Otherwise the user interface is a pleasure to use.

I trade with ETX on the MT4 platform. At the moment I only trade small amounts to test the performance of the platform/broker, before committing serious money. To date, I am very impressed with the stability of the system, and at the moment no slippage. This is the single biggest reason for a trader rejecting a broker, in my opinion, and this will be tested with larger lots over the coming weeks, but, so far, so good. If I can trade with no/little slippage of orders, I will be closing down other brokerage accounts and transferring funds to ETX. Happy trading. Happy to discuss any matters. Ray Zerafa

My spread trading company of choice and I have recently shifted most of my funds from another provider after testing out for a while. 1. Tight spreads (who wants to trade markets out of hours anyway?). I like that spread on commodity futures is close to daily rolling spread, so avoiding daily financing charges. 2. Customer service is pretty good. A payment went missing (fault of my bank) and they stayed in regular contact seeking to work it out. Polite leading to mutual respect rather than delusions of Gordon Gekko as I have experienced elsewhere. 3. Website works efficiently and I find trades are executed quickly. Have had no experience of slippage issues. 4. No messing about with taking money out, which is reassuring. 5. iPhone and iPad apps are pretty good with room for improvement. Cons (take note ETX): 1. Charting on web platform is poor. I use other software for charting (MT4 with another company) and the free daily Real Time Pro. I think if you are serious should use a specialist chart provider anyway, but ETX really could improve. 2. Bonuses are very unattractive. You would have to massively overtrade your account to come close to getting the benefit of it, unless you are a crazed repetitive scalper. How about some sensible loyalty bonus for swing traders and position traders who keep to sensible risk limits, to show you are not just trying to recruit account-blowers? 3. Education, news etc is nothing special compared to competitors. Morning video update is, frankly, crap.

Good mobile platform, average execution. Spreads are quite good in normal hours but very uncompetitive during non-standard hours eg wall street 6 point spread!

Platform is good compared to another one I use but i don't use it often as to limitation of my capital. As i usually trade the daily charts i don't have the capital yet to take a lot of trades because of the stop loss needed. Would have been great for people like me who don't have a large capital base to be able to trade at 10p a point. Also the android app could do with some improvement. The charts always crash

Excellent platform and range of markets. Also appreciate the ability to trade small sizes which enables scaling in and out of postions and taking partial profit. I would like to see near and far quarter contracts in commodities as you do in forex. This would give me the ability to trade the contract with the most open interest.
