“I was sent the wrong sandals - both wrong colour and wrong style but as I needed them for my holiday I did not have time to return them so I was not impressed”

“Fast efficient service - even with standard delivery. Only problem is we have to exchange size 10 boots for 10.5. to this we had to place a fresh order- pay another postage - and will have to pay to return size 10. we could have used return?exchange but couldn't take the risk of stock running out whilst this happened. No means of telephone contact to solve the problem.”

“Ordered a pair of Salomon Crossmax shoes at the bargain price of £35 on the Friday and they were with me by the Monday even though I chose the regular postal option. Terrific trouble free shopping and will definitely use them again and not hesitate to recommend Field and Trek! Brilliant thank you ????”

“I bought a pair of Salomon XA3D ultra2 in red. They were a great purchase and the service was excellent. I paid for the delivery 3-5working days but they arrived in 2 can't beat that service. I will go on the site again.”

“Appalling! I ordered some boots which came the wrong size. I could only obtain a phone number by searching the internet for "poor service". I was given a freepost address, but not told it would take up to a fortnight. I only found out with a second call. They will not be here in time for my holiday, and will arrive while I am away (if they do). Given my luck with this company they will not leave with a neighbour and I shall be further inconvenienced.”

“Field And Trek are reasonably efficient and many of their items are good value. They only have a handful of shops around the UK, so for most of us our only option is to buy online (if you don't want to drive a hundred miles or more). They charge £4.99 for delivery for small orders, but their online prices are less than in their shops, so with the delivery charge it comes to about the same. I bought a backpack and they dispatched it 24 hours later. It arrived by Yodel courier in another two days, so total of three working days. Even though I only paid a total of less than £15, the courier wanted a signature. So don't buy if you're not normally at home to receive the delivery, as you won't get it if you're not there to sign.”

“The trousers are fine; delivery very swift. I just don't need a free gift of a huge, heavy mug from SportsDirect.com; all that unnecessary packaging! It's the opposite of a 'gift'.”
