“What we loved: China is an amazing country. Its growth in the last 25-30 years has been immense, and yet it has maintained its sense of community and society.
What we appreciated: Our guides. They were very informative and knowledgeable.
What annoyed us: There was a minority of people who wanted to travel around some of the places on their own, which is fine. What was not fine was how they used the guides to find out how to use the metros to get to places. The guides are for people doing the trip and not for personal assistance for those individuals who want to travel independently. A few people were also rude, saying they could not understand some of the guides. However, if they stopped talking and asking guides irrelevant questions then they might have understood what was being said. Despite this, the guides did really well to be patient and to make sure that everyone had a good time.”

“Our first Exoticca holiday to China exceeded all our expectations. China is absolutely amazing, the people are so welcoming and friendly, the cities are vibrant, colourful and full of life, the food is superb, the culture and history is rich and the sites and scenery are stunning.
Everything for our trip was very well organised and our hotels were excellent. Our guides Bryan, Kenny, Kevin and Louis were very knowledgeable and helpful. Kevin in particular was a character and cheerfully kept us entertained (top marks). These guides were essential for getting us all in and out of the sites in the most expediate way, even at the airports.
Take heed though, because this holiday included some very early starts and long days. Get to know your itinerary in advance and be prepared! Being a tourist can be hard work!
Think of it as being akin to a school trip but for adults.

“Just the best holiday ever. Trip to Egypt and the Nile cruise was a fantastic mixture of sightseeing and relaxing watching the world go by.
Really well organised and our guide Waghi was amazing and exceeded my expectations.
So knowledgeable about everything. We never usually book an organised trip, but doing something like this tour sewing the pyramids and monuments, you actually need a guide as you would miss so much !!.
Also combining a Nile trip allowed some downtime just to sit on a boat and watch everyday life pass you by whilst cruising, it was an unexpected pleasure.

Some flights involved the journey from one airport and return to another. She sorted this out. In addition flights also involved long time for connecting flights. She again managed to find flights with sorter time on the connecting flights. The booking was kept on hold for.a day for us to decide on the trip. Moreover, she applied vouchers to our trip.
