“Solid trading support and platform but average and, sometimes, poor admin support. Also, you could sharpen up on withdrawal payments. IG guarantee a same day chaps payment if you notify them by 10am and the funds are deducted almost immediately. Etx, unofficially, recommend thay clients request funds the previous day. Maybe there aren't enough support staff to payments process like IG. Also, it's frustrating that funds aren't deducted until after 2pm and confirmation emails aren't sent until much later in the day.”

“Overall really good. I use a number of platforms and like many aspects of ETX. Would like to see stops and limits displayed against the open positions rather than needing to expand the position to see and edit the orders. Other than that, clean, simple, intuitive, really good ;)”

“Great education programme, especially the training given by Barry Norman. The usefulness of the programme is also being enhanced as more recordings are being made available. The customer service is very good, as is the platform content. There are however, technical challenges with the platform. Grant Harris”

“Hi, I really like the platform, it's easy to use and a pleasant interface to look at. I wish the spreads were a little tighter on some fx pairs and indicies, and also that there were micro lots so I can enter smaller prices on larger trades. Once I've built my account on another platform that does allow smaller entry prices I will be able to place more trades on ETX but until then I will be priced out of using this platform as much as I'd like.”

“What I like: Platform ease of use, Speed of execution is excellent Ability to display multiple tickets is valuable for my trading style Ariel charts are nice and clear In hours spreads for the indices are good Customer services personnel are almost certainly the most friendly team I've spoken to Speed of fund transfers in and out of my account Tabs for account history, transactions etc is very good Occasional calls from my account manager What I think could be improved The colour scheme of the platform, or the ability to change this (red on black background in the wrong light is a nightmare!) The ability to sort open positions into chronological order I don't like the android app. Columns need to be customisable, and again ability to sort needs to be improved Overall pretty pleased with everything. I do use other providers but actually currently the majority of my trading goes through ETX”

“Very good platform overall does not lag much or crash, think the charting software could be a bit better. Possibly the ability to open multiple charts simultaneously of an instrument from different time frames would be very useful? Very quick to load and, easy to navigate , hence good timing for exit and entry. ETX has competitive spreads and a vast product list increasing the scope to make profits. In general a simple, effective and practical platform. 8/10 ****”

“For what its worth :-) - Web Application I find your web application fast efficient and easy to use. Speed of execution and locking prices is of paramount importance and your web app is very good in this respect. Your charts are also very detailed though I tend to use metatrader from another provider that I do the bulk of my trading with. Your spreads are tight also which is another plus point. Order entry was intuitive (negative stop setting), though not as easy to follow as other providers, but you get the hang of it soon enough. All in all, a good experience on the web. - Android Application This is where etx lets itself down. Recently the android app has been crashing on me, This happens at various points, though did not use to happen a month or so back. In the past, using your charts would crash the app, but now it seems even viewing and amending orders is leading to crashes. Its come to the point where it has become un-useable. This needs looked at immediately or it will turn people away from your service. - General Your incentives, e.g. bonus offers, are not as good as other providers, one of the main reasons I have not increased funds on this account. “I think the platform is good and have no complaints or major complaints. I think the trading platform is straight forward to use but it falls behind the quality and functionality offerred by E-Signal which in my opinion is streets ahead of everyone else. I have a small concern in that I learned that all trade orders placed go through a trading desk rather than a deskless direct system. It is possible that this factor is a speed disadvantage compared to other platforms that are direct.”

“Overall I have found the platform to be really good. It is visually appealing and I very seldom get freezes. I have only ever experienced one mistake on my account. The iPhone Application however is not as good and I have experienced multiple freezes using this however it appears to be improving.”
