They let themselves down initially but came good eventually voucher took nearly 2 weeks to be dispatched then they had to send it first class after I had emailed them twice about it

I love my snake, but if I may make a suggestion is to check your animals and make sure their free of all parasites such as snake mites because I'm currently treating my snake for them.

Hi Karen, I'm sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied with our service. Your order was delayed due to the freezing overnight temperatures that we experienced at the start of February. Shipping invertebrates when the temperatures are well into the minuses, would put them at significant risk. We did communicate this by email and on several occasions to all our customers. I'm sorry that the timing of this coincided with your sons birthday present, but I'm sure you can appreciate that animal welfare will and must always be a priority for us. Best regards Chris

Had no idea when my order was coming, 2 dead roaches with 7 left and 1 dead locust. Far from lively bugs that were overpriced for what they were.

Hi Rosie, I'm sorry to hear about you having some trouble with your order. When orders are shipped, our system will automatically notify you (by email) that your order is on it's way. By logging into your account, you will also be able to access tracking information. Would love to rate higher, but there was a distinct lack of communication on Exotic-Pets behalf. I waited almost a week for my order to ship, and it only shipped because I asked to find out what was going on. Turns out one of the items was not in stock, a replacement was offered so that my order could finally be shipped. Would have been nice to know either before or slightly after ordering that an item was not available, but suitable replacements had been found. Otherwise, I have no idea how long my order would have been waiting for the correct item to be delivered before finally being shipped. Besides that, everything was in order and I will most likely use them again if I need to order similar products :)

Rate you a three for 1 item being missing and can't remember if I had been refunded my money and another time I was missing another item but i was refunded for that.

Provided me with what I asked for and the animal arrived healthy and in a good container. Delivered it a few hours early and in healthy condition.

Hi Waide, I have spoken to my colleagues regarding this situation, my understanding is that we spoke to you prior to the shipping your order and it was made clear that we only had a couple left in stock and that we believed these to be male. You told us this was fine and that you wanted to go ahead with the order as normal. You then called the day you received the animal, asking what sex it was again. As a different person answered the phone, to who packed the order, we suggested that you send over some photographs by email so we could assist you with your enquiry. Having checked our records, it would appear that unfortunately you have never sent any photographs over. Please contact me on 01246 568390 so I can get this resolved for you. Thanks, Chris

I am usually happy with my purchases. On this occasion I ordered two boxes of mario worms and two boxes of dubia roaches. When it arrived I had four boxes but one box was empty missing the dubia roaches.

Made a purchase of 2 fire-bellied toads. Came in great visible health and good courier service. However, these toads were specifically described as green with red bellies and I received fairly brown toads with pale yellow bellies. Of course I understand this species can have brown colouring, this was not stated on the site, but is not a big deal. But their yellow bellies that should be vibrant orange/ red is very dissapointing as this implies they recieved a low carotene diet and will be hard or impossible to bring their red colour out. Overall, a mostly positive experience.

This species is quite varied, especially in captive bred specimens and we've even made a note about this belly colouration within our care sheet. Hi Pawel, I think this might have been a typo or a mistake. This order was delayed for 1 week due to extreme cold weather during February. We emailed all customers with outstanding orders to advise of the delay and that we would send their order out as soon as it was safe to do so. Please understand that we do this to prevent any risk to the livestock. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thanks

My last 2 orders i got exactly what i asked for :) My 3rd order i ordered XL locusts and recieved small to medium locusts!! Not happy :(

Snake came in a quick amount of time. Seems very healthy no problems so far. However when the snake came it talks you ehat size mice it ate an how many times a week to feed it. Again all good. Until we tried feeding him. They told us to give him fluffs. Well 3 days later he still Can't eat them. They're way too big for him to eat. Had to go an order pinkies which he ate without a problem. If places sell these pets to people my advice to them is give the right advice to customers. They shouldn't have to find it them a&e. Especially on the food your meant to be feeding him on.

Hello I have only had one order as yet and am still waiting for another.the first delivery came within and I fact before the stated time the only problem I had was that the heat mat the company provides to keep in my case spiders Walm was less than useless but the spiders have fed very well since having them and the company wer really nice regarding all my emails about care sheets and general information so over all I'd say 8 out of 10 and would order again.thats if my next order comes safe and healthy all in all a nice experience with the company

We’re sorry to hear you’ve had anything but a positive experience when shopping with us. Heat packs are pumped by hand until they start to emit heat before placing them in any animal boxes. We pack all orders carefully and send them all on priority services to cut transit times to a minimum.
