They’re liars and dishonest with their stock. It’s common for them to have things on back order and they never actually ship them. I have at least five orders from them that were never fulfilled even after a two month wait and then were promptly cancelled without any apologies.

So bad! I ordered a vacume cleaner 3 weeks ago. The product never arrived at the store for pick-up. The customer service at FNAC Boulogne Billancourt are pretty much useless. A mid-aged white man at the customer service was rude and impatient. At the beginning he accused me that I have received the product already which was never the case. All they did was asking me to wait wait and wait. What a joke. That's why Amazon is dominating the market.

ATTENTION SCAMMERS!!! Sold me a pair of speakers from the Marketplace (condition: Perfect). Upon receiving them one speaker was physically damaged! After getting in touch with them they blame everything on the customer and wont provide any solution! BE AWARE!!!

I bought a vinyl album from Fnac, but there was 1 record of the 2 was missing. I was visiting France so I could only send it back via mail. Fnac also removed my negative review from their website. I contacted customer service but they refused a refund as it was after 15 days. As I was traveling the record was not opened so I had no way to know a record was missing. Very poor standards for a large company. I WILL AVOID using it anyway as the quality of their records has been poor as well.

I purchased a MacBook Pro 16" M1 from FNAC Monaco on June 30, 2023. Despite the sticker claiming it was new and on sale, my experience turned out to be disappointing. The charging block was missing, there was no screen film, and the keyboard had a faulty issue with random capitalization. To make matters worse, the Apple warranty had already expired, the device had 26 charge cycles, and 95% battery capacity. The salesperson's unprofessionalism and their attempt to shift blame only added to my frustration. Although promises were made to find a solution, the process would take around 15 days, which is not feasible for me as I urgently need the MacBook for work. This entire situation is unacceptable, especially considering our frequent patronage of FNAC. Following is an in-detail outline of the events: Yesterday (30/06/2023) I bought a MacBook Pro 16" M1 in FNAC Monaco, there was a sticker on it stating that it is absolutely new etc. but is on sale; I bought it. Upon my return home and unboxing, I've discovered that the charging block is not there and that there is no screen film on it, After booting and inputting the password etc. I couldn't open the Mac once again because of wrong password input, after reinstalling the OS I've discovered that the keyboard is faulty and randomly types all caps, it still does even after updates and trying to fix it. Additionally, I have discovered that the Apple warranty has expired (meaning that the mac is active for over a year) and that this Mac had 26 charge cycles (shutting down from 100 to 0 and charging from 0 to 100) and 95% battery capacity, Which is clear proof that I have been scammed and sold off a device that is not new, faulty and missing items. After going to FNAC once again and spending my day there, I was greeted at first with non-professionalism and hostility after explaining the situation to the concurrent salesperson at FNAC Apple device section, he stated that actually the product is refurbished (even though refurbished products have green tape stickers, and clear text that they are refurbished or used. Whereas once again in our case ours had a red tape sticker that stated "New" and on sale, great that I took an image to send before having purchased it, otherwise I would've been turned to idiot by that liar of salesmanship.) He pointed out that it wasn't him helping us buy it yesterday hence the problem and solely our mishap, delegating the fault onto his coworkers, as if that fixes any issue. Following that, we went over to the technicians/retour corner (after asking multiple times to talk to the manager, and being ignored blatantly.) We have been promised a solution, hence an email would be sent to every FNAC store and "manager" to find a solution, as stated since they do have a formula on how they deal with situations as such, we left our number, been promised a callback the same day and left. After waiting most of the day for a clear constructive call, we went ourselves, midst of the drive (about 50min before closing of the store we received a call, which we didn't manage to pickup, and neither did we manage to call back as it was automated.) Upon entering and talking again, we were told that this process will take about 15 days, or we can have monetary refund, refunding is not an option due to the fact that we had to exchange dollars to euro previously at a 20% loss; this was not of interest at all, second of all I need that MacBook as a work instrument, and very urgently. Personally, taking a look, there was absolutely no single brand new MacBook Pro 16 inch with an M1 processor available in any FNAC store (outside of Monaco.) However, I was shown the inside inventory system that there is in fact a scarce supply of 4-6 MacBook's of the same model spread around the whole of France, with an additional obstacle of whether the stores will be willing to send their inventory or not. So with all that in mind and all the time spent—and that is yet to be spent next work week sending out requests and awaiting responses... I've asked one more question, "What if none are available after all the time wasted waiting with the small return window of 14 days, am I back to the only option of receiving a monetary refund?" the answer was a firm Yes. Absolute shame and carelessness for customers, especially frequent customers, which we are. This is absolutely unacceptable from FNAC especially in Monaco where they are registered as a local Monégasque entity. We work with Websites, Designs, SMM, AR/VR, Digital signage and more here locally, and have bought the device as an urgent work tool, I am now left waiting in bitter frustration, clutching a defective - fault-full device, that was sold to me just Yesterday "as" brand new, leaving me a victim of fraud.

TLDR; - shop platfrom and integration with reading app is technically poor and provokes errors - kind but useless customer support - not a millimeter of goodwill to find an acceptable solution for me as a customer I purchased an ebook on fnac.com. First there was a problem logging into the Kobo App... support explained the reason was that I authenticated with a google account on fnac.com, but in the Kobo App I have to login with fnac user id and password. They instructed me how to reset and clear caches in my app. So far so good. But then although I could download the ebook inside the Kobo App I could not read it: the progress display startet but never ended I never saw a single word of text from the book. Longer than a week had daily email conversations with customer support and tried all the proposed procedures, but nothing worked. I tried on iPhone X and iPad Pro with most recent iOS. And that was it: customer support concluded more or less that that is my problem. I asked several times for a refund in case we can not find a solution for me, but this proposal was simply ignored. I read a lot of ebooks on lots of platforms (amazon, thalia, darkhorse comics, safari online, etc.) since more than 15 year but never had problems like that. So fnac: keep my money and fnac off! Your customer support will never have to deal with me!

I was due a refund for a show that didn’t happen, in December last year but the account they used had been closed for months resulting in me not getting the money. After exchanging emails back and forth with their customer service, and me providing the document proving that the account was indeed closed, they asked me to wait. 6 months later and I still haven’t received anything. I emailed them back one more time for them to reply that the original refund happened in December… yes but in an account that doesn’t exist!!! Am I falling into deaf ears?? So frustrating… thinking now about my next steps

Les prix ne sont pas competitifs hors promotion, le service apres vente pas au niveau, le pire ce sont les livraisons (ou retour de SAV, laptop flottant dans un carton!). Un produit qui devrait m'etre delivre entre le 16 et le 18 du mois n'est toujours pas arrive le 23. Les conseillers de la FNAC ne savent rien et me demandent de contacter moi-meme le transporteur! Les information sur le site du transporteur ne sont pas a jour! SIX tentatives de livraison ratees! A croire que je suis a leur disposition. A moi de regler leur probleme de logistique et en plus ils refusent un geste commercial. A la 5eme tentative de livraison le transporteur dit que j'etais absent alors que j'etais sur mon balcon en face de l'entree, il ment aussi en disant avoir laisser un avis de passage, et dans tout ca la FNAC n'a rien fait pour aider. Lamentable. Apres plusieurs deceptions, je ne commanderais plus jamais a la FNAC et ne recommenderais aucunement cette companie.

Terrible customer service. Save yourself time, money and frustration and NEVER buy here! Bought two books and they send me the wrong titles. I contacted chat first. They couldn't give me a straight solution "because another department is responsible for that". I asked them to email me back with a solution. Not possible! I tried several other ways to contact customer service, but they just completely IGNORE me. Frustrated and tired of wasting my time, I sent back the books, and paid for the return shipping costs myself. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! I've lost money and time and still do not have the books I wanted. I will NEVER buy from these ARROGANT people again! I wish I read the many, MANY bad reviews here before (all followed with a standard reply, underlining their lazy, impersonal service), then I would have never bought anything from them. Save yourself time and trouble and avoid these people at all costs!

"Abominabele dienstverlening, bestel NOOIT bij Fnac!" Op 14/03/2022 plaatste ik een bestelling via de website van Fnac. Het product stond aangeduid als 'voorradig' met een levertermijn van 4 weken. Nadat de levertermijn reeds enkele dagen was verstreken, besloot ik per mail contact op te nemen met de klantendienst. Hier werd door Fnac niet op gereageerd. Ongeveer een week later ontving ik een automatische melding: mijn bestelling had vertraging opgelopen wegens leveringsproblemen bij de leverancier. Erg vreemd aangezien het product volgens de site werd verkocht door Fnac.be en dus niet door een externe firma. Ik had de keuze tussen nog langer wachten of per mail mijn bestelling annuleren. Aangezien er zelfs geen nieuwe leveringsdatum werd opgegeven, besloot ik nogmaals naar de klantendienst te mailen...deze keer met de vraag om mijn bestelling te annuleren. U kan het al raden: ook deze keer geen enkele reactie vanwege Fnac. Ruim een week later ontvang ik wederom een automatische melding: mijn bestelling was geannuleerd wegens niet langer op voorraad bij de leverancier. Een terugbetaling zou volgens Fnac automatisch gebeuren, dit was echter niet het geval. Aangezien op mijn eerdere mails geen reactie volgde, besloot ik deze keer maar telefonisch contact op te nemen. Volgens de medewerker van de klantendienst moest ik me geen zorgen maken: het bedrag zou binnen de 4 werkdagen op mijn rekening staan. Terugstorten via een cadeaukaart (hiermee had ik de bestelling destijds betaald) was technisch onmogelijk en deed Fnac nooit. Zo'n 2 weken later (intussen zijn we twee en een halve maand na mijn bestelling!) werd er nog steeds geen eurocent teruggestort. Ten einde raad besloot ik nog maar eens te telefoneren naar de klantendienst. Na een gesprek van bijna een half uur en meermaals te zijn doorgeschakeld, bleek het bedrag zonet in de vorm van een digitale cadeaukaart op mijn account te zijn opgeladen. Dit compleet in tegenspraak met wat me de vorige keer werd verteld. Conclusie: Fnac liegt omtrent wie de eigenlijke verkopers van producten zijn (pure dropshipping als je het mij vraagt), de vermelding van voorraden zijn compleet onbetrouwbaar, de klantendienst negeert alle mails en geeft telefonisch foutieve informatie door. Dat de website allesbehalve uitblinkt in gebruiksvriendelijkheid (nog nooit zoveel foutmeldingen en dode links gespot) en dat de prijzen vaak ridicuul hoog zijn in vergelijking met de concurrentie, moet je er ook nog eens bijnemen. Nooit plaats ik nog een bestelling via Fnac, zoveel is wel duidelijk!

Je mets un commentaires ici car ils suppriment mon mauvais commentaire sur leur site. J’ai acheté un microonde d’occasion qui devait etre abimé mais en état de fonctionnement. Ne fonctionnant pas j’ai contacté le sav qui me dit la garantie ne fonctionne pas si le produit est abimé. Ne jamais acheter un produit d’occasion, il n’y a pas de Garantie… Ils ont clairement voulu se debarasser d’un produit deffectueux. Ils jouent sur le fait que j’ai mis trop de temps à les contacter (moins d’un mois). Je vous conseille d’acheter sur Amazon, vous avez un mois pour tester et rendre le produit s’il ne fonctionne pas. Avec eux vous ne disposerez que de 48h s’il arrive cassé et 15jours si vous changez d’avis mais que le produit fonctionne. Dans mon cas j’etais en vacances lors de la livraison, les vacances coutent un peu plus cher que prévu… Je l’ai montré à un reparateur à mes frais qui me dit que le produit est incomplet et qu’il manque une piece pour le faire fonctionner.

Magasin qui méprise ses clients fidèles. Je déconseille fortement. Je suis passé prendre les commandes indiquées comme dispo en magasin. On allait me donner les boîtes contenant les produits. C'est là où une personne du service de retrait intervient et dit que je dois repasser puisqu'on n'était pas encore à la date de la sortie. Non seulement la personne est désagréable, mais elle ne s'excuse pas d'avoir fait déplacer un client pour rien, en plus, elle ne connait pas la politesse envers des clients... C'est triste que la Fnac laisse certains employés traiter des clients de cette façon. Je n'achèterai plus à la Fnac qui a perdu un client qui ne doit absolument pas compter à ses yeux. J'ai été un client fidèle de ce magasin depuis 25 ans. Je me tourne désormais vers les concurrents.

Absolutely horrible company. We order iPad in December. It was telling 2-3 delivery days. It should be Christmas gift. After we paid with visa at once message chaged to 3 weeks delivery. No iPad after 3 weeks. We sent you email, answer back- we need to wait another week or two… 6 weeks after no iPad. We aseked to get money back, we got message that our address is wrong. Our adress is correct!! anither week, no delivery and now after several emails trying to get our Ipad or money back we got message that we have to pay 38€ to send product back to get money back?? What kind of cheating is this? Product was never delivery to us, nobody even called us with delivery or contact in any way and now you are asking to get even more money from us?? We will find a place to complain about companies cheating customers. We like to have money back!!!

Bought a Deezer gift card from FNAC Luxembourg that did not work. FNAC refused our request to exchange for a new card and wanted us to contact Deezer tech support ourselves. The tech support provided a new link which didn't work either. Now going back and forth with Deezer tech support which is taking forever (inefficient bad service). FNAC could have just solved this problem by giving us a new card and returning the faulty one to its supplier! Lousy service all in all from FNAC and Deezer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Very bad exsperience! Ordered a new product from Fnac France. In less than a year it stopped working. When I did the reclamation, they said "we are not responsible, because article was from different provider which gives 6 months guaranty". Customer service of Fnac admitted that this information wasn't available before payment. Why did I buy from Fnac!? So it is a kind of cheating and there isn't after service (third party sale). I won't buy anything from this shop anymore!

Absolutely useless company if you want something shipped to the UK. Firstly, they charge tax on the purchase, which they're not supposed to if it's over £135, and then they completely fail to submit the correct export documents so it gets stuck at French exit customs, then they don't even care about it until you ask them, "It's been sitting at French customs for days, what's wrong?", then they just cancel the shipment and cancel your order. Oh and now the item is out of stock. What a waste of time.

I have ordered a cooking robot for 800€ on June 1st. I wait for the delivery on June 4th and 5th, even on the 7th to be sure. Since I have no news, I go to the Fnac website to report it, feeling safe: no website (either BPost or Fnac) says that my package has been delivered, and I called BPost to confirm: they have lost my package since June 3rd so I feel like I'm going to be reimbursed soon. Nope ! The 28th of June, I receive an email from Fnac saying that they investigated and that the transporter (BPost) says my package is delivered (!). They now ask for me to file a police report and write a "declaration on honor" that I didn't get my package. I have opened a PayPal litigation and hope to be reimbursed that way... What a scammy thing to do.

Most of these third-party sellers are sketchy Asian companies that pretend like the product is being shipped from EU even though it's not. I just tried to cancel my order with Infinity Pro, since it's taken 5 days for them to ship something that is in stock. They do not reply to you if you ask them questions through the Fnac website. Fnac cant refund your money or help you in any way, they just keep telling you to contact them through the Fnac marketplace website. Also actually read the reviews yourself, because Fnac lies about the star rating of their ratings. An example is Infinity pro that has 4.5 stars according to Fnac but the majority of the reviews are 1 star and full of bad experiences.
