“My live stock delivery was all dead”

Hi Jake, I'm very sorry to hear your unhappy with our service. However, I've just looked into the details of this order and can see what you actually ordered was 'live food' and not 'livestock'. Unfortunately, it would appear that you missed Royal Mail's original delivery and then didn't attempt to collect the parcel for several days from the sorting office. As we have already explained to you, bulk bags of insects are packaged for short term transport and need to be re-housed upon arrival. They need food, water and suitable temperatures (like any other living creature). We dispatched fresh and healthy live food promptly via a 1st class service, the demise of the insects was purely down to you not collecting them from the sorting office. I don't believe this to be a fault of ours, which is why I'm disputing the negative review that you have left. I will happily discuss this matter further with you and explain in more detail why the above points are so important. Thanks Chris

“I ordered a young boa constrictor from exotic pets. Had no issues regarding transaction, check out was simple. Delivery is on a Thursday, courier collected from exotic pets the Wednesday, I got a phone call Wednesday evening off the courier letting me know a time slot. Thursday morning the courier phoned me to let me know he was in my area, signed for etc and my snake was well packaged with a little heatpack which kept her warm. I slowly put her in her vivarium and left her alone for a couple of days. She's just shed her skin today well and she is very tame, we love her to bits! she's a lovely addition to our family. If we decide to purchase another reptile I know where to look :)”

“Although I was slightly unhappy for a split second regarding my purchase. I bought a tiger salamander and thought it would look like the one in the picture advertised on site. She didn't. Instead she's got a beautiful spotted pattern. I'm absolutely besotted. Spotty is unbelievably beautiful. After a gorgeous salamander the next best thing about buying from you was the "instant" courier. To buy a vertebrate you usually have to book a month in advance. Hard work when you don't know what might come up for sale. That's all taken care of here though. My salamander arrived in tip top shape. I was worried as it was a really hot day and thought she might have suffered. Nope. Well packed and she was eating right out of the box. Thank you so much.”

“The packaging was nicely secured as well as making sure that the spider inside was safe. The spider was in a secure container and arrived in pristine condition and is doing extremely well. Will definitely be ordering more in the future.”
