“Just a couple of issues. 1. The charting software I have is much more price action sensitive then your bid/ask platform. Also when submitting an order ticket sometimes there are restrictions when entering the execution, stop or target price I think these 2 issues could be areas of improvement. other then that the platform works well.”

“The best spread betting broker by far. Good spreads, choice of platform including MT4 and good customer support. The educational section is also a great help to new traders. Good solid strategies from one of the few honest trader education companies. Small stakes for new traders. Regulated with the relevant authorities so your account is protected. All round a great offer - no negatives in the time I have used them.”

“The platform is very good. I notice that the chart allows traders to place and modify their trades very easily. In addition, interaction with the charts are very smooth. This is a point that I have not seen in any other platform. However, ETX should concentrate more on your "News" function as news is very important to traders. I notice recently there is a website called my.etxcapital.co.uk where lots of information can be found. ETX should spend more effort making traders aware of that website.”

“I asked ETX Capital about the resolution of my account page because I can only see three lines of Forex instruments when apparantly their Tech people can see around 10. i was told it is my computer that's at fault but I believe it is ETX Capital's design of their pages which is at fault. So not very impressed at the moment”

“After using IG for some time (still got accounts with them) the platform took a bit of getting used to. Charts aren,t as user friendly as IG and it's more difficult to alter stops and limits. The spreads are better and that's why I will continue with this platform. If the spreads get too close to IG I would convert all my business back. Overall though, very pleased I persevered! Thanks, John”

“The platform is simple and easy to navigate, with all required information well laid out. Trade execution is quick and trades are generally closed at the first attempt with no need for a resubmission. Other broker platforms I have used can be difficult to navigate and thus errors from the user are more prevalent on these platforms and largely non existent on ETX. Some reduction of spreads would be of benefit on the non major currencies, as day trading is not always realistic when operating with tight stops. Best regards John”

“The platform is for good and convenient in such a way that you can put your order even before the markets open on Sunday, through this it has make my life so simple as I'm always busy during the week. and the service that etxcapital provide is absolutely phenomenal, what ever your enquiring about the response is meet with great assistance and humility, Personally I would strongly recommend to anyone looking to trade freely.”

“I would like to see a take profit target on the order page. I would also like my chart to be maximised on my screen when I click on it and not for me to have to move it then maximise which all takes time. Of course I would like tighter spreads on pairings with the AUD as I seem to like that currency but I won't hold my breath for that one. Thanks for reading.”

“I find ETX a very user friendly platform that is easy to use. Having the option of the app on my phone is also a bonus. The couple of times I've had to call customer support my query was handled quickly and efficiently. I just wish my results on FX were as successful as my experience with ETX.”

“ETX ARE UP THERE WITH THE OTHER RELIABLE PLATFORMS. BUT THERE ARE SOME ISSUES WHICH I FIND ANNOYING AND FRUSTRATING. MOST OF IT COMES DOWN TO TECHNOLOGY (DOESN'T EVERYTHING!) AND I THINK A FEW TWEAKS HERE AND THERE WOULD MAKE FOR AN EVEN BETTER EXPERIENCE FOR THE AVERAGE TRADER. FIRST OFF THE BAT, THAT BLACK BACKGROUND!! NOW, ITS TRUE THAT I'M ON THE WRONG SIDE OF 30, BUT THAT BLACK BACKGROUND CAN BE SO ANNOYING, ESPECIALLY ON MOBILE DEVICES, WHERE THE SCREEN DETAILS CAN BE INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT TO READ IN ALL BUT THE PERFECTLY LIT ENVIRONMENT. IF THERE'S A WAY TO CHANGE IT, I HAVEN'T FOUND IT. IT JUST SEEMS LIKE SOMEONES BRIGHT(?) IDEA FOR NO APPARENT REASON. GOD KNOWS HOW WE'VE MANAGED ALL THESE YEARS WITH BLACK WRITING ON WHITE PAPER, WHICH, BIZARRELY SEEMS SO EASY TO SEE!! TRADERS DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO CHECK MARGINS EVERY TIME THEY MAKE A TRADE!! AGAIN, ON A MOBILE DEVICE, THIS CAN BE CHALLENGING ENOUGH IN ITSELF. WHY NOT PUT AUTOMATIC TRIGGERS IN PLACE THAT GIVE AN INSTANT ERROR MESSAGE IF YOUR TRADE WONT BE FILLED DUE TO MARGIN REQUIREMENTS. COME ON, ITS NOT THAT HARD TO DO. ONE NOTABLE PLATFORM (**, PUT YOUR GUESS HERE) HAS ALWAYS HAD THAT FUNCTION. I'VE HAD SEVERAL OCCASIONS IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS WHERE MY TRADES WERN'T PLACED AND ITS VERY FRUSTRATING, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU SEE THE 'TRADE' GOING YOUR WAY, ONLY TO FIND AN EMAIL WAITING FOR YOU A FEW MINUTES LATER, SAYING THAT YOUR TRADE GOT PULLED. AGAIN, A VERY SIMPLE TECHY ADJUSTMENT. FINALLY, FOR NOW, I DONT SEE WHY I SHOULD HAVE TO PROVE ANYTHING ABOUT WHO I AM OR WHERE MY WITHDRAWALS ARE GOING, IF I DECIDE TO TAKE FUNDS OUT. ETX HAVE A FAIRLY ROBUST METHOD OF OPENING ACCOUNTS WITH INDIVIDUALS, AND THAT SHOULD BE QUITE SUFFICIENT WHEN IT COMES TO WITHDRAWALS. IF ITS NOT, THEN ADD FURTHER SCRUTINY TO THE ACCOUNT-OPENING PROCEDURE. I DO OBJECT TO HAVING TO PROVE THAT THIS IS MY BANK ACCOUNT, WHEN ITS ALREADY BEEN USED TO FUND MY ETX ACCOUNT!! come on people!! sort it out! AND FINALLY, FINALLY, FOR ALL THE ABOVE, I SHALL CONTINUE TO USE ETX AS MY PREFERED SB PLATFORM. THE SPREADS ARE BETTER AND THERE IS CLARITY ABOUT THE WAY THE SITE WORKS (MOSTLY) HOPE YOU FOUND THIS USEFUL ZANTEAN”

“I have traded with ETX for over a year now and the staff are always helpful. The platform is very good easy to use and above all has good execution. You can trade stocks,fx,indeces, shares all on one platform. I have never eperienced any odd behaviour and things happen just as you expect them to. This gives you the confidence you need to have when trading with real money.”
