“Terrible experience I got an Strelizia delivered on the 19th of September, 2025 with almost all the leaves damaged. I made pictures, sent to the shop, and on the leaves, there were some white spots, I had no clue what that was. I never got a response. A couple weeks later, the plant was infested with pests and when contacting the costumer service, they suggested the plant got infested at my apartment. Last week, I received an Aglaonema, and due to the contamination of the Strelizia, I decided to check it, and again they confirmed the plant is contaminated and it must have got infested at my apartment, when all the plants I’ve got at home are from them and the Strelizia and the Aglaonema are in separate rooms. All I got as a reparation was a spray against pests, which I believe if it works, they should use it at their own premises, before sending pestilent plants to their customers. The customer service also always says the damages are minor, even when most of the leaves are damaged.”

We are very sorry that your experience was not satisfactory.🥹 We would like to explain the situation from our perspective: The Strelitzia you received showed mainly tears in the leaves in the photos you sent us. Such tears are completely normal for Strelitzias and can occur with even the slightest touch – this is part of the nature of these plants and will happen from time to time. However, in the photos, we could not see any signs of white spots or pests. Therefore, we concluded that any possible pests could have developed or spread later. All our plants are carefully checked for pests after repotting, during care in our warehouse, and before shipping. If an infestation is detected, the plant is of course not sent out. Regarding the Aglaonema, we also could not confirm that it is infested with pests. Often, these are guttation droplets or small skin remnants on the stems, which can look like pests. However, you are welcome to send us more photos if you like! We provided you with a pest spray because the 30-day shipping guarantee had already expired. This was a gesture of goodwill so that you could quickly care for your plants and restore them to health. The spray usually works well to control any potential pests. We understand that this is disappointing for you, but we need to remain fair to all our customers. For any further questions about plant care or tips, we are always happy to help.
