“I am new to digital cameras and thought you guys forgot the Memory Card. I now have to read up on what type of card to get..... I realize this is not your fault and apparently this is standard practice. Might be an idea to point this out to future customers that the card is not included and you could suggest a card and charge them for one. So I wonder how many customers get this let down, other newbies like me, when you open up a gift you can't use. Now I will have to wait, how many weeks? Shut down. For a card.”

Hi John, Digital cameras rarely come with memory cards, as each user has different needs. We always have an "in the box" section which specifies what's included.
