Just booked but already a nightmare getting any response from customer services. Makes me wonder what I've paid for!

Booked a trip to Jordan having abandoned booking a trip to South Africa. The reason being that initially the price is good, then you get to the extras and the site for both trips is really confusing as to whether some of the extras are included in the standard trip or need to be added. The South Africa trip was particularly obscure. Even the Jordan trip is very unclear- why would I need to book a meal on arrival when I arrive at 1 am? And why would I need to pay £120 for early access to my room when I am arriving late anyway. Is this just a ruse to get money? It should certainly be much more clear. On the positive side the tour looks interesting. I’m will write a review again when in return, in the mean will book the South Africa trip elsewhere

Hello Gary, Thank you for your review. We would like to highlight that an early check-in is sometimes requested when guests arrive on late flights, to avoid the waiting time to access the room. With early check-in, you can use the room and rest immediately upon arrival. The included tours are listed in the Trip Summary as such. However, supplementary tours are also available and listed with the price per passenger. These can be booked up to 30 days before departure. I have done three tours with exotica two were excellent to Ireland and Japan ! I had huge problems with Peru Ecuador due to the local tour operators who stole me money cards passport in machu pinchu and left me stranded in Peru ! My family remitted and I wax able to join the tour after an emergency' passport issued but local Peru and Ecuador operators were trrrible and there was no HSBC’s in either country ! I also think my tour guide stole my money in MP as she didn’t report the theft but they reported it later in Cusco but it was a torture and god helped ! I found both Irish and Japan yours excellent and I find the booking process is very good too ! Peru was a problem they said if I had booked locally they would have helped me but not with exotica ! So really I was caught between two companies who seemed not friendly or interested! With the crime in Peru Ecuador I am glad I am alive and returned home ! Despite a disastrous holiday in

We used Exoticca for the first time last November on a trip to Peru and have to say that everything went completely to plan and we had a really enjoyable trip. The guides were all exceptional and really informative and overall we were happy with our holiday and thought it was good value. As a result we booked a further trip to Asia next month. However, so far we have been disappointed in the level of Customer support post booking. We chose a flight that was to arrive in Vietnam in the evening, therefore didn't opt for the early check in that was offered as an extra. Unknown to us, Exoticca later changed our flight to one that arrives early morning. We were not told of this but noticed it when our itinerary was (quietly) updated. When we asked Exoticca if we could book the early check in they simply said NO. Because there were "only" 28 days left until the trip. When I explained that it was their fault that we were in this situation they essentially called me a liar and said that the flights had not been changed and either way they weren't prepared to help. We were told to just wing it. Subsequently it took a single e mail from my wife to the hotel to arrange the early check in - and at a fraction of the price that Exoticca would have charged. Exoticca are more than happy to argue with us over extended e mails but have no interest in ensuring that we have somewhere safe and secure to rest up in a foreign country after almost a full day of travel. We are committed to the Asia trip so will take stock afterwards as to whether we will even consider using this shower again. At the moment they have an awful lot of catching up to do to retain our business in the future.

Please be informed that the flights were booked on June 24th, with arrival in Hanoi in the early morning. Although the airline made a modification to the flights, the change was only a 15-minute adjustment. Please note that flight changes are managed by the airlines, and Exoticca has no control over them. Regarding our upsells, such as early check-in, please be aware that these must be requested via Exoticca up to 30 days before the departure of the trip for operational reasons. After this period, customers can request any optional services directly with the hotel or local operator. We also see that several of our agents have been in contact with you regarding this matter. Booking was a little longer than we thought and some of the details are wrong. Trying to get to customers services its a nightmare.

Have just book for 8 pax. We are having difficulties in making payment towards the trip . Some went through and some still hanging as their calculation need to be verified as there are mistakes. Have been trying to contact the person in charge, Walter, but not able to. At least 20 calls made. Still can't get an answer to my bookings. We hope our bookings can be resolved ASAP. Booking no UK-EX2024323289 and UK- EX2024323324. Can someone assist. Feeling exhausted with this experience.

Felt really pressured to buy asap (almost like all the warnings you recieve about scams), was told they are giving me discount, it turns out it was just the standard ones i would have recieved just signing up through the website, and now, trying to contact them about other credit in my wallet and they dont even reply anymore since they already got my money....
