Possible contributions to freesias not being scented is maybe if they are in a cooler room, freesia scent is stronger at high temperatures but on flip side compromise vase life. Also depending on the mixture of colours on the bouquet, some colours have a stronger scent. The type of season we are in may also contribute to the scent as warmer seasons tend to have a stronger scent.
