About FurniComp:

This venture started its humble beginnings whilst we were at university as students. Slowly as we started to understand the furniture market and the demand for it, we realised this is what we wanted to do and decided to create our own furniture company and FurniComp was born in 2018. As we got through university and graduated, we made this our full time goal and now are working with some of the best manufacturers and suppliers of home furniture products across the world.Being a family run business with experience in the industry we have managed to grow year on year as an independent furniture retailer by offering a personal touch throughout your online furniture purchase.

“Worst company I have ever dealt with and their customer service is appalling. After requesting a return/refund they failed to make contact with me despite having published on their website guaranteed returns. I sent 9 emails and phoned twice, I managed to speak to someone the 2nd time and the man I spoke with was extremely rude. 3 weeks on I have contacted my bank and explained the situation, they have refunded me and have now opened up a dispute with company. I’m sure if all is well with your order then reviews are great but if not then they don’t want to know. My advice…..steer well clear!”

“My 4th attempt - can't seem to add pics Delivery was less than a week, which was great. The item comes flat pack and assembly was mainly straightforward but was made unnecessarily more difficult because the pieces weren't numbered. Attaching the door hinges was tricky. On the whole, it's a good solid piece - my main gripe is that the top is slightly warped and dips at the front by a few millimetres so isn't flush with the frame. But excellent value for money, and fits the alcove perfectly”

“Lovely sideboard when assembled. Only issue is £70 extra to pay for delivery for not being mainland scotland but if you look at map Aberdeen is so not happy with that.”

“tracking and confirmation took some time to come through and I was about to cancel order thinking I'd been scammed. When I received the item, I have now built it up but had a problem at the end in that the central plinth of wood separating the door cabinets is of poor quality and I have been unable to screw in the doour hinges. The chipboard has just broken away and I cannot now fix the door on. Can you please advise if you will compensate for this as I am not in a position to start all this again and rebuild a new one but will aim to find a local joiner to see if he can fix it for mw.”

“The furniture itself is lovely, ordered twice nice and very happy both times. The after sales/ customer service is appalling. During construction of a draw one of the parts sheared off damaging a draw casing. I emailed straight away & requested a replacement and explained what had happened. They said we had caused the damage & we needed to pay £15 to get replacements sent out, I said no. I asked that they just send out the part that sheared, I would mend the draw casing, they agreed. Nearly 2 weeks later & despite several emails (that have been left unanswered) and a phone call I still don’t have the part. What a shame, that part can’t cost more than £1 & yet they have let themselves down so badly over it.”
