“I can't remember how I came across 247 Gamers but I had always heard negative things about key sites being massive scams and cons. I went into the purchase having severe doubts and was almost certain either my money would be taken, it wouldn't activate or it simply wouldn't run. I was pleasantly surprised. I recieved my key via email within I would say about 30mins. The key worked and I have been playing my new game for 2 days now and at 50% of price listed on steam and uplay.
Literally the only negative I've experienced with the website is a partial break of my personal details. If you stay on the main page you'll see on the left hand side pop-ups every now and then with things like (I'm using random names & locations here) "Paul in Reading has just purchased Skyrim" or "Ruth in Norwich has just purchased Battlefield 4". Now personally I didn't mind seeing myself on left as it only displayed my rough location and my first name but I did find it a little bit cheeky.
Overall based on the prices, services and speed of delivery with regards to my first game I definitely think I'll be using Gamers247 again. Probably for.... Far Cry Primal!”
What we sell is tarnished by scammers, both sellers and buyers unfortunately however as a company we have been in the industry now for over 10 years and started by selling boxed games, a lot of 'key sites' disappear after a year or so. We are happy you had a good experience and have gone someway to remove the doubts surrounded by what we sell. The notification you mentioned of recent buyers in no way breaches your privacy as it only includes first names and general location which in reality could be any 'Bob from Bradford' and is there simply to reassure buyers that its an active website. Sorry for any delay you received each order has to be processed manually due to the amount of fraudulent order we receive this includes verifying the order is genuine.
If it wasn't for the fraudsters then yes it would be an instant transaction.
“I was really dubious of using a discount site for steam but after a quick google it seemed that most people had a good experience with Gamers247. Took the plunge and I'm glad that I did!
The only part I dislike is waiting on someone to physically check and clear your order to receive your steam activation code - and that only took about 10minutes, so a minor annoyance.
Would highly recommend if there is a game that you don't want to wait to go on sale. Plus I got a random free game ontop of the one I purchased.”
Thank you for taking the plunge! Unfortunately we do have to verify each individual order before dispatch which can cause a delay due to the amount of fraudulent orders we receive.

Like most the reviews, element of doubt when using this site.
The first part is, yes it works.
However, there is room for improvement.
I ordered my games, and i did receive all the codes, but it did take some time (about 4 hours) for the 1st batch of codes.
I emailed support as i had not received the 2nd batch.
I did get a response, but have to admit on something i earlier read, that the tone of the email seemed sharp, or maybe it was just me, letting me know that i had been sent a email (i didnt receive it) a few minutes after the 1st one was sent.
I then had to suggest, sending me the email again, rather than just be sent it, something id of thought would of been just good practise to do.
Another good suggestion was, that there should at least be a auto response to confirm receipt of the email, that is sent to gamerz247 customer support, and a explanation of delay etc, of which does not happen, at time of this review.
This is my honest review, and only mention these things as so the experince can be more streamline, and help boost your sales, judging from other reviews, im not the only one finding a few niggles and bit put off by the experince.
That said, id spend more money with the company and recommend not being put off as it does work.”
We did apologise for the delay and 2 out of the 3 emails we sent you were ended with a smiley face so not sure how that could be misconstrued as 'sharp'. We get a CC of every email sent out so we know for a fact that the second email containing your remaining order was received, we simply informed you of this so there was no need to send out the email again.

“Everything as expected. Cheap and competitive price and code delivered was all working and fine. The only reason why it is a 4 star rating is, considering they claim 10-20 minutes for email code delivery, I wasn't expecting a couple of hours wait time. It was no bother and, to be honest, I'd rather pay £10 less then steam and wait then buy full RRP. But, if it was swifter on the delivery, it would earn that 5th star!”
“Bought Sim City 4 from here for £4.99 - would have cost £9.99 from Steam. Easy to navigate the Gamers247 site. Payment was easy although I like the option to pay by Paypal on line which I couldn't here. Got the verification email and Steam key email quickly. The main problem was finding where to activate the game on the Steam site which wasn't quite as straightforward as 'click on the game menu'. However I'm now up and running and enjoying the game!”
