“BEWARE of Eventim - customer service(s) and tickets issuing are probably run by one and the same person or a very small collective of people.
I booked tickets to Rammstein concert 3 years ago. After a lot of life in between, I moved address since the couple of cancellations we have had. Eventim sent the concert tickets to my old address without checking in to confirm my address. Luckily i only moved a few streets, the new tenants kept my mail and answered the door when I came to knock.
First of all, Eventim are supposed to send the tickets recorded, so that they do not get lost in the post. Also, under their T&Cs they mention to inform you when tickets get posted. I have not received a notification and somehow the letter has been delivered to my old address without myself present to sign for it! Actually it was left in the communal area - I doubt it was sent recorded.
Secondly, I did email Eventim but no one ever replied to me. The day before the concert I tried ringing the customers services (following their 24-h rule as per Eventim T&Cs). Every 5min 25 sec the line cuts and you need to ring again. I persistently tried 8 times without any luck.
I understand that the company has probably had to cut the number of its customer service staff and they are probably snowed under with calls from people calling to cancel because they have fallen ill or asking all sorts of questions. Maybe even wondering which address the tickets have been sent.. Regardless, this level of service is unjustifiable and worth avoiding.
To summarise - Rammstein 2022 concert aka my last ever concert tickets purchased via Eventim.”
“We arrived arrived at city hall Newcastle to see lost in music early I asked security what time the show started I was told 8.50. We missed half of the show because we were given the wrong information. It actually started at 7.30. I have e-mailed the city hall & Eventim. No reply off either. Absolutely disgraceful customer service.”
“Be aware that this company when they cancel a show they don't refund any fees paid they have charged you when you bought the ticket. Of course this is part of their terms and conditions but this is a behaviour I wasn't expecting of such a major player in event ticket selling. Instead of charging penalty to the promoter, they keep money from their customer. Over last year (mostly because of Covid) a lot of show were cancelled and any other small or major company like Ticketmaster, AXS and ATG refunded in full. There is so many company that put their customer interest first that why would you support Eventim which act which such behaviour? You recognise the value of a company in those situation, not when everything goes as plan. For me this is the proof of their now low value.”
“Do not use this company, customer service is nonexistent and at best tragically awful. Have postponed a concert and we can’t attend the rescheduled concert.. it’s proving to be a nightmare to get a refund. DO NOT USE .”
“It was not until the very last click to buy that it was shown that they charge a booking fee and another fee for e mailing for each ticket even though i booked them together.”
“They rescheduled the event 3 times over 3 years then when offered the refund and I accepted the had the audacity to keep my a percentage of the money for fees and postage when they never posted anything! Customer service is diabolical and managers don't want to know AVOID using them!”

“First they charged £2.50 for a mobile ticket. Then I wanted to book a second ticket and change the original booking so we could sit together. Lots of seats were still available. Their process was so complicated and time consuming it was not worth the effort. It isn't like I wanted a refund, I wanted to give them more money for gods sake.”
“Rang for replacement season tickets on 03/12 for game on 08/12. Called again on 07/12 and was told "they have been posted to the club." Arrived at club for game , and no tickets.
Rang club on 14/12, still no tickets. This is a company that will LIE to you, they are as much use as a chocolate fireguard. I do no trust this "company" to send the tickets or even have the moral grace to refund the cost in good will.”
“Please be aware when booking tickets through eventim! I booked harry styles tickets back in may under my sisters name as it was her debit card being used to pay and the tickets were for her. 2 months later in July I was trying to book ed sheeran tickets this time under my friends name as same again it was her card we were paying with. Eventim then changed the full account name to my friends name and printed the harry styles tickets with her name on. We are now being told without her my sister cannot enter the concert!”
