TL;DR - Fun Bikes have mis-sold me a quad (at a cost of £550). They are reluctant to resolve the problem, and now it seems they are avoiding my emails altogether. Do not trust this company if you want a shred of customer service! - I enquired about a children’s electric quad bike before purchasing to ensure it had a feature that was important to me (lockable speed mode). I received a reply stating the speed mode was lockable via a key - perfect. I replied again to double check it was lockable as it was important it was, their reply was yes it’s definitely lockable via a key barrel under the seat, so I went ahead and purchased the quad bike. Once I received the quad bike I checked the lockable speed mode and immediately noticed a hole where the lockable key barrel should have been. Instead, next to it was a plastic switch to change the speed mode but with no way of locking it. I checked the instructions and indeed in the instructions it shows a key barrel to lock the speed mode. I contacted the Fun Bikes and all I kept getting was an apology, with no actual explanation why the key barrel had been cut out or any offer of a return/compensation! They reluctantly offered a partial refund, voucher, or full refund after inspection. I asked how much of a partial refund might I receive, and I’ve heard nothing since. That was 2 days ago, I’ve messaged every day since - nothing. This whole shambles has now been going on for a week. Fun Bikes have mis-sold me a quad (at a cost of £550), they have been reluctant to resolve the problem, and now it seems they are avoiding my emails altogether. They have tried calling to ‘resolve the situation’ but I found the voicemail left was a little intimidating and quite frankly I do not want to speak to them on the phone, there’s nothing here that can’t be resolved through email. Avoid this company at all costs if you want even the slightest bit of good customer/after sales care!

Plenty of irony in the name. The experience from start to still not finished/resolved has been shocking. To keep it as short as possible ... - Faulty bike. - Awful/apathetic customer service. - No one in the company has taken any responsibility for an ongoing issue that is now 9 months unresolved. A massive amount of hassle created and as of today - we now have a new charger but still no bike. Two very disappointed children who have not been able to use their Christmas present. Give your money to this company at your peril. Happy to answer any response from management here as have made no headway after repeated calls and requests for a call back.

Honestly avoid this company!!! Purchased mini quad for my 5 yr old son. Advert for quad states suitable for 4-8 year olds. Upon receipt of the item, the instruction manual stated not for use for under age 12 years as at risk of serious injury or death!!! Contacted Funbikes who dismissed the 12 year old warning stickers and continued to say quad suitable for 4-8 year olds despite the manufacturer manual and quad itself having warning stickers not to be used under age 12 years. Funbikes refused to refund me on the basis of misadvertisement and stated it would be treated as a change of mind and I was not guaranteed to receive my full refund. I was told I'd have to pay for return postage myself which cost in excess of £60+. After a long battle with their shocking customer service who were exceptionally rude, in particular a call handler named Zarah, also Anne & manager April were very unhelpful, I finally received my refund after a lot of stress. Funbikes should not be allowed to false advertise when manufacturers have clear warnings of age suitability. Avoid this company if you have any sense, shop elsewhere!!

I bought an electric MXR from funbikes for my son's birthday and paid for express shipping. Waited at home for 2 days, to be told it was never shipped. My son was distraught. April called from Funbikes, sounded contrite and genuinely caring and offered to refund the delivery costs - to which I agreed. I chased up a week later to find that she had changed the offer to a refund of £6 for delivery. Naturally I responded to that email and she has still not replied 4 days later, nor has any refund been received. Eventually the bike arrived, and I charged the battery overnight as instructed. The bike worked, then refused to hold any further charges. After 8 hours of charging the run time is less than one minute. So far 6 phone calls to Funbikes and no one has made any attempt to contact me to resolve the situation. I've never been put through to Customer Service nor to their Technical team, no effort of any kind has been made to resolve the fault bike and no one responds to voicemails, calls or emails. AVOID AVOID AVOID. The worst customer service I have ever come across. Utterly shameful.

I brought my son the M2R RF125 S2 125cc it came the tank had glue steak running down the front a replacement tank was sent. The bike leaked fuel the switch in and off didn’t turn it off as stated new part sent fitted at my cost and stopped the leak however first time going to a track today and the bike expert had a look over it and found a few faults my son nearly snapped his ankle last week as he tried to kick the bike over the kick start pushed down about a quarter of the way before it makes contact hence he hurt his ankle also the throttle had way to much play only had it Christmas and only rode it 5 times for 5 minutes each time bike Boggs really not pleased and want this returned fixed properly and sent back to me shouldn’t have any problems with a brand new bike customer service is good no problems getting through just not happy with the bike in this condition.

I purchased a bike from this company and when it came it looked second hand and very used not only that it didn’t work and I’ve contacted them many off times and they just tell you that there gonna put your through to there “technical team” and then get no reply back sooo please do not waste your money here like I did as they are the worst for trying to help you out! And you will not get anywhere with it like me and end up with a big pile off useless metal! Worst company going😂

We bought two bikes for Christmas in 2018 from FunBikes. We asked them to do the assembly so we could pick them up ready to go. We got a email to say the bikes where ready ( a 140cc RF and a Quad) When we got there a guy gave us a complete run down on both machines before we took them.Had some teething problems after a month or so riding. I rang them, spoke to their mechanic and he told me how to remedy the problem, a simple fix. Never had a problem with the staff or the phone or the bikes. I did have a problem with a battery (under warranty)so I rang FunBikes (James) I'll put one in the post. I've read some of the bad reviews written here. They seem to be written by the same person using different names. 'Check the spelling/grammer' . If you want a new bike and don't want to break the bank go and see FunBikes for yourself.

Wouldn't bother with this company I got my son a bike christmas paid £400 for this bike to have a faulty battery from day 1, they expected me to do test on the bike and battery and still nothing been resolved even tho ive been on the phone to them since January and now we are in september, the battery has been sent back twice now and they want me to pay for a new battery i don't think so 🤔 I could understand if this happened after the warranty run out but no it was from day 1. I have seen a lot of people now having this same issue do dont buy a bike or anything g from this company they are a joke and waste of time. Customer services are a joke and andrew the manager says he wants to get the problem solved as its been going on long enough but then tells me today I can buy a battery off them for £100 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I don't think so. You have all been warned

This company is shocking and I don’t think there even working they keep you hanging on phone line when there not even there. I’ve been trying for over 6 months now to get through for spares for bikes that have. Broken there basically scrap now because you can’t get spare parts and if you order on there website there out of stock. If you read this just answer the phone people have given you a lot of money for bikes etc at least you should have the decency to answer there calls.

I have purchased 5 bikes from the company over the years and i've never had an issue with any off the bikes until the latest which was only a small issue with the battery which after some quick dialog with their lead technical adviser they had a battery in the post the next day. For me their customer service is brilliant.

Bought an electric dirt bike for my son at Christmas which cost about £350 and in June just stopped working , On contacting them we was told the warranty is only for 3 months but clearly faulty so sent back to them !!! Tests were done and I was told it was 100% faulty and didn’t pass the 1st fault test and that everything is recorded , I’ve bought £35 electric ride ons that last longer !!!!! They are now refusing to replace and want me to pay £170 for a new battery !!!! No discount nothing !!! Manager informed me to either buy the battery or sell the bike !!!! This is disgusting and I would not buy from this company as the battery will only last 6 months max !!!! The same thing has happened to our friends bike , DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY !!! I’ve a very upset little boy
